I don't see the problem at all with this. If people object they can opt out, it generates more money for more features.

If this scheme pays for one more devloper then I am 100% behind it.

If the ads are over the top, I will turn them off and a lot of players will. Keep them subtle and part of the setting and few people will care, and they can always "Opt Out".

Stil... I was hoping for more issue 12 updates today, not business model updates.

I wonder if CO will steal this idea without realizing its a joke?

check out the last screenshot in the announcement. see what it says there as the costume name? nothing from the list of presets.. nope. it says "custom".

Sure, keep CoH/V going while you do so. But make a new game that doesn't rapidly, prematurely age your coders everytime you need to upgrade. Who knows? You guys have tons of imagination and talent. If you come up with something exciting and new, I might stick around.

Devs haven't balanced hero and villains. Especially from a PVP perspective. In PVP heroes now have the upper hand more than ever. It seems typical of the forums of late. Devs say were getting 20 powersets ported over, and people cannot seem to find the good in this. The list gets announced and the first 30 posts all seem to be "OMG DEV HATEZ VLZ< I GONNA CRI NOW!"

I don't think they could have released a list of sets that would have made the community happy.

I also notice nothing about sonic/force field bubbles stopping spawns. That guy in those raids was really annoying me with his "Turn off your bubbles or we dont get heavies' BS.

Can't wait to lay down the smack next time we met during an invasion.

This is a great idea. Infrequent invasions so we don't get sick of them, but often enough that people can get involved and get the badges. What a great compromise.

On a positive note, spam seems to be way down on Infinity and Victory where I play. Ignore spammer seems to be working. I haven't recieved a spam email in weeks and only 1 tell in the last month.
So, the process seems to be working. Thanks to all who report as your making my game play more fun.

Well, ones things for sure. The tutorials are getting a revamp. Which is good, as there is one cop in breakout who has been beaten solidly... almost non stop... for almost 3 years.

That one cop alone will be thankful for any ret-con.
