hardcore/over 6 month vet here.. as soon as i seen beam rifle i wanted to try (new n shiney).. but now that its sitting at lvl 44 i find it real slow and clunky..the redraw is driving me nutz, and the animation seems a bit long to me.. the damage seems meh at best..the side effects arent effective, and disintigrate really doesnt make that much of an improvement to damage, even with scourge. ill still get this build to 50 and shelf it after.
/poison is fine though...just not a good pairing for me with beam...


rolled a fire/poison corr sitting at lvl 31 rt now and its already a beast.. all my attacks from primary n secondary just flow out lovely.

my top choice so far is gonna look like Soul Mastery for


Soul Drain @ lvl 41 (even though i dont wanna spend anytime in melee)
Soul Storm as my ST hold (since im 90% single target damage)
Power boost (to boost most of my debuffs)

even though mace does look nice. Poisontrap/web envelope/toxic breath/cutting beam/and the tier 9 aoe.. but im stickin mostly St damage

my AR/dev/munitions was probally my 2nd 50, and was retrofitted without any specific direction about a year ago, i decided to go with +range +recharge and +damage..(now im planning my +ranged def version).. full auto @ 145' range with flamethrower/buckshot/ignite at about 125' i mixed IO's with Hami's where needed. recharge sitting at about 130%. i went pyro for my judgement to pair with flamethrower/ignite.. i went IDF for theme with my LORE, and reactive for the 75% fire dot to add the damage.. working nicely so far...but still need to work on +defense for now.

anywayz,,,i just went from 6 to noon.. :P

i tired something different with my AR/device.. i built for +dam +rchg and +range.. fully io'd, some hami's, and tier 3 incarnate makes for the most fun ive had with an AT in over 69 months of gameplay.

the beauty of devices is that you can have different setups depending on what kinda baddies and what kinda team your on. its a very survivable set for blasters. makes ya think b4 you mash buttons. (proud owner of a 50 fire/dev and a 50 AR/dev)

I LOVE my lvl 50 AR/device...one thing i would change is the fact that gun drone doesnt last so long for its cast time and end cost. but on the good side it does give a 33% damage boost after cast for i think around 10s.

i tried this same build with a tank....and it was full of failure.

on a corruptor im curious which has a faster base recharge, power mastery's (power buildup)..or soul mastery's (i think) powerboost.. reason being im working on a elec/therm for pvp, and id like to have the boosted effects up as much as possible..

build for defense and you wont be as squishy, just hit 50 on an elec/earth dom, he has about 51% def to ranged attacks, and by the time im in melee to cleanup Lt's and bosses everyones end is gone....

Ok I just got my second Dom to lvl 50 (elec/earth/mu) the first is a earth/thorn that I pvp with in zone and do fairl well considering it's not a fotm.. I fell in love with doms again. So I was planning an plant/fire (cause it seems to be the hype) first thing I noticed was a pause between flares and strangler...(thought it was full of synergy) ? Other options would be a fire/elec or fire/ice. I'd like to bring this Dom into some zone pvp too. Out of these 3 options which would be the better choice.. One build for pve, one for pvp. Pros n cons of each.

i currenlty am working on an elec/earth dom, its lvl 45 now and i loveeeeee her!!! i still havent came up with a build im 100% satisfied with yet though, im trying for a soft capped defense, melee oriented build (not sure if ill be able to achieve this) but ill try. its got plenty of crowd control, really nice ST damage, lots of mitigation with the stuns and knockup/back from earth, and i went with MU as my epic, for more -end and another elec based pet (mu gaurdian) which spawns its own voltic sentinal. so all in all im very pleased with the combo.

my lvl 36 elec/earth dom definitly needs her stamina.

hello, im a almost 6 year vet COH/COV, my computer is able to handle coh and cov no prob, but with the new Praetoria zone its impossible to play. im looking for some advice on a good gaming computer that would be able to run GR with ease.. can someone who knows about computers and grafix cards please give me some suggestions on a setup that would let me play my favorite game for another 6 years? i have about a 1000$ to spend if needed for the new tower.
