To many rules/restrictions?

I posted it on those as well already.
I like it! I think I'll join, but just because of a strange preference, can I have a belt? I'd like my "shard" to actually be contained outside my body. In other words, in the "Jewel" belt. I'm thinking that my character will be an android, which means he would be unable to take in the shard. But because of the shard, he gained sentinence.
Except for the belt, he would look just like any other member. He was built to be a spy, and for that reason, he looks just like a human.
In other words, it would be a mixed origin. I'd list it as technology for obvious reasons, but the magic of the "Reality Shards" would give him sentinence and personality.
For RP reasons, he does not require food, water, air, or any sort of thing that an average human would require, but he can appear to eat or breathe. (The designers built him this way, all the better to infiltrate other nations.)
Last of all, I'd like his powersets to be Nrg/Elec for a Blaster. The scientists who created him gave him minor electrical attacks so that is the situation arose, he could defend himself. The energy attacks would come from the Reality Shard.
What do you think? Could I join?

That sounds quite resonable. We can make that exception, as long as you are an android.
Can you do something to make your character look like an android, though? Perhaps the metallic skin or at least an inhuman skin color? Perhaps with the "circuitry" design on the face?

Thanks for the compliment on the backstory. Jean Luc thought the bare bones up, I rewrote and fleshed it out quite a bit.
To show he's an android, he was going to have the "Glowing Eyes" face option.

We knew there would be exceptions to the rules. As long as the exceptions make sense, I'm all for it.
After all, if the Green Lantern Corps can have a planet-sized GL, a robot GL, and those silly squirrel-looking GL's...we can be flexible too.

Hmmm... don't know what kind of name I should give him... he's a robot, after all, should prob'ly have some sort of "robotic" name... or possibly a name he's taken up for himself. Dangit, I don't know. This'll take a bit of thought...

THE CERULEAN LEGION
a new RP-ing SuperGroup on the Virtue Server/Shard
Greetings.
Some friends and I have decided to create a new RP-ing SG that emulates (but in no way imitates or copies) the "Green Lantern Corps" / "DarkStars" space-cop paradigm.
We weren't going to officially start this SG until after Issue 7 came out (due to possible changes in costume, etc.), but if enough people are interested (we have five members as I type this) we will start sooner.
THE STORY/BACKGROUND:
During and as a result of the Rikti invasion of Earth, mankind was desperate. Desiring to find the means by which we could more readily protect ourselves, top scientists and engineers from around the globe were assembled to attempt to breach other dimensions where we might find new energies and weapons.
We succeeded.
However, due to ignorance of the ramifications of what they were doing, our overzealous and arrogant researchers inadvertently caused a minor cosmic paradox...shattering the "Source Stone" (the anchor by which all reality is defined and maintained) into several separate but less stable realities, each containing thousands of fragments, or "shards" of the Source.
Soon after in the depths of space, a small group of interstellar explorers led by the French entrepreneur/adventurer Jean Luc Du Lac and Canadian astronaut John Talbot discovered an intense crystaline power source unlike any other known to exist at the time...the fragmented shards of reality itself.
As cautious study of the small crystaline fragments began upon their research and exploration vessel, the team found that the shards seemed to emit their eerie blue glow more brightly in proximity to some of the research team than to others. The glow seemed particularly bright when Du Lac and Talbot came near. Excited by this development, Du Lac decided to hold one with a bare hand. Once touched, the shard disolved into his body. The rest of the team tried this as well, though only Talbot and two others had the same result. All four were soon mysteriously overcome with knowledge of the fragmented Source Stone and were granted astonishing energy-based powers, though the nature of those powers seemed to differ in accordance with the host's personality. Knowing how dangerous such power could be in the wrong hands, they gathered all the remaining shards they could find, forging a pact to use the power of the Source Shards to protect this reality and as a force for good in the universe.
Thus, the Cerulean Legion was born.
Using Earth as a base and as their training grounds, they now recruit from across the galaxy those brave, honorable, and strong enough to fight evil and injustice wherever it stands.
REQUIREMENTS:
Level:
Any level (new or previously existing character) may join if all other requirements are met.
Name:
- Your in-game name must be your character's full name, whether that name is one word or five. For example: My character's name is "John Talbot". In the game, you will see me as "John Talbot". If your character's name is "Muulok", others should be able to see "Muulok" above your head in the game. Pretty simple.
Uniform:
- All recruits (lvl 1-19) must wear the standard uniform ( example )
utilizing
- "Muscular Sleek" chest with the "Stripe 2" design.
- "Sleek Tights" legs.
- "Shiny Leather" gloves and boots* with the "Sharp" design.
* The gloves and boots can be either standard or large size, depending on your preference .
- If you require a "secret identity", the basic domino mask can be used. ( example )
- Here is a pallette with the required colors. ( example )
- At lvl 20, your control over the energies that comprise your uniform are such that you can alter it according to your will, bearing in mind that it should should still bear a strong resemblance to the basic uniform. ( examples )
- At level 20 a set of civilian clothing can be made as well.
- At level 30, effects should be chosen. They can be of any style that fits your character's individual personality, but they should be full body effects. ( example )
Allowed AT's/Powersets*:
Blasters (preferred AT) - Eng/Eng
Tankers - Invul/Eng
Controllers - Grav/Emp, Grav/FF, Grav/Sonic, Grav/Rad, Grav/Kin,
Defenders - Emp/Eng, FF/Eng, Sonic/Eng, Rad/Eng, Kin/Eng
Kheldians - both Warshades & Peacebringers
* Some exceptions can be made, but these will be rare. For example, if an alien who already had some fire-based powers naturally were to also become a recruit, then we might consider something like an Eng/Fire Blaster or a Fire/Inv Tank.
Note:
1. All characters must take flight as their primary travel power. Exceptions must be addressed via email with either Jean Luc Du Lac or John Talbot.
2. All characters with the exception of the Kheldians should choose "Magic" as their origin due to the nature of their powers' source.
3. Also, being a part of a roleplaying SG, we would like for you to concoct a history for your character. You know, some flesh to go with them bones.
