They should hit the ground running. Clark is already Superman. Lois and Clark are already married. Lex is already Superman's archenemy.
If they name this Superman Begins.. I will LOL

Yeah it was working, it was something about yesterdays patch that broke it probably.

I wonder why I saw 126?? Oo in any event you're right it IS still perma I would get Vengence instead
  7. I would agree with what most are saying.. I tend to build for +defense first on most of my toons. (what kind of defense depends on the toon (S/L, ranged))

But in regards to Doms I go with try to make a build with permadomination first.. then work at trying to S/L and see where you can go. In most cases you don't have to cap defense since you're holding most stuff down. But anything in the 30-45 range does well as long as your domination is perma. IMO

Well you can switch that with another power.. regardless without that LotG +7.5 proc its still perma dom.. its just that hasten won't be perma.. it will be off by 6 seconds. Domination will still be perma though as long as you keep hasten on auto.

Or replace it with Vengence and still keep the LoTG proc. .. personally for what you're going for, IMO "Scene's" build seems to be the best option but expensive.
  9. Well you are 20 seconds off from having Link Minds perma so your defense numbers won't be the same for 20 seconds.

Also if I remember correctly Stealths defense is only 1.88 once you're unstealthed. If you're stealthed your numbers are higher but its not good to judge a build on that since once you are attacked the 1.88 defense number comes into play.

Also the end usage seems really high.

    I hope that helps
  10. Okay so if you want VEAT epics its prolly best to stay on redside till you complete your patron arc other wise you won't get an option for epics when you turn 41 as a hero completely? (unless you switch back to redside later)
  11. If you're a veat and you switch to hero side before lvl 40. Once you hit 41 do you get your patron powers? or do you have to go redside to get them?

I ask this since VEATs get no hero epic powers, is it best to wait till 40 before switching sides? Or does it not matter?
  12. NEW Tom Welling interview

    Quote:
The show’s creators, Al Gough and Miles Millar, embraced the opportunity to write a rich, new narrative for the iconic character’s journey to manhood.

“I know that sometimes we’ve done some things fans didn’t like — though other fans really appreciate — but we’ve just going our own path knowing that eventually he would become Superman,” said Welling, whose character still hasn’t leapt a building in a single bound.

But come on — 10 years of teasing fans with Clark’s maiden flight?

“Some people might be a little upset that it’s taken this long, but I think that we have to embrace the fact that if we’d done it in the first season, the show would be over,” said Welling. “The whole point was to try to elongate this journey or this transition that Clark has to becoming Superman.”

The show has endured challenges in its 10 seasons including the demise of its original network, the WB. The program has seen its viewership drop — 8.4 million for the show’s premiere in 2001 to 2.3 million for last year’s opener — though that’s not unusual for an aging show. And it’s faced the inevitable questions, especially from hardcore comic book readers about their narrative choices.

“It’s got its own continuity — just like Richard Donner’sSuperman,’” said Geoff Johns, chief creative officer for DC Entertainment, a comic book writer and an occasional writer for “Smallville.” “It’s built its own world, and it’s certainly a huge legacy. It’s crazy … I mean Tom Welling has spent more hours as Clark Kent that anyone in history.”

Many hail Christopher Reeve (over, say, George Reeves or Dean Cain) as the quintessential Man of Steel, and Brandon Routh’s rendition in 2006′s “Superman Returns” was generally well received, but Welling’s “Smallville” longevity gives him a special place in superhero lore.

“When he [Welling] finally becomes Superman, he will be, to me, stepping into the role and becoming Christopher Reeve,” said executive producer Brian Peterson. “We really want it to end where a lot of people in the world … where their knowledge of Superman picks up. Our goal was not to create mythology but to fill in a gap of mythology.”

But will fans be satisfied now that they’ve waited?

“I think the dilemma and the challenge this year is waiting until the end of the show,” said Welling. “At this point you’re like, ‘Why doesn’t he just put on the suit?’ I mean, come on — he’s doing the same stuff now, so why not? That’s the challenge — to make that last until the end.” And speaking of the end, that issue presents a special challenge.

“We all know that Clark doesn’t die,” said Welling. “I just want the audience to get the feeling that I got watching [the "24" finale] … a feeling of hope, and faith that he’s going to continue, and that he’s out there somewhere.”

    Brilliant!!

lol I know right! I am happy they picked Terri Hatcher to play her mom this season on Smallville.

So Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher would have both appeared on Smallville? Check...

Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder appearances on Smallville? Check..

    Wonder Woman Linda Carter?? Check

I love it when they pay homages like this..
  14. New trailer.. Kara, and others appear and Clark Flying?

I paused the video when the big red metal thing comes up, and I just realized that is Deadshot's monocle! And the subsequent action shot of a man in a longcoat drawing his gun must be Deadshot, too.

Aquaman (Alan Ritchson) says that Smallville will Break the Rules this season!

He also states that Smallville will go Darker this year.

  17. This is so full of win if they all do

Dinero is confirmed to be in it.

Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are rumored at the current time.

    Love Martin Scorsese movies!

    Quote:
Pacino and Pesci are reportedly “circling” a film that De Niro and Scorsese have been preparing for several years called The Irishman. Hit the jump for all the details.
I wonder if Scorsese can get Jack Nicholson to join too that would be a mafia dream cast

Hopefully, Scorsese will deliver another Goodfellas.
  18. Wouldn't it be easier to say which build is better at farming X?
    (X = Mob type)

Now that you can make a brute for both sides shouldn't this be taken into consideration? Blue side has different maps than red side.. and then there is AE that some folks still use.

I think if we were to sticky this then maybe a more informative breakdown of what combos are best for which mob group would be cool to have. Since as we know Brutes will never have an issue when it comes to damage output. But some can kill faster than others depending on what they are fighting.

Besides certain people like fighting certain types of mobs vs others.. even though they are a host of various mobs to fight.

    Just a suggestion, nothing more.

I'm actually surprised they aren't introducing some of the New Genesis folk this season, if Apokolips is getting so much focus. They could've had Mr. Miracle and Barda in competition with Zatanna's magic act, or something...!
normally second half season guest stars are held until the first half of the season is over to give excitement for the upcoming stuff. Zatanna last season was not announced to be in an episode until November as an example. So maybe they're plans for them to come onboard too.
