I got a real "Ghost Rider" biker vibe from the music and decided to go with that... and made the character female for extra points.

Posting more than one costume would take a much longer time X.x and I don't know about anybody else, but I change mine so often that it would be near-impossible to keep up.

Vega is his name. It refers to the star. The character's name in-game is "The Dusk Runners", but in backstory, the MM's name is Vega. All the minions will be named after stars/constellations/other celestial bodies. Punk#1 is named 'Rigel'. The other two tier-1s are planned to be "Sirius" and "Polaris". One of the tier-2s will be named "Orion", and I haven't decided the others. I like to keep with a theme when naming minions. All of Megumi's minions have biblical names (Cain and Abel so far).

Thanks for the compliments, all. The only one I'm not entirely pleased with is Advent... it's just so bland. Suggestions on how to spice it up would be appreciated. Maybe I should try for a 'raver' costume.

Seems a trend has started with people showing off their costume-creation skills. I like to show off, so without further ado...

First up is my main and only 50 (*shame*), who goes by "Cobalt" though his registered name is the idiotic-sounding "Cobalt Avenger". He's an MA/SR scrapper but citygametracker thinks he's /regen for some reason.
Broken Circle is the same person, but on the red side. Ninja blade/ninjitsu stalker.
Dealus is the unwilling host of an ancient sorcerer's soul. All the Circle's fault, you know. Katana/regen scrapper, Cobalt's brother-in-arms.
Technikolour is Dealus' twin sister. She was in a coma the past two years or so and he was pretty pissed about that. All the Circle's fault, you know. Kinetics/Archery defender, which is not as much fun solo now that she's approaching the 30's.
Advent Destiny, a mutant from the future whose name is way cooler than his costume/concept. He's a goth/metal/rave DJ and bass player. He got to this time accidentally and hasn't left yet because he's looking for his brother. Dark/Dark scrapper.
Takeru Storm is from the future, where his outfit is decidedly less weird-looking [*cough*]. He doesn't care that his brother is looking for him, and he's in no rush to get home. He's been completely taken in by Lord Recluse's Projectestiny plans. Fire/Dark corruptor.
Crucius is a demented cyborg who thinks he's a fallen angel. He's working on getting powerful enough to take on God. EM/Stone brute.
Volkyr is a Russian 'werewolf' who robs banks and such because it's hard to hold a normal job when you sprout fur and fangs at the slightest irritation. He also has a bit of a Gwen Stefani obsession. SS/elec brute.
iH3RD by Pineapple Technology is the latest in robotic bodyguard hardware. It takes the hits so you don't have to, and dishes out punishment in return! Comes in three colors and includes the latest release of iBoomBox. "Pineapple Tech, we put the FUN in Functional!" [Fire/SS tank]
The Dusk Runners are a group of completely useless punks held together by their shared love of mayhem and astrology. They all have celestial-inspired nicknames. Their leader is the inexplicably-blue-haired Vega. Thugs/Traps MM.
OrdinaryGirl lost her space in the great naming fiasco of post-beta. No one is sure how or where she got her powers, or why she uses them to fight crime. The general concensus is that it's some grand experiment of some kind. Illusion/emp controller.
Tiffany Duke, my dominator from a failed group project that I might start playing again. Shallow, spoiled Mafia princess who happens to be psychic. Mind/Psi dominator.
Mara Gold is my Wolverine homage. Except she's female, not infinity-years-old, and hails from NYC. Claw/Regen scrapper, obviously.
Gun Girl Megumi and her posse are part of a mastermind duo with my spouse. She's the illegitimate daughter of a Yakuza boss and is planning on leading a hostile takeover of daddy's territory. Thugs/poison MM.
And finally, there's Storm-Angel, my ex-military AR/Dev blaster who's been stuck at 39 for god-knows how long.

As you can see I'm not a big fan of spandex, but I am a fan of black... Yay dark colors.

Gabriel Seraph is pretty neat. You don't see many huge bodytypes with wings.

Dealus would be interested in representing the obligatory angsty-kid.

He's a 17 year old katana/regen with a grudge against the Circle of Thorns (who doesn't have one of those these days?). He can't help looking like a demon-posessed lord-darkity-dark, so he's decided to embrace the stereotype with a mentally unbalanced mix of surly pessimism and morbid humor. The voices in his head are real, and they're not too fond of anyone.

Maybe october or november.

I use a lot of black, too. I think I only have two characters out of a dozen+ that don't have black as a primary color component in their look. I usually counteract it by putting really bright shades on the trim...like a bright yellow belt or goggle lenses.

I like Summer's look, and Kamera could be really cool with some color variety on the trim. King Wiki's pretty neat too, but I look at him and see BBQ-Chicken (of Spectacular Sparky infamy).

I took a stab at Indigo Sagitta and Blood Scorpius.


Indigo: Front and Back ;; Rox colors

I went for a sleek 1960's space-man theme with the grey leather, and minor detailing. The capsules on his belt, I suppossed, would be his miniaturized array of devices (how do we carry all this stuff around anyway in outfits with no pockets?). I also did an alternate color scheme to match Rox's theme--maybe a SG uniform.


Blood Scorpius: Front and Back ;; Cape Design ;; Alternate Helmet Design

I know the red and black thing is overdone, but with a name like Blood Scorpius... Anyway. I wasn't sure if he was suppossed to be an alien too or not, so I tried to make it somewhat ambiguous. His skin is dark red to contrast Indigo's dark blue. Kind of going for an arrogant, Cobra-esque look with him without being too flamboyant. I am not sure if I succeeded. He would have a full-sized long cape, I just used the shoulder cape to show the design. Also, I wasn't sure if you have the Samurai options, so I put up an alternate helmet design.

My vote's for 2... but not so keen on the goggles.
