    Thank you all...

You're welcome. The lack of prestige earnings from myself and the members of our sg has help to grant you this illustrious title.

    Gratz, Bud and PoN!

    Agreed.

Especially if some solicitations are sent to people with a "looking for any" flag up or their comment says they enjoy teaming or to that effect.

The silence that can occur after numerous requests, not more than one to the same person mind you, is relentless.

A simple 'no ty' would suffice.

    Goodbye present

I wish you well in your new home, ElectroHawk. Hope to see you back sooner than later.

May you have great happiness and outstanding lawns and gardens.

    Old School?

    Old school is cool school.

As far as lists I'm too senile to remember them or care if I'm on one.
  6. There's the nightcap for special nights I was looking for to go with the Eau de Baconne I use daily.

Is this a little insight to your shopping habits, WHF? Be it for personal items or all things bacon.
  7. Wewt! Glad it was a successful raid. I really wanted to make it to this, but having fun with my daughter and seeing her giggle was a priority.

Sorry to hear you're leaving, ElectroHawk. Good luck and have fun in your adventures.

    My bird is dead

My condolences, Zub, on the loss of your non-human family member.

May your neighbour, and his little dog too, be bombarded with pigeon droppings.

    I'll be at the bar.
  10. If you are ex'd down more than 3 levels of your set IO's the set bonuses will not take effect. This is not to say that the singular IO bonuses will do the same. For example, if you have an Acc/Dam IO that gives 24% to each at L50 when you are ex'd to L38 the effect will be comparative to the bonus offered at that level, like say, 19.8% to each. (best guesses there, but likely not accurate). Though I hope you get the point.

So if you have primarily L50 IO sets in your main build it would not be unwise to have a second build with IO sets relative to a common ex'd level. This is so you get the set bonuses if you are concerned with that.
  11. I made a thread about this a few weeks back.

It's happened rarely since then and still only with common IOs. It even happened once when I was putting a common into base storage.

Although, now I try to remember to right click the enhancement and select "Move to.." to transfer it to the auction house or base storage. I have no trouble doing it that way.
  12. Combining Inspirations to make a new one

If there are 3 Inspirations of the same type and tier (there are three sizes, reflective of their total effect, of each Inspiration) in your tray you can right mouse click one of them and create one that you want/need.

This is handy in multiple scenarios, though the most common use will be to create an Awaken instead of going to the hospital or base.
  13. Increase Turning Speed

    Go to Options -> Control

In the first section, Control Sensitivity, there is a slider for Mouse Look and one for Turning.

Mouse Look refers to when you hold down the right mouse button and move your mouse.
The same action can be done by
Experiment with this by moving the slider to the right and click the Apply Now button in the lower left corner of the Options window. I have mine set between 140-150%.

Turning refers to turning or spinning with keyboard keys. For left and right, respectively, the defaults are 'Q' and 'E', as well as the left and right arrow keys.
Experiment with this by moving the slider to the right and click the Apply Now button in the lower left corner of the Options window. I have mine set between 425-525%.

Tip: You can use the right mouse click and keyboard commands at the same time to spin 180ยบ really fast.
  14. Adjusting UI Windows

You can detach any window from it's parent by clicking the tiny blue button on one of the corners. Now you are free to move that window anywhere you like.

You can change the tinting, colour, and scaling of the windows globally (ie. it affects all windows; you can't change them individually).

Go to Options -> Graphics and Audio
Scroll down until you see a section titled, User Interface.

    Window Scale
This adjusts the size of the windows in relation to the default.
Move the slider to the left, decreasing the percentage, to make all windows smaller.

    Note:
    - Text size will be adjusted relative to the window scaling so you may have adjust the text size.
    - That the scaling will be affected by different resolutions. So if you change the resolution of your monitor you may have to adjust this setting again.

    Border Color
These three sliders are self explanatory. Each one is labeled either Red, Green, Blue.
Moving a slider to the left will decrease the amount that color is used (making it lighter).
Moving a slider to the right will increase the amount that color is used (making it darker).

    Note:
    - Moving all sliders to the left will make the window borders Black.
    - Moving all sliders to the right will make the window borders White.

    Window Opacity
This slider adjusts how "see-through" your windows are.
Moving the slider to the left will make the windows more translucent or "see-through".
Moving the slider to the right will make the windows more opaque or "solid".

