Or you could like...play a tank, an AT which does that exact same job a whole lot better. If you want range and aoe goodness as well, try a spines/willpower scrapper, they can do the same thing a whole lot better and are a lot more surviveable.

I understand your complaint if you have the Not Looking For Team option up, which highlights your name in bright red =P But if you don't have a flag up, don't complain =)

If you are on a windows computer, hold down the ctrl key and hit f. Type into this box a word or phrase you want to find on the bind list (for example, targeting) and hit Find Next or Enter. It will browse through the thread and show you each time it says that word or phrase in the thread each time you hit Find.

This thread is full of extreme...wait for it...wait for it...LOL!!!!

I absolutely refuse to believe that the OP has experience with the regen set. I personally find that I do MUCH better with regen than any other set. I have a level 40 MA/Regen, a 20 DM/Regen, a 10 BS/Regen, and if I had the time and space, I would make new characters with Regeneration paired with every primary.

All of my regens can tank by the mid teens. They heal back the damage they take 90% of the time (i'll be honest I do have bad times, but not nearly enough to not play the set).

I believe that the misconception of the OP is that he is looking at numbers, not play style. Sure, I'll take damage, and maybe even get down to red. But in a fraction of a second, i'll be almost full of health. And while they try to get me back down, i'll be regenerating half of their damage and using my self heals about every 10-15 seconds.

So, in conclusion, NEWB.

I would recommend the Mastermind section of the forums. This section is for posting guides, not asking for builds.

I will work on updating the guides either this weekend or during next week, so if you want to get in a new guide or update your current one, now is the time to do it. I have an updated guide or 2 already.

Many people like to have a description telling of the epic tales and adventures their characters have gone through and to tell a story of how they gained their powers. However, a large amount of these people just can't write it. They don't have creative enough ideas. Let's face it: we've all seen descriptions that just plain suck. The purpose of this guide is to spark your imagination and begin the path of writing your interesting and epic description!

Now, many people know me as an immature little kid obsesses with leaks (Liberty joke). Although that is true, I also have a more serious and mature side, leading me to being a writer. So yes, this is really a guide to writing.

So where do you start? First you want to think of what your character's personality is. Is he an evil emperor? A kind hearted fellow? Even if he's a sea monster who lost his way, you always have to start by establishing a personality.

Next, you have to take this personality to either select or make up a place of origin. For example, if your character is an evil king, maybe he's from the forbidden world of Kin-Za-Ra. This will be the beginning of your description: his, her, or it's personality and location of origin.

Next you get into the real interesting part: how your character got it's powers andn what they were doing when it happened. This is basically the entire body of your decription. In my example of an evil emperor from a forbidden world, he was at a conference one day discussing the building of a torture chamber in the dark woods (make sure you get plenty of detail to make it interesting!) when he heard a thud that seemed to be emitting (use big words to make you sound smart!) from the basement. His body guards proceeded to search the basement, and found a long, thin bone. The emperor proceeded to pick up the bone, and felt a strange feeling (try to add in a mysterious vibe). He then, for an unexplained reason, began to attack all of the evil men around him. He proceeded to run outside and search for the few nice people left in his forbidden world. Once he found them, he swore to them that he would fight for good.

Next, you want to describe how your character got to Paragon City. In my example, the evil emperor was lead to Paragon City by the unnamed nice people, who were quite glad to have someone fighting for the good of the people, especially such a strong man.

End your description with what your character does in the city and what people think about him. In my example, everyone is happy that there is such a good warrior fighting for them. They are not sure what the bone did to influence him, but they don't question it, as long as he fights for the good of the people and keeps them safe.

Well, that's about it. I hope I have sparked some ideas to help you write your description. Remember to always use proper grammar to make it understandable. If you don't, it won't be nearly as entertaining.

What if you want more of a statement than a story? I went for this approach with my Illusion/Radiation Controller. To create a feeling, it is better to follow along with your character's powers. How do the 2 sets work together? What kind of feeling does your fighting give? As an example, here is basically what my Ill/Rad controller has:

Well Geko, it finally happened. You didn't complain about MoG. DId you think this would ever happen? I sure didn't. I wasn't too sure whether to get it on my MA/Regen Scrapper, but after what you said, I think I'll pick it up at 41.

That sounds like an interesting combo. I don't think I've ever seen one that I can remember, so you might not be able to find a guide on those sets specifically. But I would recommend Luminara's archery guide and choose one of the more recent guides that contains electric manipulation.
