Happens on both IE8 and Firefox, and the only add-on I have on either of them is my AVG Identity Guard. However, I can stay logged into other forums almost endlessly without the same thing happening there, and prior to a certain point, it was not an issue on these forums for me.

There are quite a few still missing...

1) The power struggle in Cimerora - just because we stomp on Romulus in the ITF, we still have Daedalus and Sister Airlia moving and countermoving each other for some greater purpose.

2) The Fifth Column and Reichsman - okay they're back... now what? (Plus the subthreads of who's defecting from which sides)

3) The Lost Cure discovered in I-12... but mass production still hasn't happened, and we still have Lost.

4) The ENTIRE Shiva story arc... we have Bloody Bay and the meteorite. Do we ever find out what they are?

5) Ms Liberty and Longbow vs Arachnos... that's gotta come to a head eventually.

6) Dark Astoria. Nuff said.

7) Crey's ultimate plans, especially in light of the Revenant Hero Project.

8) The Leviathan under Sharkhead. IT'S ALIIIIIIIVE!

These are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head, but when you troll through the in-game lore (the Paragon Wiki is great for that), there's so much there that could be used. *sighs*

That or they need at least three fire blasters/controllers casting Rain of Fire or somesuch on the lake to melt it.

And what would be great is an iceskating emote a la Ninja Run or the Prestige slides. Unlockable with candy canes!

The in-game tell was "yes, your arc's been played."

I know my arc was one of the last ones submitted, and I got my in-game tell yesterday or the day before (my brain is kinda fuzzy on the details and I don't log my chats). So if you HAVEN'T gotten your in-game tell, you may want to PM Dr. Aeon directly (and include the date/time of your email submitting your entry), and he should be able to verify things from there.

Go to your profile (USER CP, near the top left it'll have the option "View Profile").

(On the left also is "Edit Options" - enabling Visitor Messages is about 2/3 down the list, IIRC.)

I had mine turned off for a while because I get enough "ur videos suk" messages via YouTube, I didn't want them cluttering up my profile. I finally turned it back on again.

Strange... then again, it may take a full shutdown and restart to update your registry, which is what the live/test synch was meant to do. That's where demofiles pull their graphics settings from.

If you can open a command prompt, try this...

Navigate to your City of Heroes directory (usually in Program files):

C:\Program Files\City of Heroes>

Then type:

cityofheroes –project –demoplay WHATEVERYOURDEMOFILENAMEIS –demohidenames –demohidechat –demohidedamage

It will temporarily resize your display, and you'll see both the resized prompt window plus COH running in the background. Let it run... it should then play your file back in Ultra Mode (I just tested it on my machine - then again I run XP not Windows 7).

Okay - you'll want to make sure they are the same. Then restart your computer, and try to launch your demo file again, Let me know what happens after that.
