  2. Not all single-mission arcs are farms. That aside, I look forward to seeing what you find.

You realize that right now people do multiple trades of 2 billion off the market for certain IOs, right? If they can trust the other side to not to rip them off for 6 billion over the course of the several minutes it takes to coordinate all those clicks in the trade window, market window, and send the appropriate tells, why are they suddenly going to worry about what amounts to pocket change for them?

Edit: I see I got some negative rep because I didn't jump on the "Price controls are good!" bandwagon. I hate to be that guy that links wikipedia, but, really, it's pretty easy to look up the real-world effects of imposing price ceilings on goods and services: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Price_ceiling

Riiight. Your argument is invalid, you implicitly compared farming in a videogame to killing millions of people in a terrible atrocity.

Now I'm not talking where you can sell a purple for 10-20 mil or even 50 mil, but to price something at 400-900 mil or over a bil for 1 recipe...that needs to stop.
Then no one will sell stuff at WW. Unless you eliminate all trading outside of the market. But that means killing enhancement bins in SG bases and so on too to completely make the market the only means of moving loot.

EDIT: Why? Cause I would think the fact that you have a published Arc on the LIVE servers using a known abusive exploit or bug would, oh, I don't know, disqualify you from being in CLOSED BETA.

Hopefully what you're guessing isn't the case.
Isn't the point of CLOSED BETA to test how breakable things are? Isn't someone that finds those kinds of things EXACTLY the people you'd want in Closed Beta instead of some carebear?
  7. No rewards in the mission architect. It's the only way to be sure.

How dare those plebeians reap massive rewards. This should only be done by the rich people who already have their soft-capped builds and billions of inf to purple out their new warshades.

    CoV Version 2
#1 I'm not sure this is the right cannon, but it there's nothing near it to tell me it isn't, and I think I've got the angle pretty darn close.

Global is @Reisma, we share a global channel or three.
  11. We woulda shaved 20 minutes off the SF if we hadn't needed to wait on a GM... >.>

And I was only responsible for 80-something of those deaths

Can we get this thread up to 50+ pages too please? The forums don't have enough I15 Badge Changes Rage yet.

    Eco.

[/ QUOTE ] 50 pages is relative anyway. It depends how many posts per page somebody has in their forum settings. 50 pages for one person might be only 25 for another.

    Edit:
For example, for me, this thread only had 1 page until I posted this reply.

    You're farming page count! BAN!

Yeah, my bosses just got made far more deadlier. One in a dev choice arc, so I'm stuck with it

    ...

I thought Dev Choices arcs were supposed to be frozen in time, and thus protected from any changes: otherwise what's the frickin' point to locking the arc?
  14. I'm not looking forward to redoing my arcs to find something tough but fair again. I had specifically picked the settings I did to give one enemy mez protect without nasty things like Oppressive Gloom. -_- I guess my zombies will just get regen as their secondary so I don't accidentally mez the crap out of players.
  15. Kill that same boss solo, get 40 tickets...
  16. I tried to get a glowie to spawn with a boss defeat as the condition for its spawning but couldn't find an option to do so.

Granted this was on test a few days ago so it might have changed by now.
  17. There's the one map of Primeva, but I don't know where to find it in the MA. :\
  18. I've got Glimpse of the Abyss's damage proc slotted into Cloak of Fear and I have yet to see it do damage, even when standing in a mob of trolls in the holllows (which are perma-feared from CoF). I also have Dark Watcher's Chance for Recharge Slow slotted in, and I'm not sure, but I think it's hitting me with the debuff instead of the enemies...

Edit: Well, I take this back. I was goofing around in Steel Canyon just now and I saw an outcast die from Psi damage from Cloak of Fear. It just took several minutes of standing in the group of them for it to hit. I also saw a message in the log that I slowed their attack rate, and unlike when I last tested this my attack button timers didn't reset. So I feel like an [censored]. >.> It looks like it's working, just suckily.
