Did a Speed Test just now, and it came out quite well, 9947 kb/s download, which is above average for where I live, but the upload was only 488 kb/s, which is below average.

I'm rubbish with stuff like this, but I'm assuming when you play an online game, you're uploading info as you play? Or not =/

Who the fights are between will be planned at the start of the competition, following the closure of registration a tree plotting the entire competition will be drawn up with a first round looking something like
fight A1: team 1 vs team 2
fight 2: 3 vs 4
and so on, later stages will have the appearance of
Fight B1: winner of fight A1 Vs winner of fight A2.

Then each team will be randomly assigned a number by GR and crew, something like
Team 1: Nimmers united
Team 2: Fusion Stalking Allstars
Team 3: Super Stealth Squad
Team 4: Deathstars.

The tree and the number assignment will be done by separate people to assure no possible collusion can take place.

Meaning round 1 would be

Fight 1: Nimmers United Vs Fusion Stalking Allstars (assume Fusion Stalking Allstars win)
Fight 2: Super Stealth Squad Vs Deathstars. (Assume deathstars win)

Round 2 would follow as
Fight 1: Fusion Stalking Allstars Vs Deathstars

With Nimmers united and Super Stealth Squad joining the other side of the tree in the second chance melee's which will work the same way (the competition is double elimination).

All of this is very similar to the original S4 event.

Been lagging the past few nights, annoying but nothing major, but tonight, I did Synapse, and the last 2 missions, I could barely move, I was rubberbanding all over the place, so much so, that in the final mission, the team had to bring the AV to me (I was tanker lol)

My netgraph had big red bits (technical I know) in it when I was rubberbanding, so was wondering if anyone else on Virgin had problems tonight or if it was just me?

After Synapse finished I couldnt get on the rest of the night =[

Can't you at least give the explanations but with case scenarios attached? Like if 20 or more teams enter, this is what will happen, and likewise for 10 or under or something?

Seems everyone is holding off registering either until the final day of registration, or until we know more about what is going on, for me I know it's the latter.

I understand you have loads to sort out, same with GR, and we all appreciate the time you've put into this, but with not long left to go, I'd like to know what is what before I make my final decisions.

One match a week isn't enough, it will drag on for ages, and if you leave explanations until opening night, chances are not many will listen/take it in. Seeing it all explained carefully, and written out on the forum for clarification is what we need.

eg Who arranges the matches, who goes 1st, will there be a rota made up and kept upto date so we know what is what?

I think you should take part, things like this don't happen often,so it would be a massive shame for you to miss out just to please ppl that don't even seem to be entering. I understand Alphanes reasoning, but at the same time, this is meant to be a bit of fun, to get the PvP community together, there's no massive prize on offer, so I don't see what the big deal is.

Yup totally agree with Kitty here, the lag has made the game unbearable at times, and no support at weekends.. well, lol.

Power lag, rubberbanding, not to mention the DCs a few ppl have been suffering from.
