Just got mapserved and Inifnity is Grayed out. Didn't this just happen the other night?

Very Awesome. I seem to recall Shield Offense being discussed before. I think some of the animations just failed to work(such as Sheild Throw). Shield Charge screams of Offense, and may be the remnant of an Offense set. However, even Shield Charge doesn't work as originally intended.

Quote:Indeed. Coralax appear to have no fleshed out backstory or origin(short of being 'infected by coral'). I was disappointed to hear it was 'up to us' in AE.Every time the topic comes up internally, I bring up the Blood of the Black Stream. I like the concept, I like the backstory, I like the powers...no one seems to like the amount of TIME they'd take, though. Coralax are totally 'meh' to me...unless we ever get that Underwater Zone that's been talked about.
Since I heard Blood of the Black Stream, I wanted it. I didn't even know what it was, it just sounded cool. -
Evasion/Focused Fighting/Focused Senses/Weave: Use more slots; particularly for End reduction. 4 pieces of Gift of the Ancients grants +1.8 to max end which actually grants more recovery than the recovery set bonuses do. Try GotA: Def/End, Def/End/Rech, End/Rech, Def/Increased Run; LotG Def/End, Def/+7.5 recharge.
Dodge, Agile & Lucky: The Passives are best for Def, Def/Run Speed and Def/+7.5 (Yeah I say the Def/End. tsk tsk)
Focus: Take that lone Thunderstrike out. Decimation alone will get you to the ED cap for damage. OR you can just put in a full set of Thunderstrike (+3.75 ranged can't go wrong!)
Practiced Brawler: Put in 2 Recharge! Yes, set recharge can cover it, but you never want to be locked out of Mez Protection due to slow effects! (Some Psi Holds are typed Psi only, no position def works!) One end recharge in it is ok, 2 is best.
Stamina: TAKE AT 20!! The sooner the better.
I'd recommend only 4 slots. I slot 2 generic End Mod IO's, and Performance Shifter End Mod, Chance for +End. A lot of enhancement is wasted otherwise. Still, some like the set bonuses. Up to you.
Medicine Pool: I often opt for forsake Medicine Pool for Combat Jumping. *dodges thrown debris*
With SR, you are more than likely to not be hit. Don't need to heal what ain't hurt. Combat Jumping adds more def(yes not much, but all the closer to soft cap), can be slotted with Blessing of the Zephyr for 1.25 Ranged def, and combines well with Hurdle for 25'+ jump height.
Quickness: I'd recommend to take earlier. It's not the best power you can take, but +20% global recharge and 20% slow resist is nothing to sneeze at.
Elude: While I myself do not use Elude, I used to. It's your panic button. If for some reason your Def gets knocked down to unacceptable levels you suddenly have more and a lot more speed to RUN AWAY with. For nothing else it's another home for LotG or GotA. Perhaps worth taking at lvl 49. -
I'm kinda the mutant here.
I've 2-slotted with Lockdown for the +3% damage(Rech/Hold & End/Rech/Hold).
I used to slot for Res(and 2.5% Recovery), but my Resists are pretty high between the Armors + Tough(and /Elec doesn'treally need the recovery). -

Quote:Set bonuses only affect you.Do global DMG bonuses (from recipes sets) affect your minions? In my MIDs build I have 25% global DMG Bonus and am hoping that it WILL affect my minions. I'm not 100% certain which is why I'm consulting this forum and the experienced MM community. Any information will be greatly appreciated
Any powers that affect teammates will affect your pets. -
The Server did go down for a few minutes. For a bit server wasn't grayed out, but clicking on it led to "cannot access DBserver".
Now? Up again. No idea what's going on. -
Just had the exact same thing happen

Quote:I'm really not taking it that well. I haven't been playing.you guys are taking this suprisingly well. i would have guessed people would be demanding the devs pay them for lost "income" or something, when actually you are planning on how you will make even more money off of it, bravo. i guess the regulars here are already so filthy rich it doesnt even matter.

