But yeah, one on one usually goes pretty badly for Bats. Deathstroke is one of my all time favorite characters.
To be fair, I think Taskmaster is just a "normal" human and even though he has the abilities to do whatever he sees, it extends only as far as his physical capabilities. Like he can mimic Spider-Man's movements but he won't be able to jump as far.

Deathstroke on the other hand is enhanced.

Anywho, I thought the title was referring to Disney's takeover of Marvel in general. Didn't know there was a new show out. May need to look into it.

    Great.

Now I can't stop thinking of medicine names as character names.
  3. I was unimpressed with Annihilation but I've always been interested in Thanos so I may look into this in trades.
  4. More like, "Please read Spider-Man again!"
  5. Did anyone already bring up how Peter tried selling the webbing formula in the comics before but they turned him down because it dissolves after an hour?

I meant in the preview for next week. I could have swore he specified which Alpha they were to go after next.
  7. Did anyone see what Alpha Crowley asked them to bring in the next ep? I missed that.

We do not speak of it.
  9. Spider-Man would be a Green Lantern.

And yes, I did mean "wary."
I think by "stupid" you mean "awesome."

I don't mind Snyder's use of slow-mo, since it's not like he goes overboard with it and it will likely come in handy when dealing with a character that can move almost at the speed of light.

And Snyder has shown that he can balance action with powerful characterization.

I would think it's pretty obvious that Sucker Punch is meant to be fantastical and loaded with awesome, but I'm sure focusing on those parts in the trailer is only going to help draw more people to see the movie and they'll be more to it than that.

    You mean wary?

And if so, why do folks keep saying that?
  13. So Clyde is Mosquito and Kyle is The Human Kite, right?
  14. Also,

Martin Sheen to play Uncle Ben?

Didn't see anything posted about either of these items yet.

    I withhold judgment.
    I think it'll be like Pan's Labyrinth.

Only with cute chicks fighting giant gatling-gun-wielding-samurai.

Fighting off another hoard of zombies this week or rival group of survivors or scavenge for food or medicine or finding shelter so you can at least rest for a while without worry could get tiresome really quick. I haven't read the comic so I have no idea where this series could be going but I'll stick it out for this season.
I've only read the first two hardcovers, but from what I saw it seemed like the creator wanted the interaction of the people and generally what the situation was doing to the characters to be the focus instead of the situation itself.

I fear if it continues to spin out of control that it might not last much past its fourth season.
I was referring to the fact that the TV show adds a lot more material and actually manages to be better than the books, and it's one of the few shows that one can point to as an example of a series based on another serial medium like The Walking Dead.

Some of the best shows ever made are ones that understand that sometimes "less is more" and that to do the material justice you don't have to run it into the ground or "jump the shark" as quickly as possible.
On the other hand: True Blood.

  22. Basically it's going to try to cover two issues per episode then? And the finale will have them where they were at the end of the first hardcover?
