i think the problem here is micommunication.
Stef - Anything i've said about Liz that could be construed as insulting was actually me messing around. In the same kind of way that when people make jokes about dark 'loving' corpses, i dont take offence to it. Or when people make jokes about Sameris age. I know people were only messing around, and everyone's been involved in one type of 'insult' to Dark minimum.
I find that when people want to insult the player, they insult the player or the way they play. All i can see on this thread is people messing about, making fun of each others characters in a way that friends do.
Just hope all of this gets sorted as soon as possible. -
im sure either way it'll make nice little splat marks.
Besides, the heros get shot, stabbed, burned and chewed daily... why can't they use real guns? O.o -

I love the way people seem to think Jared pays no attention. It makes it SO much easier to make people feel bad about not telling him. -
Dark has killed, he's definately not proud of it.
even when he killed Abyss/Light Stone something just felt completely wrong about it (ASIDE from the fact he killed himself, i mean).
If Dark knew that people were willingly killing criminals willy nilly, he'd definately have something to 'Say' about it. And despite not killing he can still be incredibly violint.

I am, and allways will be, an action RP fan.
I want to play the hero who lays out an entire room of villans, flips the bird to a security camera then passes out.
I want to play the villan that beats down the superhero, kidnaps his girlfriend, laughs and teleports away.
I want to be the knight who defeats the dragon, the werewolf who lays the smack down on the wyrm's minions, the wraith who'll cross the shroud -just- to punish someone who'se done something really evil.
Non action orientated RP is kinda a hit and miss for me, sometimes i enjoy it, sometimes i dont. This is generally due to the fact i have a lot of problems with putting 2 and 2 together in most situations. Thats why i enjoy RP missions alot more... to be honest, given a chance thats what i'd be doing most of the time.
Thats just a personal preference though, i dont expect people to think the same way as i do, especially with the little gem i'm about to show you guys.
Alot of people know i have somewhat of an attitude problem when it comes to new roleplayers. Why? its easy, Roleplay is somewhat of a religious experience for me, I find it Cathartic. So i do get selfish when it comes to RP, and if theres even an inkling someone might spoil it i get nasty and abrasive - I'm sure you've all seen me doing it. A couple of you are kind enough to tell me when i've gone too far.
Just to further clarify... i don't hate the new people at the statue, its just that i'm more likely to get irritated by them. Don't worry, im sure it'll pass :P
GG is changing. Old players want to try new characters, new characters need levelling up and for all those people with jobs that means cutting into GG time, because thats the only time they have, really. I for one am not an amazingly huge fan of Pocket D. i have 2 characters that go there... and they're both villans. My heros wouldn't want to accosiate with a villan in an environment thats supposed to be 'fun and relaxing'. The only reason i go to pocket D most of the time is because i want to RP with my villans and no-ones up for a mission.
I think i just lost track of what i was getting at *scratches head*
Dark will allways end up back at GG. Its fun to play 'connect the characters' (IE: make connections between them) and GG is a great place just to make a new character and try something different.
