UK resident living abroad can't use creditcard....

Hello,

A friend of mine has had his CoH account for a long time. Now he's moved abroad and wants to renew his subscription. But plaync wont let him make the payment because the registered adress is in the UK and his current IP is in Holland. Plaync sees this as a case of (creditcard)fraude, whereas he just wants to renew it and play again.

How can he pay for it and play and enjoy the game?

Thanks in advance, I really hope to receive an answer to this asap.

Maybe he needs to try Game Cards until he can fix his account so everything on there matches with his card.

Yep. PlayNC will be checking against the bank's billing address for the credit card, and comparing that to the IP being used. If he changes his address with the credit card company that should sort it out.

Thanks for the quick responses guys!

Questions to those; where does one find an EU gamecard? Because my friend says he tried to find them but he only found US ones... Either that, or the site said that they weren't available.

I think the PlayNC store sells them? I'm not really sure, I've never bought one.

Has he tried letting his bank know? Chances are it's actually the banks systems that are stopping the payment.

I know my bank asks me to let them know if I'm going to be going abroad. Most cloned cards are used in foriegn countries.
