At level 33 my WP/Fire is fairly nice AoE, but it feels too much like a furyless brute really

I quoted it in a half-serious way since I don't see anything fundamentally wrong with Containment (or Domination) at the moment. But I agree with the general point about how conceptually, Domination is closer to what you would expect as an inherent for controllers (and I play both). If anything I think that giving Containment (as it is now) to Dominators would probably make them over-powered.

I've got to admit domination gives me sucky damage compared to my controller, and containment doesn't actually help me control. If they were reversed both my character would be a damn sight better at what I want them to do

You can keep groups perma knocked down with Gale + Torrent alone I believe (at least the numbers told me that when I tried to build one)

Is that the Fire/Stone? If it is I vaguely remember what it looks like, if not its proof that Gonk has too many alts (tries to hide the bill for his third account which might invalidate that statement)

I'd say that Thunderstrike is all the knockback you need in one set. Elec has its fill

Not sure what times I'll be on as I have a birthday part on the friday night, but when I'm around I will be playing the scrapper (as MaX agreed to air the duo out a bit) so we'll likely have spaces for others when we're playing

FF/Dark has good synergy.

Storm/Dark looks great fun (but I couldn't get all the powers I wanted in and slotted in my build so I gave up on mine)

All defender primaries are good primaries, what are you lookingg to do with it? Of the two I mentioned one buffs and the other debuffs........... what is it you want out of your defender? Remember defenders can do anything, the other characters are the support

Having had this discussion with Nightmarer yesterday I was putting tough forward and I still do. If you can take the sting out of the alpha you end up with more HP after groups than before (unless you start on maximum anyway)

Tested both on um test and I found that though Aid Self was really good it stopped me smashing things, where as tough I could ignore. I'm still not 100% sure what I'd take on a scrapper but on a brute I'd take tough.

For DXP weekend I will be on my Claw/WP scrapper when I'm around. As I probably wont be on for a lot of it asside from most of the sunday I hope to at least see some of you there.
