I've been having problems with this too. The lag is only a minor annoyance for me though. I thought it was simply time to upgrade my rig. But if everyone's having it, that means that it's definitely an optimization issue.
The real problem is how freakin' bright it is in a few spots. Tonight I even commented to my team "This is waaaay too bright here", and got a unanimous response. -

One thing I didn't like in Endgame was the plot device about "Kell has the most kills of all active immortals" thus we are to think that Kell who isn't much older then Duncan is nearly unstoppable, plus had he taken down Duncan it would have been his 666th kill...... I always felt that quality of the quickening beats quantity. Duncan slew many immortals older then himself, some being ancients like Grayson and two of the horsemen. I don't think absorbing Connor's quickening was all that necessary to defeat Kell but they wanted to kill Connor.

Oh yeah, I can agree with the athletic build complaint. If she's going to be smacking around villains, well, she should look like she can at least lift a microwave with ease. Or actually hold someone in a headlock. =| -

Well the initial plan for the series was that the protagonist was to be Connor Macleod. Lambert liked the idea of a TV series but didn't want to do TV himself and only agreed to be in the pilot episode to pass the torch and declined further episodes. Hence as the series progresses we only get the rare mention of Connor and Connor was even omitted from the flashback in the season 3 ep of the indian funeral pyre that he was in back in the pilot episode. (it was the episode where Duncan fought the immortal Kern).
After Adrian Paul was cast, he suggested/requested that the series be altered so that the protagonist was Duncan Macleod, clansman of Connor. I think but can't recall for sure that his reason was that he didn't want to play Connor and always be compared to how Lambert played the part, but playing an all new Macleod would be better and the two characters could be compared more then the two actors.
The rest as they say....is history.
Also, I think they'd have had to of put in Connors adopted daughter as well...ect...ect... -

Anyway, I'm guessing a decent chunk of WW's persona was a product of what would sell lots of comics. To this day, most of us think of Wonder Woman as Linda Carter, and sex appeal of the character has always front and center in people's mind, followed not too closely by the rather bizarre gadgets she had. Invisible Jet? Magic Lasso? -

All super heroes don't, but the ones that are supposed to be from warrior cultures should look the part. It doesn't have to be taken to the body builder/wrestler extreme, but they should look fit and capable of kicking butt.
Callisto (Hudson Leick) managed to look hardcore when she wanted as well as soft and pretty.
And truthfully, I'd think someone like Lucy Lawless would be all wrong for Wonder Woman. That's not the build for Wonder Woman either.
Seems to be more of a "I want realism in my superheroes" which tend to have the looks of models as it is anyways. -

The -health is often downplayed, but it's essentially like losing ~200% regen. Obviously, it will matter much more on builds like Invul, Shield or SR than Willpower or Dark Armor, but it's there.
Of course, that's on Stalkers, who don't have Power Siphon. -

To me a Vet award should be something unique that can't be gained in any other way. I'm not saying that they should be majorly overpowered or something that would be unbalanced in any way. But by the same token they should never really be anything that we can get via any other method. Basically they should be "special" enough to actually make earning a Vet award worthwhile. For example the Reveal Power is a fine example of a Vet award.
The problem with frespecs as Vet awards is that there's already so many other ways to gain respec tokens that they have nothing to do with being a Vet. You can run respec trials. You can buy respec recipes (via influence or even real money). We even get free ones just handed out to us during many Issue launches. How can something the Devs just toss at anyone really be "cool" enough to pass as a Vet award?
So when we have a three month mark when all we get (besides the badge) is something we can get many other ways what makes that any good as a cool little "thank you" for being a Vet? You may like having lots of respec tokens but there's nothing stopping you from buying as many as you want whenever you want.
Basically when it came down to the 45th and 69th month awards the Devs effectively said "we couldn't really think of anything unique to give you guys so we'll just toss another respec token at you". It's pretty much the laziest non-Vety Vet award we could ever get. *sigh*
Now, I don't need that many on every character, but when it's my main in question...I just love em!

If that's her costume, I really don't have a problem. No it's not classic Wonder Woman with the bikini bottoms, but I kinda wondered how they were going to avoid that.
It could work imo, but I think they have the mind set of "So and so vocal group will complain" so they put her in pants, which work rather well and keep the feel of Wonder Woman. -

Still, I wonder if that same structure can be kept if a mass influx of RPers hit Union. Smaller groups can keep the structure better, which is why I think Union can pull this off now, while virtue can't.
That said, I'd love to go over there, but with my new job, RPing one character is about all I can keep up with right now (not that I was all that great at keeping interrest in any past my main anyways >_>;

Yup. Remember when Zombie's were SLOW, and only in recent time have they become these fast killers.
You know how people keep saying "Don't mess with vampires! I want my hollywood vampires of a long time ago." I say do this only if we get the old style zombies out of it.
They want to move faster? They can get teleport, super speed, all the +SPD IO bonuses they can get their hands on!

Just to add a bit of completeness to this thread the 45th month Vet reward also suffers from the same problem the 69th month one does. All we get is a badge and a respec token there too.
While I think the idea of attaching Jet Packs to either of these awards would be pretty bad I do think they BOTH need to be given something unique because as it stands these are the only two Vet awards that are lacking anything "special" about them.
I am fully willing to go with the idea of putting ALL the costume piece rewards in at character creation for EVERYONE. Then replacing those costume piece rewards with TWO FREE RESPECS!!! \o/
Now mind you, I'd rather have the belly shirts than the Free Respecs (I had been asking for them for so long!), so it's not like I don't care for the costume pieces.
But sure enough, if they just made every vet reward a Free Respec, I'd be happy. -

I was more interested in seeing the Watchers show they originally wanted, focusing on Joe and Methos. but the idea of the Immortal thief did have some promise. the big problem came in when they shoehorned in the detective to have someone around so we'd constantly have the "will she reform for the mortal or wont she?" bull ****. there was probably way more wrong, but i stopped watching after three or four episodes, and havent watched them since their first run.
