Zero levels gained
494 Million Infamy earned on Burnin Fury, my Fire/Fire Brute. 82 million away from the last infamy badge. -
Well, I managed to make 494 million over the weekend leaving me 82 million shy of that infamy badge. Did my exemplar to 47 with my exemplar in another zone and hunted 48-51 Rikti over in Point du Hoc. I should be able to knock out the rest via tf's and then make many more attempts at the MoLRSF. Going to try and get a set team of individuals and rotate characters in depending on needs.
-
I think the extra can be either one.
-
I got the first 5 without farming on my Fire/Fire tank, don't remember how long that took but I was playing him pretty much every day. For the first 2 1/2 - 3 years I only had 3 characters, but mainly just played the Fire/Fire tank. I did farm the last 2 though.

I tend to play 3-4 hours a day

... With respect, you may be on the high end of "hours played per week".

It depends, I play about that much but most of it is spent goofing around.

Well quit goofing around! -
I have a SS/Shield that is 35, so far the only end problems I had was pre-20 before I got stamina. This was one of my project characters, I did every mission from every contact so far, often turning off my xp or meeting the bare requirements of the mission to complete it. I was able to buy a miracle +rec with merits at 24 I believe from all the story arc's completed. I slot sets at level 30 using level 33's so I have a lot of +recovery set bonuses that are available to me for the rest of my career and even when I exemp down to 30. So, my suggestion would be to slot sets that give you either +end or +recovery as your funds allow. If you want to change your build at 50 you still can or use the dual build feature to make a 50 build.

You'll never get a full set to drop yourself. If you want sets, you're gonna have to use the market.
[/ QUOTE ]
I disagree with this statement, I've gotten all my purple sets from drops. The drops may not have occurred on the particular character that needed it, but I have 4 50's that have multiple purple sets slotted all from drops. I refuse to pay out the amounts people want on WW/BM.
So my advice, stay out of AE, no purples there. Solo or stick to small efficient teams. Be patient, you are not going to get them in a week (unless you are buying them). I tend to play 3-4 hours a day and average a purple a day when playing my 50's. If you have a character that can handle large spawns, hit the wall in cimerora or fight rikti in the RWZ. -

Seriously, though, to the best of my knowledge we won't be changing minimum sizes of TF's/SF's. The minimum sizes stand as "warning labels" to newer players that these missions are more difficult/time consuming/whatever than other missions. It's a small, but important function.
[/ QUOTE ]
TF team sizes really need to change, besides the Positron TF and Numina TF of the original 6, they all have AV's at the end. Why would you need more players to defeat the AV's as the levels increase? Hopkins is no harder than Vandal, and I think the Clockwork King and Clamor are tougher than either, but require less to start. All TF's should be at least lowered to 4 to start, and provide a recommended number of players, I think the new TF's do this. The shard tf's I think would get a lot more play as well if the starting requirements were lowered. -
Seeing as 5 mil per hour is pretty doable, that would put the last badge at about 400 hours. Throw in some double xp weekends and the hours are drastically reduced. I'd say that is epic and within reason.

Also, I have done the "pull Rommy" and fight him once. Sorry, no pics (so it didn't happen), but here's what I can tell you:
1. We did the initial ambush, then skipped to Rommy.
2. Somehow Imperious managed to live and followed us all the way to the end.
3. We had aggro control on one Nictus, Impy on the other Nictus, and everyone else pulling Rommy away and pounding on him. We did get him stuck in a corner (I want to say near the staircases on each side of the main platform), so that might have limited his mobility.
4. I was healing Impy so he would continue to hold aggro and keep the Nictus away from Rommy.
5. Eventually the team took out Rommy, and he disappeared just like any other mob. No rezzing.
Of course, this did leave us with three other freaking annoying AV Nicti that we had to take out, which presented its own challenges.
In short, perfectly possible to defeat Rommy only once, but sort of situational & there are other methods to victory which are easier to reproduce.

QFT
This happened by accident this past weekend on a run. I would not wish this on anyone. It was very difficult separating the 3 nictus at that point but was eventually done, but added about 20 min to the TF. -
I'll try to put together some data this evening. Particularly, how much I get for killing a +1, +2, +3 rikti by type when exemplar is in same zone and different zone, and +1, +2, +3 with no exemplar.
-
Reported many times, PM'd to many dev's, not changed for the past 3 double xp's, no bug hunter on my hero too.

