The "turning out exp" thing is for the On patrol blue double xp or for ALL the exp?
Because if it is for ALL the xp, the devs just gave the PLers a way to keep some characters eternally at level 46.
[/ QUOTE ]
Someone said somewhere that it's unavailable after level 44. Not sure if thats right or not, but it was posted somewhere. -

*Cough* er.... maybe 365 bars where your maths comes from but my calculator says eleventy million :P
[/ QUOTE ]
Remind me to get your calulator over to our pay clerk. -

10 bars of double experience in all his career? Or for every period of inactivity?
[/ QUOTE ]
I believe its for every period of inactivity so that if you were offline for a year you won't get eleventy million* bars of double xp
* could not be bothered to work out exactly how much DXP would come from a year offline :P
[/ QUOTE ]
Thats how I read it too. Altough being off line for a year would give you 365 bars, being that it's 1 bar for 24 hours. -
[ QUOTE ]
Anyway, I think I read it was only double xp toward a single "bulb" of xp, so not such a big thing...
[/ QUOTE ]
Nope, on the link above you get this:
[ QUOTE ]
In addition to all of the Day Jobs, every character is "On Patrol" after they log out of the game. When players log back into Paragon City or the Rogue Isles they will gain 1 bar of double experience (when defeating enemies) for every 24 hours they are logged out. A player can earn up to 10 bars of double experience this way. Double experience is shown as a blue portion of your experience bar. One thing to note is that if a player has any experience debt, the debt will be removed first before any double experience is applied.
If your character has a number of bars of double experience that exceeds the number of experience bars you need to level up, then this double experience will carry over to the next security/threat level.
[/ QUOTE ] -
[ QUOTE ]
you don't HAVE to log out "On patrol"
[/ QUOTE ]
You sure about that? The way it reads is that when logged off you are ALWAYS on patrol. -

Assymetric skirt designs... could go for that.
The problem is often the image maps that get used. They draw one side only and mirror them.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yea I'm pretty sure that's how they do things was it not the case of before Cov was launched all the faces/costumes were symetrical but the changed and added new non symetrical stuff as asymetricsl was more vilinus or somthing
Still a good idea things like odd shoulder pads should be relativly simple to do (I said relativley) but would appear as new shoulder options so you would in effect be almost tripleing the size of the list for that costume part who h could be a bit clunky. It's maybe time the devs looked at giving the charichtrler creator a over hall it is after all probably COH's best feature and should be treated to some love
[/ QUOTE ]
You could have a check box for left right or both. Same length list then. -

but I did get one very emphatic NO!!!!
[/ QUOTE ]
Any farming requests i get get this reply and then the person is promptly ignored. Farming tells i find rude.
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't recall mentioning I was forming a farming team. I was doing the Respec TF, and mentioned that in the tell.

[/ QUOTE ]
That may have been me, sorry - my corrupter had been getting spammed by a farmer trying to form a team, who seemed to think that setting your flag to LFT means that it overrides your 'no farmers' comment...
[/ QUOTE ]
Apology accepted if it was you. -
[ QUOTE ]
So zero people minus x = what exactly?
[/ QUOTE ]
-x? -
[ QUOTE ]
Did there not used to be a furry main type costume piece (think it was under shoulders) they could also borrow some pieces from the banished shaman
[/ QUOTE ]
Hairy under shoulders? Like Hairy Armpits? That would rock! -
The second part of that post does indeed ask the same question as this OP. However the dismissal was for for the PDD icon.
[ QUOTE ]
How about...
A PPD badge badge which, like the military medals chest emblem, could be pinned over a jacket.
In fact, a version of each of the collectable badges in the game which could be pinned on your costume as an "over" emblem (one visible at any one time).

Is there a minimum level required? I have a low 20's tank and a mid 20's scrapper that would be up for a fight.
Either date should be OK, although during the day, not the evenings. -

The Halloween event is now completed. Paragon City and the Rogue Isles can now rest easy ... or can they?
[/ QUOTE ]
I thought you worked for NCsoft, not Cryptic. -

Mind you, i can understand the attraction, i'm so l33t and awesome

Modest too.

They had LFT on, and I think it said 'looking for any' in the desc, but what the hell, I though sending tells was the polite way to create a team.
[/ QUOTE ]
It is, and don't let anyone tell you different.
I do object when I'm clearly marked as not looking or blocked, but that's different.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I started with the people who were LFT, don't think I needed to stretch to the people who were down as the default. Given thats how you are when you log on, I will /tell to them if necessary. -
[ QUOTE ]
Headbutt and Knee Jab are also identical clones. Keep Knee Jab, but Change headbutt to something like Moderate damage, high disorient.
Aside from that, I like it =]
[/ QUOTE ]
And please call it the Liverpool Kiss. -
I was creating a team the other day and sending tells asking people if they were interested. Most people were polite, but I did get one very emphatic NO!!!!

Same with the Fire and Ice swords as well, much to my annoyance.
They're not actually objects like the "weapons" are, just FX.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually babs said sthat fire and ice sword are customizable, but they chose not to, because it would only affect 1-2 powers in the sets.
[/ QUOTE ]
It would look pretty weird having green fire sword, but all the rest of the set was yellow fire. Plus the damage done to the target would be yellow too. -

Would be very helpful, for both people forming a team and people lft. -
[ QUOTE ]
Quite.
In 25 years we have gone from magnetic tape, to 5 3/4" floppies, to 3 1/2" floppies, to CD to DVD. That's an avarage of a new format every 5 years, and we have been on DVDs for a few years now.
[/ QUOTE ]
don't forget that with the format came leaps in disc size
tape - no idea
5 3/4 - 700kb ish (I think)
3 1/4 - 1.4mb
CD - 700mb
DVD - 4GB
I'm not sure what a blue ray disc holds, but the future looks huge. -

That's almost sweet, in a naive kind of way. Bless.

I've really got to stop making comments like that, I get myself a reputation thats wholey undeserved. -

Danish server? Is there a Donut one too?
Zukunft is the German server, there's no server for the Netherlands.

What about for the Danes in Denmark?
Last night was the least laggy I've had this week. Monday was a killer though. -

[ QUOTE ]
Unless mistaken, all of the above. Being in a specific (i.e. train station and so forth) location also counts as being on patrol.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, On Patrol is only when you're not in any of the other specific places.
[/ QUOTE ]
The initial release said you are always on patrol, didn't say anything about not being on patrol if you log out at a job. -
[ QUOTE ]
So to "get a day job" you need to log out 30 times in total in each location?
[/ QUOTE ]
Erm, sure, if you log out for an average of 24 hours each time. You need to have been logged out in an area for a total of 30, non-consecutive, days.
