Ah, Honoree is an exception to my comment above, just because of his high resistance to the most common damage meaning you dont have to be so unlucky not to get enough damage with a random team.

Because blasters are played more than anything else (or were last time they did a post about AT popularity) it should be relatively simple to have a high damage team, and quite likely if you picked at random too.

One DM scrapper in the team is enough to tip the balance with Honoree without any debuff though, probably the same for a stalker and brute. But then DM is not popular enough for it to be a likely pick up on a random team search

And Romulus is brilliantly worked, I must say I had the same fun on Ghost Widow on the STF too. there's multiple ways of overcoming her strengths and debuff and spam simply isn't one of them (unless its a truly stupid amount of debuff I guess, but that wont be a random team)

My SR scrapper has taken that nuke several times and he's never rolled that 7.5% chance of hitting me. Though I guess a scrapper running in early isn't exactly news of any kind.

For a team to struggle with AVs it needs to have either low damage or no debuffs. It actually takes some effort to form a team like that, or really bad luck

The only primary I can think of for a scrapper that doesn't let you defuse an alpha strike is Fire Melee. Is why we have two sets

I added 5 lines to my todo list today, all addressing issues with Invulnerability. They'll likely be in I13, assuming I get approval. Yes, this means the -Def in Unyielding Stance might go away.

Well then Foot Stomp is a great way to kill the alpha strike, if you are using super speed you should be in the group and hit that before they retaliate. They cant hit you with one burst of damage then cause they will all stand up at a slightly different speed, your -tohit and regen will have kicked in. Job done.

I prefer active avoidance of such things than passive myself. My Elec/Fire uses Lightning rod in much the same way

I know a Kin/Dark that is interested too

hah, I have 5 at level 50, I think. I dont see the AVs as a problem, more the mobs on the way to them

Pretty much agree with you there Mother, I hold multiple accounts in CoH, and sure I could just drop one if the price went up, but I could switch over to another MMO instead. Or I'd take a break waiting for the Bioware MMO in development

Well my end red IOs in my T3 Merc pet reduces the end cost of his powers so I'd think it would but not 100% sure. Dont know if it will affect the AI on which powers they use though.

While leveling I only used SOs on mine, cause that's all there were. but on the Lich I would try to max out fear duration, accuracy and maybe something in hold to finish with

Yeah my Ill/rad did something terrible, I joined a team and out levelled the end of an arc, now I'm stuck with an open one for ages until 3N days (N being the number of missions left in the arc)

Take special note on the page on inventions, not that they're required but they can be a good source of inf if nothing else

I disagree. For instance, to get the ouroboros portal it is assumed that you have come across time-travel. Barring a few missions that you have to hunt for, the only sure-fire way to get it is to visit a PvP zone like RV. The megalomaniac accolade could easily be placed somewhere other than RV. etc...