    Note:
    - You may have to perform the next step for all windows to be dimmed.

    Border Opacity
If the Options window is not already open:
    Go to Options -> General
Scroll down to the 'Windows' section
Second from the bottom of this area you should see 'Dim All Windows'.
    Change 'Disabled' to 'Enabled'.

Tip: Here you can also show the option to open the Pet window by changing 'Disabled' to 'Enabled' in the line marked 'Show Pet Window Option'. You will then get a 'Pets' text button, that you can click to show/hide, on the top border of your team window.

    Servers

As recently as yesterday morning. That's 3x this week including regular Monday Maintenance. These were done at normal maintenance periods, ie. morning, and for no longer than usual.

I don't see what the fuss is about. With a bigger dev team now patches, updates, etc should get more frequent than they have in the past. I will never knock this because it means the game is getting bigger, stronger, better. Subjective, maybe, but that is the intent. So it's all good to me.

Now if it were server crashes on a regular basis that would be a different story.

    Ding.. Yata50

    Gratz on 50!

I was Shisou on your team for the MS Raid last night and thought you might've dinged there, but at the end you mentioned you had 2 bubs left.

Glad you made it after that.
  17. Issue is resolved today. I don't know what caused it but all is fine now.
  18. This has happened 5 times now over the course of 1/2 a day, but it's done it everytime I attempt it. I have sent in 2 crash reports before I made this post.

I attempt to drag Common Heal IOs into the WW window in order to list them for sale. As soon as I release the mouse button the hourglass cursor starts then the game crashes a few seconds after that.

The first time it happened I recieved a blind invite at the same time I released the mouse button upon dragging the IO into the window. I thought that was the problem.

The next 3 times it happened I thought it was because I had bought some salvage, but my inventory was full so it was still waiting to be taken.

However, after making room in my inventory and taking the bought salvage now it does it with any Common Heal IO (it's the only type I've tried dragging into the WW window, although I've tried L20, 25, and a 30).

I posted this to inquire if any others have had this happen to them or to find out if there is a resolution.
  19. Have a great one, GP!

    Here's to you.
    Cheers.

    Getting rid of dead weight?

Kidding aside, I miss-read that part of your post. I thought you simply meant training NPC's on a player.

    Yes.

Is it a way to win the zone?

    Yes.

    [ QUOTE ]
Nope not in the least bit.

    Sorry, but you're wrong.

Provoking verbal pvp, the way he wrote about it after. Those were wrong.

You could argue that continually capitalizing on easy kills where there were more substantial targets as threats to a zone win was wrong as well, even though they are all valid targets.

Folks defending the virtues of the PvP zone keep deflecting what the real issue is. Twixt went too far.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Twixt going too far (yes, he did) is an effect from the real issue -- PvP should not become personal. As hard as that is to do it still holds true.
  23. I hope the intended person still got that after the mt. It'd be a shame to have the flame dwindle on a burn of that magnitude because of a mt.

    Regarding Twixt

I'm not commenting on the merits (or lack thereof) of Twixt's actions and behavior. I've done that.

This is not directed towards anyone in particular.

What I will say is Risk vs. Reward. If someone goes to a PvP zone to do whatever, especially for good xp or badges only, and doesn't expect some retribution by means of PvP is daydreaming in fallacy land. Then if someone gets upset by it, well, they shouldn't be there or at least change their perspective on the place they've entered.

There is/was definate sub-communities within the PvP aspects of the game in regards to zones -- be them fightclubbers, farmers, badgers or something else that is outside the zone's intent.

There has always been some drama associated with these within the zone. Why? Because they are creating a carebear (yes, I said it) attitude. While these social/anti-social groups have their right to say and do what they wish (sans exploitation), they don't have the right to do that and complain that their actions are being debilitated. They are in a PvP zone.

Any complaints about people ganking, interupting duels, causing debt, blocking badge locations, droning or similar are groundless. People getting upset, causing a scene in /b or dramatizing it here from the PvP aspects of a zone should suck it up or not go there thinking that their fun may not or should not get interupted and even disputed.

PvP can be frustrating, yes, but weigh the frustration and let the fun come from actively participating in why the zone is there - PvP. If you want consentual PvP go to the arena. If you want no holds barred PvP go to the zones.

Risk a bruised ego vs the reward of the elation from a battle, win or lose.
