This is Ruby's Cape
Ruby's cape is the "Rings" cape. It has a primary and a secondary color, but the secondary color always blends with the primary, making it impossible to match well with costumes.
The colors I have on the screenshot are black/neon red
If I reverse them to neon red/black, then you can't tell that there's any black at all - the blend takes mostly the red, and slightly darkens it.
Please take this blend out, Sexy Jay, it should be the straight secondary color, not the mix. -
Hey, do you have an alternate for the 15-19s? The breakout at the zig just doesn't work for a stalker. I mean, I guess I could make it work by defeating everything singly, and then rescuing after I defeat everything - but that goes real slow. And I'm totally worthless after I rescue someone, cause I don't have hide anymore.
-
Also, keep in mind that there was some bug that set everyone to active 2 days ago. At least all 8 of the SGs I have characters in have completely active rosters. I'd bet that it's the same bit that's used to show inactivity... so uh... everyone's gonna be on that page, including inactives... at least for the next 90 days (Though I suppose this could have only happened on Virtue)

Jaded Angels: Cunning but sexy group consisting of our main chapter, Jaded Angels that carries levels 20+, and our lower level chapter Jaded Angel Lyceum that carries levels 1-19. Both have bases, though only our main has teleporters and a stolen magic tree.
Website: http://www.guildangels.com is our joint site with a seksi hero vs villain battle introduction (obviously our Jaded Angel is hotter and more likely to win that battle). Our websites, while different, are joined at the forum level (so you'll be trading words with those... Angry Angels... as well.
Leaders: Or Idols, as I prefer, *blows a kiss* are the mysterious Ciara Cattivo, and our own Liz Taylor, Exotica. They are more globally known as @Dinah and @Ara. @Lady V and @Nutek are also always willing to give a home to any fallen angel.
Contact us: By leaving us notes and free drinks at the bar in Pocket D, or emailing us at guildangels@gmail.com
Guild Description: Unlike my heroic counterpart, AA, I do not plan on incriminating myself. I prefer the indirect approach *winks*. The members of the Jaded Angels are all...... women doing whatever business they wish to do in the Rogue Islands. While catfights do occur (there is constant surveillance in the base, makes for saucy reality TV), all angels will willingly ally with one another for whatever goal they want to accomplish. We house the misunderstood, the thieves, the crazy, and the just plain evil (Just do not even THINK about taking my designer boots), along with any other myriad of girls (all female character guild, sorry boys, you'll just have to sneak into our base by other means) living on the Rogue Islands. Please check out our website for our other rules (and don't forget to Panty raid the AA side while you're there). We have an all-inclusive membership and allow all kinds of gamers and roleplayers, we consider ourselves roleplay-lite in that many members like to roleplay, but we do not have ongoing stories.
CoH: Ugh, you want to deal with those hussies? Well, the Angry Angels can be found through our website as well, and has the same theme and leadership. They would rather have fame than be infamous though.
((All things considered, Jaded Angels contains mostly alts of our heroic counterparts in the Angry Angels. We do have a weekly villain night on Mondays, and there are always people around, it's just a smaller player base than heroside.))
Disclaimer: We're not real angels, we just play them in CoV. Our sexy lawyer () won't get me my... check... if I don't add the disclosure.

Sandy's usually on the Scrapper teams nowadays, and if Andra isn't around, I lead the other Scrapper team. Someone else has lead scrap teams before, too, but I don't remember who.
-
I just want to shout out to Virtue because you're all so awesome!
The raid tonight lasted 49 minutes from the start of Jonny's countdown until the final blow on Hamidon.
We did this with exactly 3 Empaths in the zone (we started with 4, but one d/c'd). We also only had 3 regen scrappers on the scrapper teams, and half of my scrapper team hadn't ever been in the role, or done the raid at all previous to tonight.
Amazing job all, what looked really bad on paper truly panned out to how amazing we all are: No resets, minimal deaths, and a 49 minute raid. Pat yourselves on the back!
Thanks so much everyone!

