  1. As far as I know the repeatable Warwolf Whistle has 3 charges vs the 5 for the first time completion. I could be wrong on the amount but the only difference between the two is the charges available.

    As everyone knows, temp pets can do wonders for squishie survivability solo, and thus are quite useful. So, I'm not quite convinced this isn't too good an offering for a rm-purchasable power. Unless Backup Radio (unlimited and rm-free) does summon a better pets on average (I really didn't check BU radio seriously yet, so I don't know.)

    So, what everyone thinks?
    Goes to Ouroborous, Selects Stephanie Peebles arc, completes it, Gets Temp Wolf Whistle Power.(I could be mistaken on the contact but the idea is the same)

    I've actually seen this in an RPG game. One Character had a spell tree with a move called Doppleganger. Doppleganger had an upgrade that let it use the same spell tree. So naturally Doppleganger went and summoned another one.
    As a bonus if the character died while Doppleganger was out Doppleganger would become the character.


    Now then Carp Melee/Armor should obviously be exclusive to Tankers and Stalkers for thematic reasons.

    While I understand this desire I can't agree with it ever. Too much struggling and bad blood throughout the history of the PPP's. It took Redsiders close to 3 years to get the PPP's into the state they're in. As a part of that effort I can't support removing the unlock.

    However I can support an additional way to unlock them.
  7. Well your Elec/Nin which is one of the best if not THE BEST combos available to Stalkers.

    The point of Stalkers is the controlled crits.

    As for your Elec/Nin Lightning Rod will not break hide, this lets you follow up with Thunderstrike (which has a guaranteed crit on the targeted mob) this lets you nuke a spawn without any problems.
  8. haven't tested this for myself, but I think so since use of the power brings up a zone selection menu similar to the Base Portal and the Market Teleporter,which do work inside instances.
  9. I understand your anger Test Rat but spreading misinformation doesn't help. In fact it probably makes things worse cause then people play that way, the devs see them playing that way and then balance based off of people playing that way.


    To the OP as a Stalker you have no reason to be standing around doing nothing for 8 seconds. A while back the Stalker AT got some changes made so they have an automatic 10% chance to crit when not hidden, that can go as high as 33% when 7 teammates are within 30ft. Now thin about how many attacks you can land within 8 seconds. Now think about those attacks criting 10% pf the time. Finally think about those attacks criting 33% of the time.

    Now do you really want to stand around waiting for 8 secs? didn't think so.

    As for Hide,AS,Placate becoming inherant powers it's been discussed before, devs decided against it.
  10. No no no, clearly that is the primary form of community service punishments given out to metahumans.

    Judge sentences a meta to 20 hours wheelchair carrying service.

    They literally stand near those buildings and carry any handicapped people up and down the stairs as needed.

    The Patron Arcs grant a badge unique to the Patron in question. in Fact said badges were tied to the pools themselves. That's why initially it was impossible to Respec Patron Pools.

    So Hero patron Arcs shouldn't get some spiffy unique title they should get a badge same as the Villain Arcs do.

    It's in the game now. I think all powers that functioned by granting enemies a temp power they have to use immediately were changed to always work.

    Scrapyard Spawns when 100 Scrapyarders are killed

    Caleb spawns when 100 Spectral Demons have been killed.


    In fat the only Redsdie GM that can't be spawned is the Arachnos Flier, incidentally it's also the hardest one to get(though it was incredibly bugged when Grandville was released)

    Cloak of Fear has some interesting options with IO's in the mix.

    And Now I have a strong desire to roll up a /DA something. Any suggestions for seeing my foes driven before me?

    Nope Trapdoor most certainly is not the weakest AV in the game. That distinction belongs to those chumps in Death From Below. After them I'd say Hopkins is on the weak side and then I'd put Trapdoor.

    his gimmick actually does add significant challenge to the fight making him a stronger AV then the others I've listed.
  18. If Stalkers are supposed to be Melee blasters why do the devs keep adding things that make it obvious to compare Stalkers with Scrappers?

    Now granted when CoV launched Stalkers might have been designed to fit that role, however the game has changed a lot since then and Stalkers as melee Blasters seems less appropriate.
  19. Looking this over you propose it as a Controller Primary, however the effects are more suited to a Controller Secondary.

    Controller Primary Powers are Controls (Immobilize,Holds,Sleeps,Stuns etc.)

    Controller Secondaries are Buff/Debuff (+/- Res,Def,Dam,Acc etc.)

    Now with that in mind the set is interesting, however as a general rule Buff/Debuff Sets do not do lots of damage the way you want this set to.

    I do like the concept though.

    So far I'm enjoying my Kin/Ice.

    Currently level 19 and loving it, though I skipped Hoarfrost and I'm not sure about Chilling Embrace.

    Can any of you tell me how important those powers are?
  24. Always capped and never getting hit Stalker Assassins Strike w/ crit is the strongest ST attack available to players. Preferably DM for the Negative Energy damage which is resisted less often than other types.
