Another thing.. Would taking Bonfire be worth it? I could see it being useful after you have locked the mobs down so they don't get affected by the KB.

Not asking for someone to make a build and post it for me. I am normally pretty good at coming up with them myself. But then I met Fire/Dark. The builds I made were so tight on slots, and there was never a balance.. It either had amazing defense but low recharge, high recharge low defense, etc..
I have no clue what to get for the EPP/APP either. I would assume most would be pretty great. Ice for more defense, Fire for more AoE, Primal for power boost, etc. I figured since this character would be in melee range 95% of the time, that Soul Mastery would be a good idea as well.
Just looking for some info as to which route to go. Post builds, give suggestions, anything.

That's what I was thinking.. It would be pretty epic if it procced on every enemy hit with Fireball. Looks like I will be switching the two in my Fire/Cold build. That's alright though, it frees up a slot and gives me more recharge =]

Here's my "Poor man's build." It has slightly higher defenses without the use of the PvP IO. Nothing is perma, but then again.. This is for the people who can't afford the purples.

I have slotted the superior set before.. I have the full set in Bitter Ice Blast on my Ice/Time and it procs more often than not.
I was wondering if it would be best in Fire Ball or Blaze. Fire Ball seems like the logical choice if it can proc on most enemies it hits. But I have heard people say it's so much better in high rechare single target attacks. Also.. Fire Ball gets much better values than 5 slotting a Posi set. -
I would go something like this.. Near softcap S/L defense. And softcapped Ranged/Energy defense. Since you will be teaming, the other teammates will also most likely have dipped into the leadership pool, so you will be pushed over the softcap.
Replace the purple set in Howl for the ATO, and put the catalysts on them if you can. But be sure to only use the catalysts once you have all six, or you will be missing out on a set bonus.
Other perks are perma AM, and perma hasten. I would suggest going Agility for the Alpha slot, Judgement is your choice (thematically, Ion would fit), For Interface I would go Reactive. But these are all your choices.

But since you want something paired with a Radiation type powerset.. I would go Sonic/Rad. Good single target damage, good debuffs, and the -res is adding to your league's/team's damage. -
But! I am not a numbers guy.. I have not done a lot of my research.. I don't consider myself clueless to the game mechanics.. but I don't crunch in game numbers and know the exact DPS of my builds.

First, not all buffs and debuffs are affected by AT modifiers. Many attributes within powers or entire powers have the same buff/debuff values between corrs and defenders.
Second, Damage in and of itself is support. Dead enemies cannot fight back. Dead enemies mean you are moving on to the next group sooner, meaning you will be completing your goal faster. Whether you are defender or corruptor and even if you're building to be the best team support, you should not ignore the path to dealing damage as effectively as possible. I posted this on the Corruptor forums as well, but decided to post it here also for MAXIMUM viewage potential!!
Been going through a few respecs on my Ice/Time Corruptor to max this/max that. Or what would be very fun.
I've gone from Ice/Time/Power and although /Power is very good for Time.. I felt it kind of boring. So I then switched to Ice/Time/Soul.. Much less boring and somewhat end heavy.. But had powerboost to bolster my defenses.. I did find the pet sort of useless for my style of play on my Corr (I typically herd mobs and am right in the thick of everything, and even with Powerboost + Clarion Farsight.. My Fortunata still died. FAST.)
And now I am onto Dark Mastery.. Which I have not yet respecced into. From the looks of it... it seems like it will fit the bill pretty well for me. Oppressive Gloom seems like it would be handy to stun those pesky minions, and since I am always in melee range anyways.. it seemed even better. Dark Embrace is the usual resist shield.. Nothing to say there. But then Dark Mastery's Soul Drain... YES! =] SO, SO much better than Soul's.. Not only is it perma after enhancement boosters on my build.. But it hits more targets as well, according to my mids. And then to top it all off.. Dark Consumption is there for when my end bar is at about 15 or so (Which takes a long time of consistently fighting.)
The only things I am stressing about is not having the MASSIVE defense buff from a Powerboost + Clarion. And I also like Frost Breath too, It's actually nice if you can drop an Ice Storm and then instantly hit Frost Breath fron range and jump into the mobs and blast away. I am not well educated in the ways of Opressive Gloom, so if taking Frost Breath over it would work well.. I am all game for that.. But I would lose some melee and AoE defense.. Anyways, here is the planned build!
(P.S. The Apocalypse set is a superior ATO set.)

I'm not a numbers guy.. But given the higher debuff values of the Defender.. You may or may not be doing equal damage, if not more than a Corruptor.. I would take into account vigilance, but you said a TEAM build. Which would take away the defender damage buff.
Either way.. Defender or Corruptor, you WILL be helping out the team with all those debuffs. The Defender would just do a better job of it. -

Resistance on a brute is good for what I would assume is because of its high HP, defense is good too.. But with defense, you will be getting hit hard. -
