long patch for me, thnx to my current connection.. but.. after much waiting.. it told me it was 99%. Looking at the ticker reach 100% 2511.1Mb downloaded, i was waiting for the game to launch.. but... the MB's kept going... at a point i was at 2800Mb downloaded, and going.
Someone told me to exit, open the launcher again and it would be fixed.
When i did that, the update started back at 0%!
So what happened to the 2511.1MB i downloaded?!

Nobody is forcing you to play this powerset, they are just throwing out an idea. And to be honest, i kinda like the idea. It would be a big pain in the behind while on a cave map, and of course the limitations, but hey, i give a 10 for effort and originality.
I present an alternative for the dragon lovers:
Purchasable travel power like Ninja Run, Beast Run, Jump Pack and Rocket Board... A mid sized dragon.
One that when summoned, swoops from the sky, grabs you in his mouth to fling u on his back. -
We did Keyes in about 25 minutes!
Granted, that whole group did well over 40 runs together, and we were on Ventrilo.
We had League leader call out 5sec before the beam, so we could all stop attacking and get ready to move.
We had one calling out if the terminals were done, and what floor next.
It's not that hard when u really put some effort into it.
Granted, on a pug team, not on vent, will make life harder, but i love Keyes, we love Keyes.. It makes us really WORK!
Only thing i would do different? When time stops, stop the timer for the beam too! We had it a few times that the time froze, and a few seconds later the beam hits us, while we are still frozen. Yes, they should award the Bunker Buster badge right away, and the Alpha and Beta entanglement is something that is a little much, but overall, i say keep as is.
Things WE can do to make it easier:
-Make the Beam Target easier to see: Change rebirth to black/black. This will almost make is see through.
-Lessen the damage of the Pulse: Have a Tank taunt A-M, and have an Empath help/heal the tank. This way A-M will not take damage and the pulse will not cause more damage to us. We had it on most runs that A-M was at 97-100% when we were on 3rd Reactor.
-Disintegration: Have people make binds, "Blaster T3 Disintegrating!" will help look for name and AT in League window, and will let EVERYONE know who to heal.
-MoKeyes? All the above, and get on Vent to make communication easier.
Yes, there is a whole lot going on, makes people crazy, but hey we finally have something difficult, and people complain. :/ -

I think the numbers (5-10%) are a little on the low side.
I agree that they are not much higher, but imo, that's because most are on Freedom or spread across the server.
I'm trying to get a SG PvP team, one of my members went to Freedom to train and upgrade his toon, and now he's gone MIA and trying to get me to play on Freedom, since most PvP players are there.
I think it would be a good thing to have a zone where all servers link to to PvP.
Regarding the level issues i hear, i'm glad i have people talking about that, makes me and others think of solutions to this.
One i have regarding the 'attack, get on lowbie team for safety' tactic:
Only be able to get on teams in u'r level range, same as u'r attack range.
Say, a level 25 toon, can attack any toon level 20-30, and only join a team that would make him level 20-30.
Or, once u attack someone, no matter if u jump on a lowbie team yes or no, the toon u attacked will always be able to attack u.
Example:
Player A, lvl 25, attacks player B who is level 30. Player A goes on player C's 5 person team making him level 20. Player B can still attack Player A, but not the rest of the team, and because they are not in level range, they can not attack player B either.
Anyone with ideas, please chime in. -
I brought my Crab Spider to Beta Server and got enough tokens to get the CoV Pre-Order VEAT Helmets. Went to a tailor to change an outfit, and guess what?! The Crab/Bane helmet....... has glowing eyes!
So, if it's possible to make those eyes glow, why isn't it possible to make the VEAT costume have glowing eyes?
So, in a nutshell:
NPC Crabs and Banes have glowing eyes,
Arachnos Lore pet bane has glowing eyes,
CoV Pre-Order VEAT helmets have glowing eyes,
Arachnos Soldier/Huntsman helmet has glowing eyes.
All but the VEAT version doesn't have glowing eyes?
Seems like the tech/coding is there to make it work. -
I see people worried about the 'Stay your current level' part, and i totally understand that.
But see it this way:
Most PvP players have honor, and if you asked to be left alone, ask to fight around your own level, you will be respected.
You are not alone in there, and there are more people who fight with honor, than there are who just wanna rip the lowbie. Meaning, there will always be people in that zone to put that person in place. See i as a form of primal justice.
This idea will allow people to fight matches at any level, making it a little more fun.
Also..
I have proven in the past that level matters, but knowing your toon matters more.
My Tank, at level 35 went into the Arena against a lvl 50 Scrapper.
I played my toon, the other toon was PL'd... Guess who won?
I have seen the suggestion if fighting max 5 levels below to max 5 levels above your current level. This can be set as an option to even the playing field if needed.
Also, to be honest, i do not want to see toons get the same PvP layer as other PvP zones. Just make it a PvP zone to get the PvP bonuses, but keep the PvE zone type.
I hate that toons get nerfed way diff in a PvP zone compared to a PvE zone, and they should not change it when entering 'Death Valley'.
My Elec/NRG blaster has no issues with endurance in PvE, yet he does in PvP zones, and i hate that nerf. And i know most of you know more of these nerfs to your toons you hate.
But this is just my opinion tho. -

