Quote:Kinda doubt it since Support is a team-wide buff and having a single player able to 7x-stack buffs on their own would be completely broken.Do the hybrid get passed through pets like the others? I mean having Melee on every MM pet with the res+def+regen buff would be kind of gdlk.
They're just powers, not enhancements. Note that Judgement, Lore and Destiny do NOT get passed on to pets. -
Idea Improvement: rework the Rikti Invasion zone event so that it culminates in fighting a larger dropship (or maybe use smaller ships for the actual bomb drop phase and save the current model for the finale), sort of along the lines of the Seed of Hamidon. Use the APB to grant everyone in zone a temp flight power (Rikti jetpack why not???). Naturally, tie a badge into defeating the final ship.

Although the game is guilty of assuming things of player characters in plenty of places, this is clearly not one of them. You're a fledgling hero when Twinshot addresses you, it makes perfect sense for her to call you kiddo. (Mind you, this is still pretty awful and really borderline insulting writing, and actually makes Twinshot a less likeable character than Statesman, but that's beside the point.)
Fortunately, the devs seem like they've started to realize this and have inserted exceptions into dialogue, WWD7 being a good example (Lady Grey casting a spell so you can breathe in space, unless you don't actually need to in which case never mind I guess). -

Like I said, technology is just applied science. If the science is more important to who/what your character is, then their origin can be Science.

Quote:In the three half-Issue releases we've had, none of them have ever contained powersets. Now with the Paragon Market in place, it's hard to imagine this will ever happen.Man can yo imagine if all these new powersets come out as the .5 release....
Quote:Because of some of the specifics that nobody would have known to look for from the hints and teases for weeks on end about both Psi Melee and Water control.
Those hints and teases included nothing about a new Prowler Form shifting AT nor the Absorb mechanic used by Symbiotic armor etc....that is the kind of thing that comes straight from the horses mouth. -
Yeah, it really does depend. My main villain is a quantum computer housed in a robotic body, so it could arguably be Science origin, but I chose Tech because, well, robot.
Really any robot is a creation of science, technology is just applied science. -
Quote:The versions Penny uses are linkable, at least. Keep in mind that the powersets NPCs use are not the same as the ones we use, even if the animations, name and effects are the same.I would imagine that some of the Psi Melee things should be linkable on live, seeing as it does appear that P.Yin is using the powerset.
Quote:While I agree that betas could use a lot more focus (and better understanding/attitude) than these completely open ones...
I really cannot blame anybody for talking about the exciting finds.
Honestly, and maybe this is just my nature, I only really find fault with the people who can't properly handle this type of leaked information beyond simply seeing it, recognizing that it is spiffy and moving on and patiently waiting for the day that we might learn more. -

Takes place after The Magesterium, of course. Tyrant is defeated, but the Incarnates were fools to believe he was the greatest evil around. Now the embodiment of Pandora threatens to unleash all great evils upon the world, regardless of whether or not the world is ready for them.
Stage 1 begins with a simple tank 'n spank of Pandora, a level 54+4 AV. When she gets down to half HP, she begins to summon adds of existing and new enemy groups, all of which we've been informed of ahead of the trial via cutscene and/or captions and/or the trial window. According to the cutscene/captions/trial window, defeating these adds and then Pandora herself will complete the trial.
Stage 2 is where it gets interesting. Before the adds have even been cleared, the Vessel of Pandora opens, releasing everything contained within. This stage is not revealed to the league ahead of time.
The first wave consists of new enemy groups using never-before-seen powersets, like X Melee, Y Control, and Z Blast. The league leader will get a temp power that summons Prometheus to clear the adds as you continue to take down Pandora, but using the power will double the size of the next group of adds.
The second wave consists of enemy groups using never-before-seen body types and/or archetypes. The league leader gets a temp power that will summon reinforcements that fight alongside the league, but using this power will triple the size of the next group of adds.
The final stage opens the Paragon Market window, revealing all of this new content available for purchase. Purchasing any of them will cause the trial to fail.
Disclaimer: The above post was entirely tongue-in-cheek and may not have actually been funny. -

I have made my feelings abundantly clear in the video's comments section.

This is an excellent idea but something tells me the devs wouldn't be too keen on emphasizing non-TF/trial legacy content.

The first thing I thought of when I saw these was that episode of TNG where everyone on the Enterprise sans Wesley Crusher and Lt. Ashley Judd (and even her eventually) became addicted to this virtual reality game that beams directly into your eyeballs.

I'm not sure the devs entirely agree with you.

Power branching is built into the SoA archetype, it may very well be impossible to implement it for a single powerset in another archetype.

I don't think Psychic Armor makes much sense, do you?
