Im chillaxing honest I was furious at the time but now im having a chilled glass of Marcians Awesomesauce and it seems to be good .

And also realizing Tobay is right and its over and likely the best course of action is figuring out a way that it won't happen again .

Awesomesauce is when a person has too much awesome the exess usuall dribbles off them and is refered to as awesomesauce .

Simon and Garfunkle are a good example of someone oozeing awesomesauce and how it can affect those nearby .

As far as the avatar its my main from in game Dragonberry , my friend drunk-fu modeled her dance after a dance done by noodle in the Gorrilaz video .

And of course shes not nude as that would be a violation of the current avatar policies , shes wearing a scarf and legwarmers

I still don't think its a miscommunication at all , The Pwns tag in her signature is all the proof I really need of her intent .

Im giving you Tobay the benefit of the doubt in regards to this because the feeling of awesomesauce is mutual but other than you vouching for her I really don't have a good oponion on this action .

Then she really should have posted it as "Reposting for Hugo " She did the same scumbaggery in Kichis actual birthday thread and I have no tolerence for someone like that .

considering they posted the same thing in the persons birthday thread I hardly belive that to be the case .

I think most of us that spend hard currency to have something commissioned would at least like the decency of posting our comission first and not have someone attempt to show case it themselves or have the artist showcase it.

To have some yahoo come in and showcase art of a artist that dosn't post here and of art not of their character as well as depriving anoter forumite who's characters are in the picture the chance to show off \their comissioned art is just the lowest form of scumbaggery .

Now you sorta ruined it if the for the player that piece was done for and her good friend that purchased that piece for her if they wanted to show off their commission on these boards .

While its a nice thought to show off work of an artist you like the players birthday was just today and she just received the art in question in the wee hours of the morning .

As you posted in the players birthday thread on Virtue I think your well aware of that .

I find this in horriably bad taste that you would depreive someone else of a chance to post their own comission Espescially considering your not the artist , not the person whom purchased it and not the person it was purchased for .

To do so on the girls birthday when the art first showed up on Deviant Art and when she is likely off having fun is just sad .

At least have the decency to wait a few days next time if your so gung ho to show off art you have no part in and allow the Artist or person its meant for a chance to showcase something likely very special to her .

(Kichi is on the art forums from time to time usually to post videos and is a player on the Virtue Forums ,the gentleman that purchased the really nice art is Fearghas also of virtue . Kichi turned 18 today and if your enjoying her birthday art so much you might want to stop by her actual Birthday thread and wish her a happy 18th

In regards to receiving critiques when posting art

Im personally selective in my reading of Critiques(and likely in my spelling of Critiqes)

If your a fellow artist i'll glady read it , look it over and see if its something I can fix .

If your not a fellow artist (and by artist I mean anyone brave enough to post art they have done on a public forum ) then I honestly likely glaze over it don't bother to read it .

you might have the greatest artistic eye in the world but if you aren't intrested in sharing your work im likely not intrested in hearing your oponions

(As a Salient point I never do comissions so feed back from a customer is very unlikely :P )

In Regards to critiqueing others work I try to follow the very good advice of Syatfin (third post after the OP)

realizing that this isn't an art critiqueing board and for alot of folks this is their first time getting a commissioned piece (which is likely very special to them ) or working up the nerve to post their art in a friendly enviroment .

If someone asks for open critiques i'll likely give an oponion (not to be confused as fact) but still think your better off handling those sorts of things via pm's

That being said im greatly enjoying seeing the wide range of articles , while I don't read everything I find that theres enough different articles and sections that do spur my intrest that I never regret stopping to read the Scoop .

I apologize about posting the Scoop entries without getting notification first. I am not putting blame on anyone, but when I first joined the Scoop, I was told to collect the art and pass it on... I wasn't really informed to do much else. I kind of got tossed into the mix. However, I have made this thread to avoid any problems in the future. This way, if someone has something they want submitted over another piece (usually, if theres multiples I'll choose my favorite of the pieces which can be unfair), they can choose that way too.

It is bothersome that they would do it without at least asking the artists as they seem to be about the working with and through the community and attempting to bring diverse sections of the player base together.

Question in regards to the fan art used in the City Scoop , are you actually asking the artists or owners about its use or simply asuming they want it used in your publication ?

I know a few friends that have had things used and were not contacted and while they aren't mad it does seem to irk them from time to time and thus my question .

all photos I have seen so far are in game screenshots so id imagine it Safe for work
