  1. 'No, Dad,' his insufferable daughter protests. 'There are killer mimes everywhere, half the town is radioactive, and the other half is being sued out of existence for trying to stop the mimes.'

  2. Seems a little imbalanced to me in terms of defensive and offensive abilities. Lots of summons, lots of multi-target attacks, and resistances. Not that the Crab Spiders aren't extremely similar to your current concept, they do have trade-offs.

Other than that, needs less Devoured/Nature in the names, and I'd /sign.

I'm sure if the Devs picked up on it though, they'd fix all that.

    LOL.

I'm actually inclined to believe it is just a graphical thing when the water loads in or something, but I felt like conspiracy theories have to be spread.

  4. Perhaps the danger is closer than it appears?

No. There is however an Issue 20 Pre-Beta Sneak Peek on an MMO Review site. Check my posts for it, shouldn't be too far down. Under the speculation thread.

    Edit: Nevermind. Found it myself.

The screenshots on that link lead me to believe otherwise. It's Incarnate only, and it clearly states that we shouldn't let Mindwashed Prisoners escape.

I would say i25ish.
1 Incarnate != Zone Cap of Incarnates, just sayin'.

However, in terms of a plot device, I still don't think we'll face him when we get our last slot. We'll be too busy dealing with Mender Silos and his made up story of the "Coming Storm."

Ramiel is more of a friend than we are lead to believe. Perhaps even the Resistance against the Mender scheme. He wouldn't have been the only person left in Ouroborus, or the person we would trust with information on changing our past.

We've already altered the future far too much with the Incarnate actions, and quite obviously our Hamidon (Or Praetoria's) is now on our Earth, and capable of reaching the Ouroborus lair.

  7. The true question is this.....

Which Issue will we get to fight this baddie?

I'm lead to believe that by the time we are cut off from our Incarnate power source, IE. We are cut off at Omega by some plot driven force, we will be too busy dealing with Silos and his own Resistance. Maybe an issue or two after that?
  8. Not exactly the same problem, but one of the NPCs on Doc Quantum's Moral Quandary has the PBAoE Dmg Dark Armor toggle, and he will quite often kill his captors.
  9. My Ill/Rad, if my build concept in Mid's is fully put into play, will likely have Cardiac. Maybe even the Musculature Def Debuff when solo.

The ED bypass on Spiritual w/o the higher tiers isn't as useful to me as I would like it to be.

Not saying I'd get all three of those, but they add consistant chance to hit on everything, not just the guy you hit with PR last.
But having the 2 debuffs increases overall DPS. Accuracy will do that, but it's not going to be significant on a VEAT w/ autos and TT.
  11. You "Rule of Five'd" the Performance Shifter's End/Rech on Stamina. Replace that with an Efficacy Adapter End Mod.

Other than that, I'm not much of a Brute person, and I don't know what your aims are.

    Ill/Rad Build

    Alrighty. Here's the new one.

Attempted to give up my obsession for being unmezzed.

I still took Fire Shield, because 3 slotting Fire Blast didn't seem right, considering I already have an attack chain with the current powers.

The strength of an Ill/Rad is distraction, debuffing and single target damage. You have left out one of the main strengths of the combo.
I'll rework that. May slot it with Apocalypse, if I have to lose Global Recharge anywhere.

You have a number of other problems, too. Why take Grant Invis when you have Superior and Group Invis? If you just want it for a LotG Recharge mule, why not take Combat Jumping instead? It at least gives you Immob protection and maneuverability.
I took it for aiding my team's defense, LotG muling, and because I didn't want the end consumption from CJ.

Indomidible Will is mainly a mez protection click power. You have it slotted as a Defense power -- it only gives defense to Psi. It should be slotted for Recharge far more than Defense . . if you take it at all. An Ill/Rad using Phantom Army, Spectral Terror and Deceive should not usually have a problem with getting mezzed. My guide explains why I recommend the Fire or Ice Pool over Psi.
IW is mainly because I have an issue with getting mezzed and I was after global rech, since I normally play toons with toggles that give mez protection. It's one of my biggest peeves about my Fire/Kin's build, since I haven't respec'd him recently. If IW doesn't protect from Immob (Currently respecing my Widow, so I can't the power atm), then I'll take CJ instead.

Oh, and I'm big about running Mo groups, so that was another factor in mind.
  14. I like my VEATs more than any of my characters, but I don't like Claws, Psi, or SR all that much as regular ATs.

I guess I'd have to say my favorite powerset is Fire.

    I can:
    Kill it with Fire.
    Burn it with Fire.
    Out-DPS it with Fire.
    AoE it with Fire.
Let out out my inner-pyro without the evil leprechaun telling me to.

    Ill/Rad Build

    Here's the new one.

I reworked it to keep myself near 45% resist, while maintaining high recharge and near perma-IW.

