Currently Recruiting: S.C.O.R.P.I.O. is always looking for good people.

RP Level: Moderate to Heavy.

PvP Level: Nada. Zip. Zero. ....so far.

Theme/Concept: S.C.O.R.P.I.O. (Strategic Command Objective for Research, Protection and Interdictive Operations)
is an extra-governmental intelligence and security organization formed to meet the rising storm of exceptional threats beyond the usual scope of normal law enforcement and military forces. SCORPIO is dedicated to protecting the nations and peoples of Earth from terrorists and all technologically-advanced, extraterrestrial, psionic, superhuman, occult, paranormal and supernatural menaces, and often assists such organizations as Alpha Watch and The Cerulean Legion in apprehending threats to national security and world peace.
- Consisting of 4 specialized divisions and one soloist/recruit division for the sake of multiple themes and styles of play.
- Inspired by: SHIELD, The Ultimates, Psi-Corps, StormWatch: Team Achilles and The Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense.

Activity: We have only just begun... less than two weeks old, but we currently have about 20 members playing. There is plenty of room for growth now that Issue 12 has come out, and plenty of opportunities for leadership.

Requirements for Membership: Must be interested in playing within the confines of this style of team/gameplay. There are costume and AT/Powerset requirements for each division, but every kind of character would fit in somewhere, so long as they are inclined to join such an organization.

Leadership: Jack Slayton (Spec-Ops), Psi-Tracker (Psi-Ops), Syenite (Meta-Ops) or Abel Wagner (Arcane-Ops)

Nice work Juggy. I don't do PayPal because I've had too many friends who've been hacked through them. I don't even pay my bills or do my taxes online (and yes, I work for the IRS). Too many instances of spy/malware that has infected me has made me extremely leery.

Now, if an artist is willing to work with me to accept a money order, then I'm happy to pay for art. Just right now funds are in flux and I need to keep an extremely tight rein on my budget, especially with the baby due in less than two months!

Yeah, so far I've had nothing but decent service from Paypal - but then again, I look at it as a transfer point only. I think if anyone is saving any large amounts in it, they're running the risk of trouble.

Mine is 7 months, and Juggy's right...it isn't easy. But my daughter is also my greatest joy. Wouldn't trade being a Dad for anything in the world.

PalPal is reliable so long as you have decent security on your computer. I've never had a problem in the 4 years I've been using it (Ebay addict).

We are very pleased with this piece. Brandon did a great job.

We do have a strong theme in our group and in our uniforms, but all the members have been very resourceful in mananging to make their characters look individual and unique while maintaining that theme.
