So do I, and they are easily owned by 2 peeps, but you simply lack the damage to do it with an Illu/Rad. Now if you bring a blaster or a fire/kin with you, they won't last 2 minutes
-
Ty guys, appreciated. Just a question, what about mass confussion for trollers/masterminds/zones?
-
It went quite smooth, despite the fact that the TF is reaaaaaally boring :P
-
Definately Fire or Illu as primaries, and kin or rad (or TA as a 3rd choice) as secondaries then
-
... Because in terms of damage nothing can compare to /EM :P (although keep in mind it's a late bloomer)
-
Yup with no recharges its always recharged before the previous one fades away
-
And I got to say Fire/Kin not only coutdamages any blaster dmg, but also does very well in pvp
-
Recently I have been asked for advice by an SG mate for a mind/storm pvp build. Since I have never tried mind myself, I thought it'd be better if I asked for it on the forums, and besides I'd learn a bit of it too
So don't be shy ^^ any hints/tips/builds welcome -
Errm btw what server will it be? Can't seem to find it... or is it TS?
-
Well if by any reason you dont want to pick primal for that toon, go ice, it's the second best imo. Btw power boost affects only powers when it's up, or the ones cast during PB? I mean, frozen armor for instance, you use PB and toggle it on. Is it boosted only while PB is up or until it's detoggled as it was used while PB was on?
-
I'd pick primal forces I think, but ice as a second choice.
With PB you can boost not only the -acc debuffs, but also the slows, the heals from aid self, fear from ST and the hold duration. With CP your end problems should be a lot better. Armor is dmg resist and blast.. well blast is the weak point of this epics imo.
So my choice would be primal>ice>psi>fire for pvp with an illu/storm -
Not only for the +percep but also for squishies getting armors which makes the AS+quick follow up (or bonesmasher +TF in EM/ ones) not enough to get a kill
-
Stalkers are seriously over-rated, full stop :P

Count me in but... 7 pm BST? what time is it GMT? :-s

Couldn't agree more here. There's never been restrictions in defiant (we have been 200+ heroes at a time) and we still do quite good. Lag is a pain, but not a complete impediment imo

[True, but TF also takes a long time to activate. You can get frozen fists, ice sword and another attack out in the same time - all whilst stood on the saftey of an ice patch with chilling embrace running - which all give -speed, -recharge and CE gives -DMG.

Altough you could in PvE, chances are you wouldnt in PvP, as it's not standing fighting. With /ener you can run towards your opponent pressing "follow", and with TF pressed, jump in the very last second. The long animation will be done while you jump away to a safe place, enabling you to blast him while you run to him again to repeat the proccess (or bonesmasher if TF is still recharging) -
But then again compare ice sword to total focus :-s. If it's for the mez, all the melee attacks in /ener do stun also
-
If it's sc you wanted to PvP in, /sr would be a better secondary IMHO... and for lv50 also in many cases

You do NOT, I repeat, do NOT build a rad without RI and EF. Really, you need them.

Same goes for LR, those 3 powers are the reason why rad is so uber, with AM one step behind -
Errm afaik, slotting range would only enable you to cast the ST further, but the fear cone remains the same length
