I haven't experienced this lag! So it's not everyone.

I always felt that quality of the quickening beats quantity. Duncan slew many immortals older then himself, some being ancients like Grayson and two of the horsemen. I don't think absorbing Connor's quickening was all that necessary to defeat Kell but they wanted to kill Connor.
I think the "want" to kill Connor, was more of a Christopher Lambert is getting to old to continue playing an Immortal, and I'm sure they had planned on releasing more theatrical releases, only they didn't do a great job in the movies to get mass appeal.

Her strength is magical. She's born from clay. She could look like an anorexic preteen and have the strength and durability to to smack around villains and even hold someone in a headlock.

Hence as the series progresses we only get the rare mention of Connor and Connor was even omitted from the flashback in the season 3 ep of the indian funeral pyre that he was in back in the pilot episode. (it was the episode where Duncan fought the immortal Kern).

After Adrian Paul was cast, he suggested/requested that the series be altered so that the protagonist was Duncan Macleod, clansman of Connor. I think but can't recall for sure that his reason was that he didn't want to play Connor and always be compared to how Lambert played the part, but playing an all new Macleod would be better and the two characters could be compared more then the two actors.

The rest as they say....is history.
Well it makes since. If Adrian Paul played the part of Connor, then he would of been compared. And the show may have never lasted as long as it did, because of it.

Also, I think they'd have had to of put in Connors adopted daughter as well...ect...ect...

Anyway, I'm guessing a decent chunk of WW's persona was a product of what would sell lots of comics. To this day, most of us think of Wonder Woman as Linda Carter, and sex appeal of the character has always front and center in people's mind, followed not too closely by the rather bizarre gadgets she had. Invisible Jet? Magic Lasso?
I think of Wonder Woman as the awesome JLU version myself.

Callisto (Hudson Leick) managed to look hardcore when she wanted as well as soft and pretty.
That looks to be more about the personality, than anything else. The look on her face. Which means the new WW could of just been doing a quick pose in the outfit, rather than trying to look the part.

And truthfully, I'd think someone like Lucy Lawless would be all wrong for Wonder Woman. That's not the build for Wonder Woman either.

Seems to be more of a "I want realism in my superheroes" which tend to have the looks of models as it is anyways.

It's definitely not something you'd want to be wearing if you were fighting an angry Greek god. But then, it sounds like she's going to be fighting lawyers and marketing firms, so I guess the extra low-cut bustier and the high heels might be effective for that. I have always thought Wonder Woman needed a new costume, but this isn't a move in the right direction. (Don't like the Jim Lee look either.)

I'm a fan of the character (from the Rucka run and up through the Gail Simone run) but I'll take a pass on this.))
So, the iconic spandex bikini style outfit = AWESOME! But the pleather style pants = OMG! Never fight a god in that?

On Stalkers, EM's DPS seemed to beat out KM's by a significant amount.

Of course, that's on Stalkers, who don't have Power Siphon.

Now this I can agree with. Well, I don't know if her face looks like it hangs down from her temples per se, but then, could they find an actress who could do the roll who had the face, looks, and ability to act?

Wow. What exactly do you consider anorexic? o.O She looks like she's fit, she doesn't look aneroxic at all.

Or does one have to look like they have to be over weight, with a beer gut, and some love handles for you to think they're not aneroxic?

Quick search...34-25-34. How much you want to bet in the comics she has a skinnier waist than that as well?

But by the same token they should never really be anything that we can get via any other method. Basically they should be "special" enough to actually make earning a Vet award worthwhile. For example the Reveal Power is a fine example of a Vet award.

The problem with frespecs as Vet awards is that there's already so many other ways to gain respec tokens that they have nothing to do with being a Vet. You can run respec trials. You can buy respec recipes (via influence or even real money). We even get free ones just handed out to us during many Issue launches. How can something the Devs just toss at anyone really be "cool" enough to pass as a Vet award?

So when we have a three month mark when all we get (besides the badge) is something we can get many other ways what makes that any good as a cool little "thank you" for being a Vet? You may like having lots of respec tokens but there's nothing stopping you from buying as many as you want whenever you want.

Basically when it came down to the 45th and 69th month awards the Devs effectively said "we couldn't really think of anything unique to give you guys so we'll just toss another respec token at you". It's pretty much the laziest non-Vety Vet award we could ever get. *sigh*
When I've respeced my main so many times (and I found it really suckie when I found out I could only buy and use only one Respec with Candy Canes), and still find myself respecing, but I'm out of respecs from my vet rewards (going on 75 month next month), free ones, trials, even the one handed to me for the patron arc...I really really wish I had more respecs. As buying a respec recipe seems like a waste (I could buy a good IO) and I dont want to pay the 9.99 real money for one either.

Now, I don't need that many on every character, but when it's my main in question...I just love em!
  16. If that's her costume, I really don't have a problem. No it's not classic Wonder Woman with the bikini bottoms, but I kinda wondered how they were going to avoid that.

It could work imo, but I think they have the mind set of "So and so vocal group will complain" so they put her in pants, which work rather well and keep the feel of Wonder Woman.

Sounds awesome. Also sounds like there's already a power order to things from what I've read. Ie...haha to any who try to stand up to so and so player.

Still, I wonder if that same structure can be kept if a mass influx of RPers hit Union. Smaller groups can keep the structure better, which is why I think Union can pull this off now, while virtue can't.

    That said, I'd love to go over there, but with my new job, RPing one character is about all I can keep up with right now (not that I was all that great at keeping interrest in any past my main anyways >_>;

I will sign this, if the Zombie pack comes with a MASSIVE -SLOW Passive Power with the purchase of this pack. Where if you have Sprint Toggled on, you're going at walk speed!

Yup. Remember when Zombie's were SLOW, and only in recent time have they become these fast killers.

You know how people keep saying "Don't mess with vampires! I want my hollywood vampires of a long time ago." I say do this only if we get the old style zombies out of it.

They want to move faster? They can get teleport, super speed, all the +SPD IO bonuses they can get their hands on!

Oh yes! If it came with that, I'd think it was GLORIOUS! \o/

While I don't think we really need to go back and edit the vet rewards to give MORE, like suggesting getting more than just a free respec (which to me is just awesome!).

I am fully willing to go with the idea of putting ALL the costume piece rewards in at character creation for EVERYONE. Then replacing those costume piece rewards with TWO FREE RESPECS!!! \o/

Now mind you, I'd rather have the belly shirts than the Free Respecs (I had been asking for them for so long!), so it's not like I don't care for the costume pieces.

But sure enough, if they just made every vet reward a Free Respec, I'd be happy.

Yeah, I wanted the Highlander: Methos Edition, to get kicked off, with or without the watchers. But it didn't happen :/ Amanda wouldn't have been my first choice, I just think the show could of made it with her, if the writing/what have you was just...better!

I have to disagree. Putting her in her own show had potential. It just failed to live up to any of it. I say this, as someone who loved staying up and watching some rather bad shows late at night, that got multiple seasons, which in prime time would of been cancelled.