To know that this bug has been here for years, and still is here, and since it's, to my knowledge, not been addressed by anyone, it looks they are just ignoring it.
It would be best for all of us to have a red name give us their side of the story, so we KNOW what's going on, and not have people who think they know more than others try and place words in other peoples mouth.
And about your SNL comparison, that is not fully true now is it? I did suggest something, didn't i?
So, my request, please stop with the meaningless post you are posting.
Assuming this, he said that, i think he thinks.. it's all nice, but isn't constructive and doesn't add to this thread.
Your MM problem is valid, i suggest you put the time and effort into that, instead of something, as you said yourself, have no problem with. -

I just listed the things they did in the time i have been playing, yet that there are still bugs that affect game play, and notably this one thanks to the WST, in the game.
I just find it weird that this has never been tackled by anyone of the team. -

I never talked about the size of their team, just the fact that after years, new issues, a new world, etc, etc, this issue still hasn't been fixed.
If it is indeed not to be fixed, there is a fix for that too: Start over.
Just delete the last mission. Replace it with a map that does work, and make the same objectives and such, problem solved. -

Make it so that anyone can team up with anyone. Example: 2 Heroes, 2 Villains and such on the same team. And anyone can attack anyone, like in Warburg, but have no missions in there at all, just PvP.
Now, the problem most people have is that some servers have less people that like PvP then others. To get around this problem, make this new zone, just one zone, and have anyone from any server go to the same map.
This will also be useful when PvP matches are held, and either the Test server is not usable, or people don't have/want the test server.
Basically making each server a different version of Primal earth and Praetoria.

Add home server name to the toon name. Example: Guardian: Nephila, Freedom: Nephila. This way everyone can see what home server people are from. (if anyone has any ideas regarding this, feel free to add them.)
I think this will catch on, and instead of players having to move their toons across servers to settle a 1vs1 argument and therefor losing all prestige earned, we can just stay in our SG/VG, stay on our home server, not worry about losing our toon's name in the time we are gone, and open up PvP for more people.
Yes, there will always be people who will attack the lowbie toon, but, that lowbie toon can call his friends for help, and hey.. we have a good fight!
I have heard in other games it possible to have inter-server maps/missions/teams and such, so it is possible.
Just make this map extra large, simulate Death Valley, CA, this will make the landscape very diverse. -

Yup, i love my Crab, and to be honest, it is one of the better ones around and the best toon i have, closely followed by my SS/WP Tank.
I rarely saw them, till i focused and finished mine. Now they are crawling out the woodwork asking for tips.
My HP is 1517, and with serum it's well over 2k HP.
Going on point...
We have natural leadership pool, plus we can take that power pool too, meaning we have dual Leadership, and can get our perception up pretty high.
I've seen stalkers, i have fought Stalkers in RV.
Best way to get past the Placate, use AoE attacks like Omega Maneuver and Frenzy, if you're solo. If they are in a team, position yourself so that the stalker is taking damage from your AoE powers like Suppression and Venom Grenade too.

