Dark_Inferno might be in a time freeze:

Long story but I need to get the patch files before the 26th of this month or I have to wait another whole month until the 26th of next month.
The pre-patch isn't the whole thing, though. When the issue drops on the 28th, there will still be a smaller patch to download, so you may be screwed.
  2. It's probably memory exaggeration, but it seemed like I never got anything but useless pet recipe drops from those, anyway. Ah, such are the vagaries of "random".
  3. Well, it's not like I'd freak out or anything if they did it, but it's mostly that I'm just fine with the way things are. Not like this game is hard or anything. Not really much of a comparison between things we can choose as powers and cosmetic stuff like animated tails, though. Different things entirely.

    For everyone:
Removal of prereqs (you can get Fly without Hover)

    For 60+ vets:
Can take any of the powers at any level (can get Fly at level 6)

    Y/N?
No, despite the disgruntlement shown by some in this thread, I see nothing broken about how things are now, therefore do not see a reason to "fix" them.

Heh, if I'm on a team where the leader is typing like that, PLEASE kick me!

I like how you can actually read the "one eyebrow arched" tone there.

I'm not sure how bringing back a thread that's only a month old is all that "necromantic" anyway.

    Talbein_Vikshus wonders:

So the question here is...how many others have a 'compulsion' to complete every storyarc for each contact for every alt?
I thought about it once, going through and doing every arc on even just one. But when I was trying to get a certain arc in my late 30s on my main, and how long it took me and how much debt I was having to take, I decided it wouldn't be worth the bother (and that was well before the XP bumps we've had and a bunch of new arcs).
  9. Hee, true enough. I'm just saying using that phrase so early on just makes me not read the rest, unless I'm looking for mockery material.

By including that phrase, you've pretty much invalidated anything of value you may have had to say.

    Because of religious intolerance then?
To take their land (or personal political reasons). Most of the people killed that were accused of witchcraft didn't have anything to do with witchcraft.

There, I said it for you, GG.

Do you want the game to be about technique or numbers?
I want the game to be about fun!

Boggle my mind though it may, the numbers crunchers actually have fun with their min/maxing.

And yeah, thread necromancy is bad m'kay?
It's less bad than starting a new thread about something already existing, though. I don't get the thread necromancy hate here. It's one thing if they're just popping it up to pop it up, but if you're staying in the topic, I see nothing wrong with it. In fact, as mentioned, it's better than starting yet another new thread.

Off-topic, but I used to love my old roomie when he'd work long hours. All I'd have to do is look at him and say something stupid like "Banana!" and have him rolling on the ground holding his sides.

This game is so easy that, short of someone actively harming the team (perhaps by causing wipes via training mobs), I can't imagine getting worked up over a gimped build.

Back in the old days (I6) I used to get kicked frequently for being a TA/Archery Defender and not having "heelz". Which was just okey-dokey with me, as I'd rather not even play with people of stupid mindsets like that.

-Entering an Ouroboros portal will interrupt people using Base Teleporters, Mission Teleporters and Assemble the Team powers nearby. Kindly wait for them to finish before you enter. Presumably, it will interrupt all interruptible powers.
So that's what was doing that. Thanks! **makes note to move away from door before porting**

Probably interrupts the Pocket D teleporter, too.

My tastes don't tend to match up with the mass of the populous, not because I'm trying to avoid it, it just is. That said I won't dislike something JUST because it's popular, though. At most it might make me blush a bit as I admit liking it.

    Howard the Duck didn't either.
Ooo, sadly, later he did. The "Sidney" corporation sued him for looking too much like a certain other fowl, and that was one of the compromises. See Howard the Duck Magazine #2 for the satirical treatment and this article by Steven Grant from #8 that was the "real world" version.

I have successfully used Zloth's on this issue. That said, we're only weeks away from a new issue with new graphic stuff, so who knows after that.

Ugh, don't get me started on the costume designer for Charmed. Sooooo many awful stupid outfits. For the love of God they had Phoebe wearing a snood for a whole episode! It's not 1945!

As one who wears heels regularly, often 3 inch ones, you can run in them as long as you shift your weight correctly and mainly run on your toes. There's an art to walking comfortably in heels, and if you want to see women who do it well, watch any fashion show. Those chicks are balancing on their tiptoes.
My ex- was so used to 3-4" heels that if she kicked her shoes off and went out on the dance floor, she was still up on her toes the whole time.
