Actually, they do check things just besides how you're doing in PvP. Also, the do make bug fixes and don't just keep adding things. Sure, they don't get them all, but they do fix things.

Don't forget the click power standardization hasn't actually gone into effect yet. Only the toggle one has. Plus, don't the 2 ally bubbles already root when cast?

Didn't you see in the patch notes that the Sense of Humor power got nerfed?

Surprised this wasn't in here before:

To bypass the updater, create a shortcut to CityOfHeroes.exe (not the updater). Right click the shortcut and click Properties. In the Target line, modify it to match this:

"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CityOfHeroes.exe" -project coh

here are instructions to connect with other patch servers. Your speeds may increase when connecting to another patch server.

Please perform the following steps.

Click Start > Run
Type- cmd
Hit OK
Type- nslookup cohupdate.coh.com
Hit Enter

This will provide a list of IP addresses at the bottom.

Browse to your City of Heroes folder.
Right-click cohupdater.exe and choose Create Shortcut
Right-click the new shortcut and click Properties
The target line will say something similar to-

"C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe"

Modify that to say-

For example: "C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\CohUpdater.exe" -ps 64.154.197.13

Enter one of the ip addresses from the nslookup at a time. Please try using this shortcut to start the updater with each of the IPs listed. Let us know if any of the addresses help the issue.

They removed Dom's toggle dropping in PVP? I don't remember seeing that in the patch notes...

Did you keep them on Definsive/Follow the whole time or did you ever use Attack My Target or somesuch to change their stance or disposition?

Wow...Castle mentions EM in the Blaster forums and people get their panties in a bunch because they think he's talking about Energy Melee. Yup. That's the only set with the initials of EM. Good thing there isn't a Blaster secondary called Energy Manipulation.

Geesh...we get the point. You don't like how Patron Powers are going to be impletmented and don't seem to like the devs. Talk about a broken record. Though all this knee jerking and arm chairing is fun, we're all really just talking out of our hind quarters until we actually have more info to go on. Like when it's been on test and we've had a chance to see how all this works. Might suck like a Dyson. Might be cooler then dry ice. One thing is for sure though: there will be lots of silly flame wars about it.

Incompetence is a very harsh word and one that I don't use lightly.

Maybe I've just had too many bad experiences with management, but more often than not people in positions of authority fail to see the forest for the trees, as it were.

Seriously, I find it difficult to think of a better word to use. While I didn’t like ED, the way it came bounding at us on the heels of the i5 nerfs (or was it the i6 nerfs? They’re starting to blur together) after Jacks statement that there would be no more major nerfage…wow! Talk about a PR debacle!

Just a random thought, and if my suggestion was already mentioned, feel free to ignore my post (just not /ignore ):

Range scaling with level so that as you went up in lvls the max range on powers would increase asswell.

Wow...didn't realize how poorly typed my post was.

A hover over describing overall color for a row would be nice. Some kind soul had made two pics that labled each row for the skin and part color tables, but the links are not longer working. :/

He raise an old thread, but hte links aren't working anymore and they were really helpful.