I just re-read this :

On my Brute I was making about 22-24 mil per hour exemping to 47 and fighting groups of 50's in RWZ while my exemplar on my second account sat in the sg base. Hero side people run the first mish of Katie til their eyes bleed for 20-25 mil per hour during double xp.
[/ QUOTE ]
Was that first part a typo? you were getting 22-24 mil and hour street sweeping effectively +3s in RWZ I get about 1/10th that non exmped ... anytime I have run exemplared I get a slight boost but nothing on that level. .. if true I must test and kick myself for wasting weeks of not months of time
as far as the first mission of Katie Loops that sounds about right I was remembering it being 5 mill a run at ~14 minutes a run.
[/ QUOTE ]
This was only during a double xp weekend, haven't tried it without double xp. And no this wasn't just comm officers, this was just street sweeping level 50 rikti groups in RWZ. Things seem to, I don't know quadruple+ when your exemplar is not in the same zone as you. -
[ QUOTE ]
I have about 400 million earned, and the epic badges are just .... well very hard to attain.
What critters drop the most influence?
[/ QUOTE ]
I've found that exemping and not being in the same zone as my exemplar earns the most. There are a few mobs that reward better than others (Ritki Comm Offiicers, Rikti Mentalist Lt's, Any variety of Mushroom from the DE group, Devoured Bosses, Longbow in general, Fake Nemesis, Clockwork, Lost Bosses and AV's)
[ QUOTE ]
Luckily my first character created and my main badger makes a great farming toon. When i16 hits I will have more motivation to get these badges with the spawn size increase option. (maybe)
[/ QUOTE ]
What is your AT?
[ QUOTE ]
Or would you say that teaming, say doing tf's would be just about as good for influence earnings?
[/ QUOTE ]
I fight in the RWZ with my Brute (currently at 1.4 Billion) since there are no hazard zones on the V side. I did the same with my Tank (has Leader). To break up the boredom of Soloing, I would jump on various SFs/TFs if the opportunity arose. I flash back to arcs also that I like to run. Like what was said earlier, Double XP weekends are your biggest bang for your time. On my Brute I was making about 22-24 mil per hour exemping to 47 and fighting groups of 50's in RWZ while my exemplar on my second account sat in the sg base. Hero side people run the first mish of Katie til their eyes bleed for 20-25 mil per hour during double xp.
Bottom line, a lot is dependent on what AT you're playing. -
It's Friday, there is always maintenance on Fridays. Be patient, they should be up around 10:00 to 10:30 am EST.

I think I made up my mind, I'm keeping it as is and not changing it to auto-sk. Had the same thought after talking with the wife.
-
I was going to pose that question as well to solicit feedback. It has done well the way it is currently published.
-
I believe influence is based on your level and the level of the mob you are fighting, there was a table along time ago, which probably changed with the xp smoothing. I know defeating a level 54 Rikti Boss in the RWZ with a level 50 character solo nets me well over 60K.
-
My mission recently made it to Hall of Fame and there have been a few that suggested that I make the arc auto level to 50 to allow mixed level teams to play it.
If I edit the arc, will it lose it's hall of fame status? -
I know this is a bit off topic, my problem is the scroll button click which normally locks your character and you are able to rotate. When I click the scroll button on the mouse it just freezes the screen for a second and does nothing. Any suggestions for that particular problem?
-
I think the going rate is about 1.5 influence to 1 infamy. 400 million influence would get you about 267 million infamy. I can accommodate, I'm loaded on both sides of the fence.
-
My point is 108% slow should be slowing mobs. It is not slowing them. If I was on a TA, glue arrow without enhancements is 90% base, things run very slowly when hit with it. Is the slow component of LR broken?
-
I'm well aware of the -Regen component, I really only see that benefit maybe 1-2 times a game play session since most mobs don't last long enough for regen to be an issue. For my every spawn use, 108% slow should bring mobs to a crawl, but it doesn't. Lots of slow typically means that mobs typically don't get a chance to flee.
-
I've been leveling up a Sonic/Rad Corruptor in a duo with my wife's Fire/Fire Brute, currently both level 37. I picked up Lingering Radiation at level 22 but I'm very unhappy with it's performance, particularly the slow component. Does anyone know if this is broken? I have the power slotted with 5 Tempered Readiness which puts it at about -108% slow and Maxrunspeed of -3.5 according to in game real numbers. With all of that, it doesn't slow down nothing that I've noticed compared to my Ill/Rad and my wife's Rad/Rad Defender. Anyone else notice this? Could it be that it is resisted by higher level mobs (play on 5th difficulty doing regular story arc content, so +2 and +3's)?