I figured my PA, Phantasm, and Spectral Terror would keep most aggro from me, so Regen wouldn't be a big factor for me.

In the guide, I have discussion about slotting the various powers and several builds, including a Perma PA build. I'm in the process of updating the guide for I-19, but other than inherent Stamina, it is up to date.

One small example: Your slotting in Phantom Army misses a Recharge bonus and some extra damage. Replace the Soulbound Acc/Rech with the Expediant Acc/Dam. Then replace the Soulbound Acc/Dam/Rech with the Soulbound Chance for Build Up.
Thanks for that. I hadn't payed attention to the fact that my PA was already in the DR range when it came to recharge.

Gonna take a look through the guide for anything else I may have missed

I really want to be able to color the SoA lazers. The red inner core and red beams really restrict color choices in the costumes if you wish to coordinate a decent look.

Weapon customization shouldn't be that big of a deal, it's on the costume portion, not the power portion. Claws already have their animations etc.. pretty much everything in HEAT or VEAT has an animation somewhere in the base AT's... so why coloring it is such a big deal is beyond me.

I posted in the request thread, but I really don't expect to see this happen any time soon. I'm sure they are more focused on tweaking the upcoming Incarnate content.
Kheld forms are separate models in themselves. You'll have to look at BaB's posts about Granite Armor as to why things are the way they are.

But in all seriousness, CLU needed said item, because without it, he would be considered a Program and be unable to enter the "real world." A plot device explained by Flynn himself and Cora.

With the story holes, you expect some problems and over sites, but no where near what was described. The fact that there is a "club" in the movie shows that their is somewhat a lack of understanding of why the original movie was the way it was. Even without seeing it I can say that much.
Having seen the first movie several times, I'm a little confused as to what your trying to say here. The first movie was about Flynn attempting to prove Dillinger was stealing his work. The beginning of this movie showed a hint of that, but there was a drastic plot change.

There's a tyrannical utopia in this movie. The club, like in a real world instance, seems to be the resistance to change. It is dealt with as hastily as it is introduced.

There's an opening for a sequel, and without ruining the movie, I can't attempt explain WHY something could have happened.

The rest of what your saying is beyond scrambled. I have no idea what you're saying.
  20. I don't touch AE, because I'm satisfied with the game's own content. I'm big into the lore, and I try my best to figure out what's coming next.

In addition, AE doesn't yield the rewards that I strive after in the game. I've gotten all the AE badges, and I'm always after reward merits and purple recipes.

I've got an arc still published that's mainly full of allusion. It gets played and rated occasionally, and never ceases to surprise me that players were willing to break from regular content to participate in my story-telling adventure. I just can't find myself breaking from my regular scheme of things, because I enjoy what I'm already doing.

    New loading screens
Hi-res and new textures for the older costume pieces
    Animated faces, fingers and hair

All of that thanks to a completely new engine!

And I want it for Xmas
Well, 1 of those is a known delivery. Some Dev said that the animated fingers and etc. were being worked on in a previous chat.

Illusion for Dominators just doesn't seem viable, because the set is hardly "control" as it is. Domination would be near worthless, unless the pets were reworked to deal more damage and hold more aggro, while the controlling Dom has the buff on.
  22. I'd think that Judgement AND Interface will be coming out with i20, as well as our final Alpha tier.

    1. Judgement is in-game in 1 of the 4 forked paths. [Ion Radial Judgement]

    2. Interface is a pet system, thanks to our friendly neighborhood pigg divers.

    3. They need to test the level-shift on Alpha tier and inspirations, in order to make sure they're not causing enemies to become over/underpowered or broken, particularly in high-end raids me-thinks. (Level 51+ HOs again anyone?)

    4. New TF. It's inevitable. We've read interviews. (Where's that one about the Mother Mayhem hospital attack?)
    http://massively.joystiq.com/2010/11...ity-of-heroes/

Found it, and it even has screenshots and information on a multi-team trial.

    4.5 Coletron http://www.blogcdn.com/www.massively...010/11/p04.jpg

    5. Mender Nemesis clearly has something up his sleeve, and as per the Lore page, he may attempt to contact alternate versions of himself. Particularly the ones that aren't already dead/hate him in the PI arcs.

I'd work on a log parser myself, but I'd prefer not to delve into memory scanning.

Honestly, I didn't even notice that CLU was CGI, until his final scene as he yelled and flailed his arms. My stepfather still thinks it was just Flynn with hair dye.

During the movie, I was so inspired to work on something. I've downloaded a SourceForge project on an already complete 3D-lightcycle game in hopes of gathering some ideas, and eventually making a small freeroam for a portfolio.

I need to pick of the Evolution game. Even with the bad reviews from Game Informer, I hardly believe what critics say, since I take their reviews as an under-the-table-payment-for-higher-reviews grain of salt.

Oh, and that keyboard is amazing.