I would bet that this is mostly a check card issue - most credit companies don't care that much.
Anyone around that has had this problem with a standard credit (not debit) card? -
2 things I would absolutely love to see.
1. Be able to put 2 doorways side by side - this allows for bigger rooms, and multipurpose rooms. And wouldn't PvP in a "giant" room be super awesome?
We actually have this in one base due to a bug, and it makes the base so amazing and unique. I've tried to repro the bug so many times in other bases, but I can't
2. I'd love to be able to flood the lowest level of the base with water. This can be room based or the whole base,I don't care, but I would love to see this.
As a side note to #1, I'd like to be able to adjust the lighting and the styles/colors of the doorways, too. -

You said that and I had to go look.
I am just barely *not* in the video.
Not kidding, but I have a screenshot of the Mercy Hospital that is practically identical (with lots of the same characters in it) to the one in the video. Except it's about 10ft behind the shot. And I'm invisible. And about 10 seconds after they ported down.
*cries* My fame was thisclose! -
Bah, a regen scrapper can do it all by themselves
-
They have to rotate aggro or they'll die almost immediately - one tank can not take his aggro alone, and empaths can't follow the tanks in and buff them, either.

So how far did you get after i left?
[/ QUOTE ]
We got 2/4 blooms done - so about halfway. Most of our time was spent getting organized, as no one had ever done it before, so hopefully we'll be able to more quickly set up for the next one.

Gadget, I was pretty sure the EoEs were only useful against the yellow mitos, not Hamidon himself, so they shouldn't be used when they are taunting, they just need support.
I'd actually argue that we don't really need anyone taunting hami as long as everyone is spread out around him, and not just on one side. There was enough AoE healing going on that getting hit by Hami every once in awhile didn't wipe anyone. -
The stalker strike team worked really well by accident on our first test, but I think it might be better off to have the stalkers on the assault teams, just so that there are more bodies ('sides, most Stalkers have a hold, and they're squishy, too).
And yes, I played Leeroy last night. I even yelled it over the mic once.
My job was to sift through my combat logs and see what hit me. Turns out the greens can kill me all on their own (stupid -heal), but! That was the only thing that hit me, so yay.
After the first time, I was at the debt cap anyway, so no harm done. -
Real Regens don't take MoG.
Otherwise, it's spot-on. -
Ooooh, can I have melons and strawberries? They's yummy.
Anyway, if you all don't frequent the fan art forum, I posted a demo of the final mitos bloom over there:
http://boards.cityofvillains.com/sho...Number=8313277
It's from a flying scrapper's point of view.
I also want to note (Sandy do you want to change this in your guide?) that we use 3-5 scrappers per team, and have the extras pound on the left and run counterclockwise.
Also, technically we can substitute sonic res for empaths on the Scrapper teams, but we were never able to find any at any of our raids.
Oh heck, let me just post my write up that I had sent over to Ara a few days ago:
----------------
Hami Raiding - the Angel way! Players who are willing to lead hami teams should read through this, and we are very willing to bring you along if you haven't been yet to train you up, so send us a PM in game or in here if you'd like to see it for yourself.
Recipe:
1: (1) Tank team. This consists of 4-6 tanks, and 1-2 Empaths and 1 Kinetics
2: (2) Scrapper teams. 3-5 Scrappers and 3 Empaths per team. Scrappers should have flight (of some form)
3: (3) Blaster teams. Everyone else. There is a designated targeter in this group.
4: 1 TA defender with Oil Slick (not necessary, but makes it more interesting)
5: 2 Dark defenders with Howling twilight (also not necessary, but fun!)
Step 1: Spawn Hami. This is the easy part - just take all of your teams and follow the designated targeter.
Step 2: Blaster teams hand over any EoEs garnered to the Scrapper/Tank teams. Tanks and Scrappers should have at least 2 EoEs per bloom at this time, totaling 8 EoEs per player. This is about 40-50 EoEs, so you may find that grinding out Monsters beforehand is a good idea.
Note: This will not always be necessary, but is extremely helpful while we are learning how to use
Step 3: Blaster teams and 1 Scrapper team stay at South Safe Rock. Tank team and Scrapper team move to North Safe Rock.
Step 4: Scrappers are assigned a yellow mitos. North 3 are assigned as 2-3 scrappers on left, 1 on middle, 1 on right. Empaths are assigned a scrapper to follow, with one Empath per mitos. South 3 are assigned in the exact same way (This is why fly is useful). Raid leader will verify that the targets are correct. When first mitos drops, scrappers should move counterclockwise to help their team, working their way around.
Step 5: Start 60 Second countdown:
60 - Buffs. Empaths should be CMing the tanker/scrapper teams constantly starting now.
30 - Fulcrum Slick (Fulcrum shift on the dropped Oil Slick for the blaster teams)
20 - Tankers go in. Our tankers were trying out different formations for this and using as few EoEs as possible here. When a tank gets low, they get pulled out, rebuffed and put back in. We had a dark defender rez'ing them on the field if more than one fell at once.
10 - Scrapper teams go in on their designated target and attack as stated in Step 4. They should use an EoE here. The Empath for each mito should try and keep up with the clear minds.
0 - Blaster teams go in. Targeter will target a Green and move counterclockwise. This will kill the greens, and keep the heals off of the yellows.
Step 6: Yellows will drop first (do NOT use EoEs after yellows fall!), then scrapper teams should follow targeter onto the greens. After the greens are down, targeter will start on blues (remember that melee does not do damage to blues)
Step 7: Beat on Hami. Hami blooms at 75%, 50%, and 25%.
Step 8: Bloom! We were having some players get gunshy when it was close to bloom. There are a few ways of avoiding death here, though I doubt we'll ever have a bloom where everyone comes out alive. Not everyone will die here, and in fact we had fewer casualties when we got this down than during the old hami raids.
Step 9: Reset to the 2 safe rocks, and repeat 3 times until Hami falls!
Using this strategy on the mitos we were able to drop a bloom in under 5 minutes! Keep in mind that after Hami blooms, the mitos are sometimes repositioned. If they are repositioned drastically, ensure that the scrapper teams are still on one mitos per person. -
This is a demo of the last bloom of the new hami raid - it's still in demo format because I'm too cheap to buy fraps for 1 demo :P It was completed half by our SG and Coalition, and half by "pickup" people. The final bloom takes about 10 minutes (give or take).
It's done from the point of view of someone on the Scrapper team - there are 2 other PoVs (Tank and Assault) that I got in the shot. When I watched it for myself afterwards, it looks like the mitos don't die very well on demo, rest assured we took down the yellows and greens first (at the same time) and then the blues and hami.
Remember when you download and extract it, it needs to go in a folder called client_demos in your City of Heroes directory (mine looks like C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\client_demos )
http://guildangels.com/client_demos/tehnewhami.zip
I use Zloth's demo launcher here, and I don't disable the text - there are conversations that you can watch (and the countdown to Hami's demise):

