Can help with Braaaains only (Necro/Dark here).

The main thing is you only need one Blast really. I'd make it the second one (forgot the name, soz), the DoT. I'd ignore Life Drain completely normally. It's pants. You might need it with Poison but it is rubbish anyway so its unlikely to save you much.

For slotting I slotting the meatbags with 2 acc & 3 damage. The knights the same and "Celine" (Zombie Spirits look like Celine Dion, sound like her too) with damage & recharge (however many slots you have).

Mr Lich I ain't got yet but I'd guess at 2 accuracy, 2 hold, 1 fear and 1 damage maybe?

Oh and you should be alright skipping Stamina. I am.

I especially like Afro Storms, its got a nice retro feel to it.

ID is too headwrecking to be using as a buff anyway. Anyone shouting about a kinetics not keeping the team buffed with ID can safely be ignored.

That said its handy to slap on Mr Alpha Absorber and anyone particuarly squishy pre-fight (Dominators for example). But not having it doesn't equate to being a bad Kinetics.

I did it via the Option > Controls menu. Less fancy than Binds but it was far easier to set up.

I set the Numpad numbers to select team members, Numpad 0 is Speed Boost (actually just "Fire Slot number 7" where SB is), Numpad. is Increase Density (slot 8), Numpad enter is Transfusion (the healing one, I get them mixed up: Slot0 anyway) and bounces off their target. Finally Numpad+ is Aid Other (which I have for patching up Blasters and other melee-fearing teamies).

Ok, I've remembered some of the suggestions we had before that you don't have.

A Wipeout style high speed race around the edge of Warburg. So a number of laps through a course marked out by Players standing as Flags (like the gates when skiing but less frequent). Wipeout style means you can gank / hold / slow /blast em. No teleporters allowed though, probably just Super Speed / Siphon Speed. People encouraged to go "Missile" in a deep robotic voice for added realism.

Repelion or varients. Storm Controllers, Kinetics, Dark Blast (assuming they were silly enough to get Torrent), nrg blasters and MA scrappers playing some form of football etc with Knockbacks.

AOE Competitions: Clearing as many wild monkeys from PI as you can within a time limit or the like.

Forgotten them all now, as well as the location of the thread, its subject and anything else you could have used to find it. Can't even remember if it was pre or post wipe. The cone blasts are from the Defender / corrupter Dark Blast set.

The shield is probably like a Dark Armour power and the hold looks new

Anyone worked out where the cut off line is?

Like will i7 60% enhanced RI ever be more effective than the current live i6 100% enhanced RI and at what Level minion would that be the case.

Like if it was +6s then basically its pointless to say its more powerful. Its still mostly useless against them since they're still barely affected.

For Mr Reaver it'd be Dead Souls by Joy Division. Yes he's a Necro / Dark MM.

Came on my mp3 player whilst walking home yesterday and reminded me how great (and bleak) it was.

Its also covered by The Cure on the soundtrack for The Crow. But I'll stick with the Joy Division version. It sounds dirtier.

I did Director & Flash in college 8 years ago or so. They still haven't overthrown html in the slightest and are unlikely too, especially since they are licenced software. Much cheaper, development-wise, to bung up a Fedora server, throw on Apache / Tomcat, MySQL and code pages in text on notepad / vi (or jedit in my case) and do it that way.

And now with AJAX becoming a reality one of the main advantages Flash has over Html: not being limited to the request/response model, has been eliminated.

I like a good Flash site. Hell I like a good site regardless of how its made. But its been so abused in use in site ads and the like I really don't want to install it any more and I think this counts against it.

Absolute positioning can be annoying sometimes. You can use Auto margins in CSS instead (with an IE fix thrown in...)

Any chance of making a non-flash bit for those of us who don't have it installed and aren't going to?

I always think just making a flash site is a bad idea. There should be a html link to a basic html version too for us non-Macromedia types.

Why don't I have macromedia installed? Simple. Mostly its used for moving ads on sites and I don't want to see them. Flash = Spam mostly as far as I'm concerned.

It's "doable". Its not a lot of fun though, the 12-28 grind to get IR is painful with just Siphon Speed.

I managed it mainly thanks to the goldbrickers jet pack and the jingle jet. Level 20 when you go to Sharkshead is a complete pain without these.

Basically i wouldn't bother. Get a travel power, hit 28, respec it out for IR. Save yourself a lot of irritation.

Strange, everything i have ever heard about mental blast has been awful. Is it different in the troller epics as i know that /psi defenders usually feel quite resentful at having to take it at lvl 1.
