Quote:I think just DA/incarnate content.Okay. I think I know the two current ways. Buy Super Packs and run Incarnate Trials. I hear that in i22 they will drop randomly in, er any?, 50 content?.
And I am pretty sure it is a very rare drop....
Quote:1) What is a amount of Super Packs necessary to buy to have a very good chance of getting 6 Catalysts?.
I opened a set of 24 and got 1. I opened a set of 24 and got 5. YMMV
FWIW: if you have the points, getting enough packs to get past the costume bits seems to allow other rare/very rare items to appear more often. -
Quote:Looks like a fun build. Glad you like it.Ok, well, I expect to tweak her a bit more (like in Hurl, for example), but at the moment she is set up thus:
The proc is totally worth it, based on my experience with it so far (though not with an Invul/ so not directly positive of the benefit in this case). Overall, it is a nice set, if you can work it in - if nothing else to essentially get a purple-light set of bonuses (full if you can get the catalysts). -

If it really mattered, I'd be right there with you Blue_Centurion.
But as it is, it is shrug worthy.
I could counter with an argument of what is the programming load for sorting out which player gets which loading spot, and adjusting slower loading times, first in first out, and holding time stamps, or a list of things that define why it isn't "that simple", but frankly, it is a minor minor QoL issue. -
Quote:I am pretty sure forum rules specify you cannot name names, period. If there is such a way to do this, I am, and I ecourage all of you to support this. List names of scammers. I need to make very clear and stress the importance that the list MUST be an honest list. I mean, we can not afford to make a false accusation of anyone or the ENTIRE list will lose its virtue, and our credibility in posting the list of offenders will also lose its value.
So, if it's not against the rules, and the GMs will not take care of these issues which are easily and very possible to tackle, let's proceed with such a thread. -
Quote:Oh, no disputing that. Frankly, my wife has on occassion noted such problems elsewhere, and my daughter delights in pointing out gotchas. But, with this show, they have pretty much said "doesn't matter".Eh, for what it's worth you don't really need to be a big comic/superhero/zombie fan in order to be annoyed by -any- TV show that can't be edited well enough to plausibly explain huge 12+ hour gaps for no good story reason at all. At least this show doesn't do silly things like that in every episode.
Quote:I kind of like how we have two pairs of characters both fighting each other for the "Alpha" spots within the group. We have the obvious Rick versus Shane confrontation but it's now clear that Lori and Andrea are fighting over the same kinds of issues from I guess what would be considered the "female" point of view. We already knew that Shane and Andrea both see more eye-to-eye on things so we've got a real tag team match between the four of them going on now. -
Quote:Yeah, Rick suggested scratches without a lot of conviction or checking (or concern). Shane just sort of accepted it.At one point, I figured they were going to use Beth like the bit with Tyrone's daughter.
Didn't they say that the cops had scratches, rather than outright bites? Couldn't tell what the response was.
I'm firmly in the Jenner's comments camp on this.
Interestingly, I've had the opportunity to watch this with my wife and daughter - neither big zombie fans per se, nor have they read the comic. They are thoroughly enjoying it. I mention this for two reasons:- They laugh at all the timeline flubs and concerns when I asked them about them from discussion here. Essentially, the response was the story and characters are good enough so why worry about little things like that.
- The issue of Jenner's whisper never crosses their mind - it was a minor thing quickly forgotten.

It's only a flesh wound, you'll get better.

Textbook brute. The Fury mechanic is nearly the definition of his rage. And Brute defense scaling works acceptably - particularly when you figure in some incarnate level support. Pure brute.
I have generally considered him Invul though... He has a strong will, and all, but that sure doesn't cover the range of 'that didn't hurt, no really... didn't break the skin' he has presented over the years.
Whether one person or a thousand tick him off, doesn't matter - he still gets 'mad', so the WP, or I guess that Invul, mechanics that require multiple opponents just don't quite fit for me. That leaves Regen as the best model in my opinion. But that probably isn't quite robust enough...
He can't be both a Brute and a mythological tanker that never existed.
My tanks laugh evertime you say this. -
Not that I recall. I actually, I don't remember much about her other than being whiny and annoying. In a different way than on the show. That and <spoily spoiler>.

Quote:Makes a great visual though. And, it is a TV show.*sigh* Stabbing 'em in the forehead...just...wrong. Unless that bone has started turning brittle/mushy, that's just about the hardest spot on a human skull. He could've much more easily went in through the eye socket.
And who knows,... maybe zombification makes things brittle...
Quote:Beth is either going to find another way to kill herself or she's going to go quisling.
All in all, a fast solid episode. Let a lot of emotional laundry air and yet lets the smolder continue. Not sure I like the tone of next week's preview... but we'll see. -
I am sorry you got ripped, but really, the market is in place for a reason and that alone will probably not get you any support help.

