Quote:I don't know about anyone else, but my codes were definitely identified, all laid out in a nice little table with the description for each code above it. That might vary depending on the community rep who sent them, though; I got mine from Avatea. I don't know for sure, but from what I've read if you apply a code for a costume that you already have on that account, I believe the code is just wasted (i.e., it's still applied to the account, but since the thing that it unlocks is already unlocked, it does nothing).Oh snap, I didn't even think about the possibility that they wouldn't identify the codes! I already have the PPD code on my account, so was going to give that one to a friend who recently helped me Set-IO the character who won me the contest. Uh oh!
So what happens if I apply a code to my account that already exists on the account? I really want to be able to send that code to Walleye! ;_;
Re: GMan3 -- I'm not going to continue this conversation if you're going to dismiss all the changes that have been made to the game as bad. Clearly the devs must have done something right in the past 3 years if you're still playing.
Quote:Oh and BTW DarkGob, though I disagree with you, that was one heck of a list you came up with. -
Quote:Relative to when? Since the split with Cryptic? Wellllll.....But how much of the game is new? New zones? Not all that much different really. New maps? Kinda. New missions? A few. What is truly different though, how has the game grown?

Yeah, the game clearly stagnated before Champs came out and is clearly stagnating now with a huge boost in server activity.

Good grief, [****************].
*The remainder of this post has been redacted to avoid the modhammer. -
Got my codes from Avatea less than a hour ago. Dunno what the hold up was (although I tend to agree it was probably a marketing thing) but I no longer care because I am now able to fully realize two character concepts. Totally worth the wait!

Maybe it spreads like a fungus, all you'd have to do is spray it on your shoulders and sides and it would spread over to form in the back.

Quote:I know it varies based on the interpretation, but doesn't a lot of his tech come from prototypes invented by other people within Wayne Enterprises? Certainly this is the case with TAS/Beyond and Begins.People would disagree with me, and I would hear their arguments while giving my own......but where is Batman?
Anyone who can use materials to have a high tech suit still be considered to be state of the art 20 years later (Batman Beyond) deserves mention, even if it isn't his primary profession. -
Scotty didn't invent the whale tank, he built one -- big difference. He did invent transparent aluminum, but only from the perspective of 1986; from Scotty's frame of reference, it already existed.

Quote:You just described Cimerora. The only way I could see this being the least bit feasible is through a time portal, and even still someone with superpowers would easily be able to take over the world or kill all the villains in a month. Doesn't seem very fun to me.

Oh god, SOMEBODY STOP THEM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
-
Yeah, it was pretty clearly designed by a person with no body hair.
-
So...basically it's Farmville only in Paragon City? (In before "Paragon is already Farmville hurf durr".)
Ick. I'm very wary about anything that involves social media. Don't think I want to see dev time wasted on this nonsense.
I would also politely point out that you may have posted this in the wrong subforum, although an argument could be made for it belonging here. -
Misdirected mission door. Been happening with AE since it was first released, and has been happening with Praetoria since Going Rogue was released.
-
Yes, these powers have alternate animations. Storm Kikc->Gut Punch, Crippling Axe Kick->Haymaker, Assassin's Blow->Fist of Annihilation (best name ever!).

It's a pretty typical feature of any command line. It's also a feature of mIRC, and I think Pidgin if you do Shift+Up or Ctrl+Up or something.

Quote:bawwwww my free prize is delayedUm ... Avatea? It's been a few days. How long would you like us to wait? Another week? Would you be able to explain the holdup (so as to counter any conspiracy theorizing in advance)?
Signed,
A fellow costume contest winner
P.S. Seriously, just be patient. We'll get them eventually. -
Don't judge by this incredibly disappointing subforum, the global channel PinnBadges is still alive and kicking. Join it if you haven't, it's practically a SG unto itself. As far as actual SGs go, there are quite a few who I'm sure would be interested in a new member.

I made this same suggestion a few weeks ago and I stand by it. The original isn't even designed that well (why hello legacy content).

It's a crummy thing to do but it's not griefing. Just forget about it and move on. You can't police stupid.
-
You can petition for anything you want, the question is whether or not it's a waste of your time and a GM's time. This sounds like griefing, but it's awfully hard to prove or even tell. For all you know, someone else happened to be at the guy's computer while he wasn't and logged him off (probably not, but can you prove this wasn't the case?).
Petition if you feel the need to, but I doubt much would come of it. -
It's definitely going to be a headache revising some of my builds, but I have some where the extra power slots are more than welcome.

Had the same thing when I turned villain yesterday.
