That problem has been fixed. You can make changes now without corrupting the base.

They're unlikely to put it up today. If they put it up today, and there's something big that they missed in QA (ie. server crashing kinda bug) then they'll have to leave it like that until late next week, because it'll be tuesday before they can start working on it, and then even when they find it and code a fix it'll still have to go through QA, a process that can take a day or three.

It's happened before. But the downside of doing it is that somebody will have to stay around to make sure the server doesn't implode. Lesser bugs can probably wait until next week to fix.

Mhmm, that would be why I said 'something big', and gave a server crashing kind of bug as an example. If they put it up, and that did happen, they're not going to call the appropriate devs in on the holiday weekend to fix it, regardless of who they leave there to hold the fort. They still could do it, which is why I didn't say it was impossible, just merely 'unlikely'. -
>.>....please? Of course, I'm home sick today, so it would be just my luck if they didn't...
-
That really depends on the bug *shrugs* I'm not saying that they -won't- put it up today, I'm just saying it's unlikely.

Known issue. The Arcane version is broken looking too, as is the Pocket D beacon. The art for both beacons are in the files, the game just doesn't point to them for some reason. It'll get fixed eventually, but in the meantime it's nothing you did.
-
They may still be preparing...there may be additional behind the scenes stuff that needs to be done *shrugs* They said that preparation didn't mean they were launching it yet, and gave no timeline as to when it will launch.
-
I'd go ahead and /bug it then, that definitely doesn't sound right.
-
For these issues, it's best to start your own thread, with your CoHHelper and HijackThis each in their own posts in the thread to that it doesn't cut anything off. It's easier for the techies to look things over and make suggestions that way, and it keeps your issue separate from everyone else's so that it can be dealt with individually. I have no suggestions myself though, my hardware setup is totally different, and I haven't had any problems with City and Win 7 myself.

The prompt was there yesterday for me doing a flashback. I don't think they'd take it away for TFs but leave it for Ouro. Maybe it was a momentary glitch? Someone may have to test that...if it changed, it's got to be a bug. It wasn't in any of the patch notes.

For that particular reward, the costume pieces should automatically be available in the Character Creation and Tailor screens, and you should be able to get the costume token by going to your Badges window, going to the Veteran Rewards in the category dropdown, and scrolling down...there should be a button on one of the badges to claim the token.

Nope, not yet. Today's maintenance was just some prep.

I want my badges and Supergroup to function like my enhancements and trays on multiple builds - When I switch to a villain, I lose all my hero badges and stop being a member of the Supergroup. When I switch back to hero, I lose my villain badges and Villain group, but get my hero badges and supergroup back.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's assuming you get to switch multiple times. I would like to be able to do that, but I'm not getting my hopes up about anything. I'll just be disappointed if it's not in GR.

From the FAQ:

Q: If you change over to the opposite alignment, can you change back?
A: Yes.
[/ QUOTE ]
So yes. you'll be able to switch back and forth. -
This is going to be the opening arc of a trilogy (possibly more if they're liked). Each arc will be playable as its own story without needing to play the others, but add a piece to an overall story. Anyways, it's only been lightly tested since the last round of MA changes, so feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Arc Name: Chaotic Melody: Opening Measures
Arc ID: 47117
Alignment: Villain
Creator: @Darkfaith
Length: 4 missions
Recommended Level: Post SOs, not recommended for solo squishies. EB/AVs in 1, 3 and 4.
Summary: The leader of Swords of Anarchy, Terra Silva, needs an unaffiliated villain-for-hire to help her thwart the attempt of a government funded hero agency to bind her powers. -
Eh, I'm not with Charter, and I can't get in either. I'm with Cogeco, up in Ontario Canada

Same for me, East Coast player on Virtue, mapservered and now I can't get back into the west coast servers.

So is i15 actually on test server now, yes or no?

No, not yet. -
I've been running Win 7 since the beta opened up in January....I was never fond of Vista, it didn't run well on some of my lower end systems, but they've sold me on Win 7. I'll be investing in this when it goes to the shelves.
-
Did you accidentally switch to your second build maybe? You can do that at the Trainer.
-
I don't think this is a technical issue that other players can help you with...perhaps you should PM your concerns to one of the Devs? They don't really come in here often, so this is unlikely to be seen by anyone that can address your concern.

*hangs head* also reinstalled tonight....I somehow managed to break Windows Update, among other things (not sure how, between one Windows Defender update and an Live Messenger update things went a little bonkers), and a fresh install was just the least frustrating fix after all the fixes I researched led to dead ends. So, I can say with absolute certainty that the NVidia pre-release drivers are downloaded as an optional in Windows Update, which can be accessed either through the Control Panel or the Action Center.

Which drivers are you running? It seems that at this time, different drivers are required to run different NVidia cards. For instance, I'm running the Win 7 pre-release drivers downloaded through Windows Update without any issues. Some others though have had to use some of the Vista drivers. Also, are you running 32-bit or 64-bit Windows? Was it a clean install, or an upgrade from Vista?
[/ QUOTE ]
The drivers are the ones that came with the download. It's the 64-bit version, and it was a brand new hard drive I installed it on. I tried searching for Windows update drivers, but I haven't found anything.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hmmm, that's odd...unless it's already installed it, but the drivers should come up as an optional update when you open up Windows Update from either the Control Panel or the Action Center. If you right click on your desktop, is there an option for the NVidia Control Panel?
[/ QUOTE ]
I believe that update had to go through the control panel or dev. manager. (Been a bit.)
[/ QUOTE ]
'Twas definitely through Windows Update. Did it last weekend when I was finished experimenting with Vista drivers, none of which worked properly for my particular card lol -

Hm....I never tried installing it to a separate hdd from inside of my other Windows installation. I just booted it from the DVD. That may make the difference....let us know if it doesn't for ya.