None, but then, I have hardly played since the market went down.

Quote:My own issues fall under /bug. Can't send those. Nor Petitions.A /bug report will never get you a response. If you're having a technical issue you should go to the support site (help.ncsoft.com) and submit a ticket.
Perhaps I should sum up what I was saying: Frustrated with the state of Live. So are others. We giving up rather than seeking help that is proving hard to get due to state of Live. -
Quote:Well, one reason is we cannot send bug reports. After using the new Market UI, the various market button are grayed out and do not respond to any click. This carries over to the various other virtual buttons; Send Petition or Send Bug Report doesn't work. The Television is showing a commercial for CoH Tech support.
The Tech support guy is talking about how hardly anyone is calling them about I17, and that they've only gotten a handful of tickets.
Tech support is pleading with the great players of CoV to please contact them so that the streets of the Rogue Isles can be filled with their happy faces once again.
Finally, Tech support kindly suggests that you are not watching enough Television, and asks you to try to up your daily dosage.
Another reason is the graphical issue that lag out the game or cover everything with horrifically distorted graphics(not my issue, but have seen plenty of this on the forums). Wither of these makes it unfeasible to make a Bug report.
Another--albeit 'minor'--is the change to the Enhancement's size. The level numbers are hard to read with a large monitor, and impossible to read with a small one(I have a 14"). Respecs are barely feasible with this change; making the free Respecs granted more of a tease than a treat. This was bugged in Beta, but seemingly disregarded and put to Live anyway. It appears we were(and are) not heard.
It feels more was broken than was added to the game with this issue. It's as though it were rushed out to meet the anniversary, and before all the kinks were ironed out(Yes bugs always accompany a big Issue, but this really has taken off the shine).
Live patch on a issue should be an exciting day.
More or less the feeling (at least mine) from this has been disappointment. No, I'm not whining to whine(I did my share of that back with the debacle that was ED). This is a honest response. For the first time I'm disappointed with the game I love. That just makes me sad.
[Okay, yes I got very much off topic. I guess this has been just sitting in me for a bit] -
-
I experienced this entering Cimerora, but was able to jump out of the ground.
-
I suppose it's good it a known issue. Still, I think I'll be doing other things this weekend.
-
I cannot take anything of the market once I get the "Market is too busy to process your request". Swapping toons doesn't change it, nor does reloading the the game. Market is busted(Like many, many other things). This was had to have been rushed to live for Anniversary.
-
Holy Crap...
I am not, but I have heard of others with some such as this. Try to update your driver if you haven't done so. -
-
Can't market.
Can't read the enhancement levels(and thus, respecing isn't feasible).
So far...I'm not a fan of the new issue. -
Quote:try a 14" non-wide screen at 1024x768. I see Braille; not numbers.Wow, I didn't expect such concurring responses. I thought it was just me.
I have a 22" widescreen monitor, running at 1440x900 resolution, and I'm 26 years old... yet I honestly cannot make out the numbers, only the color of them (and even that's a struggle).
This really needs to be fixed, or we should have an option for the font size like we do with the chat box.
I did bug this in Beta, and am rather put out that it ever made it to live. Respecing isn't remotely feasible. -
Quote:But will any of this work for the respec screen? I can't properly pull off one with the numbers unreadable. As a temporary measure (I'm assuming this will be adjusted eventually), you can try the following:
typing
/windowscale auction 1.3
will increase the size of the auction window, and with it the text size for the enhancement/recipe numbers shown there.
Typing /windowscale auction 1 will put it back to default again (unless you've changed your global windowscale in the options, in which case you can just change the value there again).
Unfortunately it doesn't seem like you can go past 1.3 (it actually starts somewhere before that, but 1.3 is easier to remember than 1.27).
You can do the same for your enhancement tray with
/windowscale enhancements 1.3
(the enhancement tray has to be undocked)
It's a fairly ugly workaround, but at least it should make the numbers easier to read.
