There's a great blink-and-you'll-miss-it little reference for him in the Theatrical trailer... see if you can spot his coffee mug.

And yes, Q is definitely squee-worthy. Young, British, tech savvy, and hot. Though Daniel Craig and Ralph Fiennes are certainly easy on the eyes as well.

Clearly, I need to go get my Seer resistant tinfoil hat reinforced some more.
Actually, I have a script plotted out for using "Uprising" for Praetoria. It's on my list of 50 videos to make for this game.

I'd have to see if I still have my list somewhere, where I went thru the ParagonWiki, and tallied up all the arcs by level range to find where we needed more content.

  8. I loved the Resistance Warden arc.

I also loved Jenni Adair's arc - when Tava realized her other self was sacrificing herself, I was actually shouting, "NONONONONO!" and racing as fast as I could to try and save her.

  9. *sighs* I wouldn't even know where to begin. I could make a case for virtually every zone in the game, and almost every level.

    *brightens*

There's a challenge... give me a zone and I'll offer a suggestion of a story arc or TF for it.

  11. Arc #551680 - Clerical Errors

Due to a clerical error, the Back Alley Brawler's membership in the Freedom Phalanx is invalid. Help BAB overcome the evils of bureaucracy to regain his FP status! (Very tongue in cheek, but great fun!)

    *****

This arc, despite being five missions, is an absolute cakewalk. I had a lot of fun writing it, and feedback is always appreciated!

This - the filming possibilities for me are endless.

CRAP... I need to get a group who's willing to start one of these just so I can film in the lobby for a while. This would be so cool as the start of CoVIDEOHELL.

  14. As I listen to this, the first thing that comes to mind?

The destruction of Galaxy City. This is the music I hear as I imagine those time-slows-to-a-crawl moments...

Civilians are crying, screaming, panicking, praying...
Buildings are coming down all around...
The Shivans are swarming through the streets...
Meteors are raining down from the sky...
Some heroes are trying to shepherd the civilians to safety...
Others pulling people from the wreckage...
Still others are fighting a losing battle against the Shivans...
    And still more are dying...
The PPD and SWAT teams are manning the gates in the War Walls...
Civilians from other zones are trying to get in, searching and calling for loved ones...
    The gates are closing...
    And then...
All you can see through the War Walls is smoke and wreckage...
    And the screaming has stopped.

Seconded. Some of my favorite storyline arcs are older ones (the Library of Soul and the Revenant Hero Project, to name but two), and although their actual implementation leaves a LOT to be desired, I thought the concepts behind them were spiffy. If part of I-24 included a 'tightening up' of some of the earlier arcs (ditch the unnecessary FedEx mishes, have a few flow into one another a la the Positron TF, etc), I'd be a very happy camper.

  16. The devs and community mods are quite cool. And it's not just 'talking to the playerbase as a whole' that sets them apart. They talk to us as individuals as well (via Coffee Talks, Freedom Fridays, Twitter comments, Google+ hangouts, and the random PM).

Speaking of which... when's the next Pummit, Zwill?

To clarify the whole "stealth" issue:

    Rikti Invasion Mechanics

To re-affirm Dark Watcher's statement regarding stealth:

"Stealth powers have no effect on the Rikti's ability to select a Hero or Villain as a target and their counting scanners for determing threat levels are likewise not affected by stealth."

Sure - it works like this. (And looks like THIS.)

When the invasion starts, the sky goes green, the War Walls come down, and the sirens start blaring. All the mobs on the street disappear.

About a minute or two later, a series of Rikti dropships begin flying through the zone, bombing everything in their path. Some bombs explode on impact, others sit delayed. You get a badge for blowing up the delayed ones.

That lasts about 5 minutes. Then waves of Rikti (based on the # of heroes in the zone) begin teleporting in AROUND you. For crowd control, this is why heroes/villains tend to gather in one spot. AoE is your friend. The more in one zone, the better the chance that the invaders will bust out the Heavy Armored Assault Suits (you get a badge for those as well).

Eventually the Walls come back up and they teleport away.

When you attack, they are automatically ranged to your level, so EVERYONE is on an equal playing field. This is a great chance for healing badges, debt badges, inf, prestige, etc.

If you're in a high populated server that's REALLY feeling motivated, you can put together a dropship team and go to town.