Looks like something from Underworld, or the Chronicles of Riddick.
edit: that is, very cool, but Batman would never have come to mind... -
Some notes after catching up a bit on the discussion:
- I fully support Doctor_Minerva's comments. The holes in the story are not vast... but the story segments are suffering from feeling rushed. (Personally, I think Stateman's death may have been a bait and switch to let Psyche's surprise us. I expect a dramatic and interesting WWD#7.)
- Dark_Respite's script suggestion = outstanding.
- The *hroob*y affair - hilarious.

Quote:Generalizations are generaltions, but I have a teenage daughter. I'm not gonna challenge KofK's point...I teach several courses at the university here, and most of my students are 18 and 19 years old. While I don't exactly count them as adults on account of their being ridiculously irresponsible about their future and still being supported by their parents, very few of them act like children, and the ones that do act like that to impress their class-mates. And then fail their tests because they spent most of their time monkeying around instead of listening to what I'm saying.
No, I don't have kids, you're right about that, but I deal with young men and women on a daily basis. I've never seen one that acted like Penny. Yes, some are bubbly and fool around and such, but none of them share those same mannerisms.
And comparing class room behavior at an institution of higher education and the way and living their lives outside that classroom... not nearly situations that I would use to draw meaningful conclusions. -
Quote:She hung out with Fusionette............. 'nuff said.......It's not a question of her physical appearance. No, she doesn't look that young. No-one in this game looks particularly young, because our costume editor, for all its strengths, is incredibly abstract when it comes to the finer points of a person's physique.
What this is about is a question of Penny's mannerisms, attitude and behaviour. She sounds and acts like a kid. If the Penelope Yin of Faultline is supposed to be an 18-year-old woman, then she's an incredibly juvenilie one. I get that she's acting cute and friendly and all that, but there are certain mannerisms inherent to children that even young adults don't often keep.
The real tragedy here is that Penny's 14-year-old kid writing is some of the best in the game from a technical standpoint. She sounds spot on as a little kid, and she's probably the only character in the game who manages to act youthful without acting like an idiot. -
Quote:Am I the only one that just figured that there may have been a lot more conversation in the bar than the show shared with us?When they showed the truck returning after the sun had come up, I honestly expected them to have stopped somewhere to amputate the new guy's leg. However, I didn't find that transition as jarring as the sudden day-to-night transition in the bar.
Quote:Anyway, all that aside, the most puzzling thing to me was, why would they patch the kid up and then send him on his way? Not only is he likely to get eaten on his own with a gimpy leg, but they just saved his life after he tried to kill them. He'd have to be pretty evil, or pretty stupid to not be eternally grateful to them for not A) shooting him in the face, or B) leaving him to become walker chow.
Why not just nurse him back to health and absorb him into the group? Sure there's a possibility that he could turn (not zombie turn, turncoat) on them, but he wouldn't have much hope against such a large, heavily armed group.
Rick specifically said that they probably wouldn't when that argument came up on the show. -
Quote:Ah, was taking that question as a stand alone issue, not tied into the spring fling stuff. My apologies for misunderstanding.I was already doing the First Ward missions.
My problem is that I could not do the Valentine Event stuff, because as a Praetorian you don't have Tips. I get the message that I received one, but it's not in the user interface.
Because of the Valentine stuff I felt pressured into making a choice, while I wasn't really done with Praetoria. That more than anything was what ticked me off. -
Quote:It does, doesn't it?Changing the Proc from my 'Whirling Hands' to 'Bone Smasher' did the trick. It worked as advertise. I was able to stack it the 3 times and wow. It made a huge difference for character.
I put a superior version in my SR/ tank, and my durability noticably shifted at x8 with bosses in tip missions. That added safety net behind the defenses was sweet.
Grabbed another to test on my EleA/ tank next.
So far... I'm thinking this is one of the better sets/procs of the ATOs. -
Quote:You can abandon the mission to leave Praetoria and there is an entrance to First Ward (I forget where). You do no need to leave to go to Primal.
- Apparently I'm supposed to leave Praetoria at level 20, never to return. Is this correct? In character I've made friends there in the Resistance, why should I leave forever? Why is going to First Ward not a problem?
Of course, once you level cap FW you are left with nothing new to run...