Enjoy! -

No, wings go in the 'back' slot. Same with Trenches. Capes are separate.

I can tell you from demo editing that the wings go in the same spot as the cape would - there is no way to put them both on. -

There are two Face 1's! I'm guessing that one of them doesn't exist at all in the creator anymore, only for people who still have it.
In any case, they're very different.
Face 1 (hero original)
Face 1 (villain original)
As you can see, they're very different.
[/ QUOTE ]
I believe this is actually intended - whatever face you currently have shows at the top of the list as "Face 1".. I've noticed this on every costume I've edited lately, and the character's current face is always Face 1. I think it is just so that you don't end up with some wild face when you load the editor, since they recently renamed/numbered alot of them. Might be nice if it was called "Current Face" rather than Face 1 though
[/ QUOTE ]
No they're both Face 1. There's nowhere else in the editor that you can pick those two faces, and I actually just checked with a hero that didn't have Face 1, and I have no access to hero Face 1 at all (see the original screenshot), only villain Face 1.
I'm afraid that it'll disappear completely and two of my heroes will no longer be able to change their costumes due to the fact that if I did, I'd change my face. And I don't ever want to be stuck changing a face...I'd likely delete the characters over it -

Whew. I am jet lagged all to heck. Plus I caught the E3 flu that is going around AND had a Howies Monster Energy Drink Hangover (TM). Thanks to Obsidius and his leet camera I still look ok in the pics despite being low on end.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that came by the E3 booth to say hi or that came out to Howies to play Saturday. It was great to meet everyone. I know I took a few more pictures with you guys so I expect to see more out there soon!
I met so many fun people - from finally meeting sweet DJ Jester in person, to Nylonus who brought me a Starbucks card and a stuffed bear on behalf of Virtue, to Dave Williams from AEG who agreed to maybe make a CuppaJo card to Mantid who is a forum star in his own right, to the lovely ladies of MMORadio to discovering that when SagittaryGold and I stand next to each other we create a dynamic force field that makes cameras useless! Plus I got to hang out with the very funny Matt Miller and Serdar a ton. It was a great time - thanks to everyone!
[/ QUOTE ]
Ugh, you caught that too? My nose is leaking like crazy. *kicks E3*
It was cool to meet you Cuppa, sorry I didn't stop by on Friday, I got dragged out to the beach -
Eh, give him a break, he was just venting... pet peeve for him I suppose, either way we know whatcha mean
Besides (IMO) he's wrong anyway... lag is a general term to describe the slowness between what you see, and what you get.
So, in Venn terms, bigcircle: lag. little circle: network limitations. little circle: system limitations. little circle: PEBCAK etc