It's not the fault of the team members, the people in charge are to blame for not placing someone on this.

If they can give the warehouse maps a makeover, they could have done that with this specific room.
And that others rather see new content come out, and ignore the broken things, relate that back to when u were a kid.
Kid get's new toy, but toy is broken. So parents give kid more new toys so kid forgets about broken toy, but kid still wants to play with broken toy once in a while, and remembers that it's broken when he plays with it again.
Just because we get new stuff, doesn't mean it's ok to leave other stuff bugged. -

It's been like that for years, the fact that it's still not resolved is either laziness, contentedness, incompetence, ignorance from one or more people or something else.
Fact of the matter is that the one in charge of the game should have stepped up and opened his or her mouth and placed the right people on this too fix.
In all sports the players are the ones on the field making the mistakes, but the coach is always the one blamed. He is supposed to make sure that everyone knows what to do, and work as a team. Same here, the person highest in the chain of command should have made sure that within a certain amount of time this would be fixed.
But hey, it's not like it's a Signature Arc, right? -

Great pictures regarding what SHOULD be possible to do with VEAT armor.
Also, BaB's reply regarding this issue dated in 2009, yes 2009!, that it's impossible to get glowing eyes on Crab/Bane helmets is, well, silly.
Huntsman Soldiers have glowing eyes in their helmets, no matter the size. So if it's possible with those helmets, it's possible with the CRab/Bane helmets too. -
I read the link, and yes, if they knew about this issue since 2009 why hasn't anyone really taken the time to try and fix this?
@Coolio's pictures regarding the cape, and even the two toned gloves are just amazing(ly simple). It's possible to simply edit the code and make people happy.
And if they can get the glowing eyes on the huntsman helmets, don't tell me they can not figure out how to put them on the Crab/Bane helmets! -
Arachnos Soldiers have 8 eyes, not 2.
And with the helmet, it just doesn't look right, at all.

I even checked the Arachnos Lore Bane, and EVEN he has glowing eyes.
I also asked around on my home server, and people didn't notice it without me telling them, bit they too think it's unfair and want it fixed.
The outfit is just not complete without the glowing eyes.
Please, Tunnel Rat or anyone out there, could you please make our outfits complete, drop your two cents in this post or explain to us why we can not have glowing eyes?
Also, could the female Soldiers have a female VEAT outfit, and not just the Huntsman outfit, a regular VEAT (Crab/Bane) outfit. In times like these, we still have a form of discrimination against a female in uniform? :P -
Why don't Crab Spider VEATs have glowing eyes?
When Beastyle was on Guardian server he looked at me and even he said this was odd.
I didn't check the Bane versions, but the Huntsman have glowing eyes.
ALL NPC Spiders have glowing eyes, and i want them on my Crab!
Red, or secondary color, or even a special option to have it separate, i really don't care, i just want my glowing eyes!

My Crab on Guardian called Nephila, never had pets.
25Bill build, team orientated, 4 purple sets, 4 PvP sets.
Tanked A-M during a Keyes run, with a fender on me just like the tanks get.
Went in solo to get nades during Lambda, 0 deaths while the 8 man team had 3 wipes.
Can solo a door on BAF with my T4 Arachnos Lore.
Spider pets? When u'r on a team, u don't need them.
Teams like buffs, and that's what i do :P
But.. i agree with most posts. It's all personal preference!
SoA's are so versatile, it's awesome! Can go 3 ways, Huntsman, Bane or Crab. And even in those we have choices. I love my Crab, best toon i have.
But my Crab will not be for everyone, just like those pets are not for me.
