  1. Nine - Count me in on the second run - lvl 50 DM/EA Brute - Twisted Metal.
  2. I can only make suggestions for the Kinetic’s side of the equation. To answer the level 32 question, I would cut siphon power, fulcrum shift ( 2acc, 1end, 3recharge), is more than enough. I would go all out on re-charge inc hasten and six slotting siphon speed ( 2acc, 1end, 3recharge), it actually fits into my attack chain, as well as fulcrum shift. I would also 1 slot speed boost and IR, and ID (1 recharge in each).

    Swift, Hurdle, Stamina – Check

Hasten, Super Speed, IR – Check (a great way to get around)

    Leadership - ??

Sonic Attacks – Who cares, no one will notice your damage output they will be screaming “SB please”
  3. This should have been corrected long before now - I recently had to re-install and got shunted over to the US. I think this is intentional.
  4. I have an Ill/Kin, and he is just great to watch and play. BUT I think there is better synergy to be had with and Ill/Rad, and far more depth than the bog standard 2 dimensional Fire/Kin or Fire/Rad.

Ill/Rad is your classic all-round power house for sure.
  5. Hey nice one Doc - Also good to see you back in ARAD
  6. Poison – should be in there some-where, Thugs/Poison is an especially fine combination.

I already run an Arachnos Themed group on Defiant Good luck with yours though, and be sure to /coalition with us!

(Incidentally ARAD will certainly allow any VEAT in amongst our ranks!)

Who are you and what have you done with the real Zaprobo ?
  8. I will not be able to make it – my apologies.
  9. I hope I can get home in time for this - so sign me up - Twisted Metal - Brute lvl 50
  10. That’s the joy of DM, it’s an up and running set from the get go. I have a DM/Energy Aura. Who I enjoy playing immensely. He is however very fragile, but great to solo. You have a very tough choice DM/Fiery Aura, does look so good on paper. Whilst for myself (having gone to 50 with my DM/EA), I wished I had choosen DM/Inv in some respects.

But all told I like the idea of DM/FA – I’m going to have have a look at one on Mids.

I also think Fiery Aura is more aggressive and Invulnerable more defensive. Both would survive well though.

  11. I love it – it’s fast and punchy, you will have a decent low endurance using, fast cycling attack chain early in the game, a great mitigation tool (Touch of Fear). To cap it all off a self heal and a recovery power. All in all I’m chuffed to bits with it. You do not pack the biggest punch, But you will be there at the end still swinging.

Edit - Jeepers I also forgot to mention Soul Drain, a great booster
  12. Boy_Wonder_EU

    Hami

    I'd give it a go
  13. Yeah – thanks for organizing this it took me from 48, to 3 bubbles shy of 50, and you know how hard that last push is – once again many thanks. Oh BTW I hope you don't mind but I 'fricken nuked the Honoree.
  14. From October 31st 2005 to February 25th 2008, and after some 382 times on the prowl totaling 415 hours and 262 badges, Twisted Metal my Dark Melee / Energy Aura brute finally hit the big 5 and 0 last night – Happy Days.

I must say all told I really enjoyed the whole CoV experience. The contacts and zone designs are great. The only downsides for me was the (sometime) lack of teams, the terrible design of Grandville and market availability of certain IO’s
  15. Boy_Wonder_EU

    Nice duels

I must admit I experienced something similar to this on Saturday. A decent group of Heroes and Villains, standing under Atlas in RV (Defiant), one on one, pounding the snot out of each other. Some very funny banter - strictly NO trash talk. All in all good stuff and not at all like some post would have us believe.

Oh and the other good thing about it was no one ran, you either won of lost.
  16. Twisted Metal - DM/EA - Brute (lvl47)
  17. Boy_Wonder_EU

    Guess whos back!

Let me guess - Slim Shadey ??
  18. Robots/ Traps for great RP synergy as well packing a fair bit of fire power. Also you can’t help but think that the robot pets have character.

    Welcome back

I also just restarted my account about a week ago, as did Quoth

Aren't you the original Dagger Boy ??
  20. Excellent job - I have seen you around.
  21. Shannon – you are right – perhaps I should set out to lead small teams more often.
  22. Does any one else find that a teams expectations of a low level tank far exceed their actual ability to deliver? I mean taking the alpha and absorbing the agro between lvls 1-20 seems to me to be a recipe for death and debt. Of course not every team has a defender capable of watching your back either.
  23. Eye of the tiger man, eye of the tiger!!

p.s. What time is kick off ?
