Want to meet one of those...
[/ QUOTE ]
Me too. Should be a sight to behold, a miracle even -
Sounds nice. I'll sign up for this. Got a few toons lvl +45 both heroes as well as villains. Seeing you got only a few support toons and i almost exclusively play defs/trollers and corrs/domis i'll ride one according to need.

Enjoyable guide Carni
TA is very nice set which is unjustified much underappreciated. Also think with grav you picked good primary with it indeed. Sing not being effected by the slick so much and wormholing feasts on top of EMP arrow/disrup arrow/slick.
Slapping procs in slow recharging powers like e.g. glue arrow is a bad idea though; waste of inf and precious slots. In AoE immob like your crushing field they are glorious though! -

Or did I simply not get the point in being a Corruptor?(playing this game for approx. 5 weeks now)

YupBut no worries, we all start at zero and ascend.

It's worth it, played my dark/elec as totally awesome debuffer/drainer that way. Power Mastery with Power Build Up FTW!
-
For a lvl 49 power it's a good time for something that requires little slots. Fun powers so to say like Bonfire or the team friendly Recall Friend. Inertial Reduction is a nice pick too. Might even consider slipping the whole leaping pool all together and take IR instead. It leaves another powerpick when dropping both cj and sj, though imo cj is pretty sweet for the immob protection as well as it being a good place to generally drop a Karma -KB IO in
Many ppl don't like IR as it needs to be recast and on a troller having Kin as secondary i think that's understandable- although on a Kin def i certainly take it instead of leaping pool, or any other travel for that matter -save SS being a elligible option cos it's so damn nice zipping around like speedy gonzales on crack while having a good minor stealth (stacking to invis with stealth IO...) at the same time- and only one extra power pick from hasten...
Just ponder over your build and make it the way you feel it suits your playstyle while at the same time being fun and effectively usefull. And the latter means don't take the fighting pool! -

okay, ill take out tough then.
Would leadership be any good?
with fulcrumshift and siphon power.. will i really notice difference?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well leadership is nice, but not a big asset on a fire/kin imo especially with siph power and FS indeed.
Like suggested take hasten asap (instead of Kick/Tough) Stack that +rech!!!
Ring of Fire is also nice but can be put of till later when you will be facing lot of AV's. But then again the -KB from it is pretty usefull all the way for a kin too.
Preferences of playstyle really come into play here, so up to you. -
Argh you deleted your post about ID
But i wrote my reply so you getting it still!
ID= Increase Density.
Effectively a very nice buff (with short duration though, so a pain to keep up (perma) which you shouldn't as you got better things to do)
All in all it makes your Imps a lot more effective as they won't be stunned, KB'ed, held or immobilized anymore while buffed by this. (think of those poor imps wondering around incapacitated like drunken monkeys when stunned and you think: "Come one you worthless [censored] gimp!") From mid lvl and up stuns (and KB on all lvls) are very common and hinder your Imps slaughtering the mobs. And don't assume for a minute that any Emp or Sonic or any other Kin thinks about them- and who can blame them tbh?)
Also adds some nice resis which buffs -however awesome they are- their weak spot: great dam, but at the same time very, very squishie. -

Oh noes! It's Stage!!! Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun! -
Better leave out both Kick and Tough from fighting pool. it's silly and you could get 2 much more usefull powers instead.
Take hasten way way WAY earlier. The spot of Kick is a good time to take it, or maybe even earlier and moving smoke back a a few lvls.
Ring of Fire is a prefered pick over Tough. It adds some okay dam and even more so provides anti-KB (very usefull being a kin with transfusion and transference) And on top of it in endgame you can easily immob AV's with it which is very handy.
Last but not least for PvE i'd advice you to stick with your original plan to keep away from acro and get a -kb IO. For this you could take ID instead of acro and plummet a steadfast KB prot in there. ID is also VERY nice for your vulnerable imps as well as having good teaming value for other squishies on your team (offering KB prot+stun/hold/immob prot) like blasters/trollers/defs and also to occasionally boost the s/nrg resis of melee types like scraps and tanks.
-
Drifting away a bit from your original thoughts by sharing some new inspiration; but you ever thought about a fire/cold?
You'd be pretty much a pioneer (which is fun in itself) and playing an imo very promising, strong combo.
A heavy (AoE) dam output primary reaping great rewards from scourge with it's many added DoT that on the other side is being balanced by lacking any form of damage mitigation like mezzes or any secondary debuffs. (just the scattering and slow from RoF)
This paired with and very smooth playing AoE rich secondary powerset having awesome both AoE and ST debuffing (-def, -res, -recharge and slow). 5 powers that range from at least good to excellent: infrig/sleet/benumb/heatloss) and the excellent +HP buffing Frostwork.
[Though on a sidenote imho Heat loss should get a moderate boost to it's recharge to make it go from good to totally awesome -as of the category Fulcrum Shift- because atm it sadly recharges as slow as a nuke.]
Add to these forementioned qualities damn good utility (snowstorm, arctic fog -including resist to slowand sleet), some decent shields and a big recov buff and res debuff from heatloss.
To me this seems like brilliant material opening gates to sheer AoE heaven.
It also offers very good ST debuff/dam/buff with undervalued very effective AV/hero smacking potential. Works great in teams big or small as well as solo.
From all the many different corrupter combo's a fire/cold has honestly been on the top of my personal shortlist since a long time now. (Btw regarding the concerned sets I have a ice/cold at 50, a fire/dark around lvl 40 and played ice/dark till in the 20's before deleting it- due to the combination of lack of slots and new ideas)
-
Hahaha. Why you need a tanker at all? Bring a few trollers and all is solved even at a better rate. And pass them the buffs+heals pwwwls

Rooks approves of this build.

Well no worries then. If it's got the Rook approved seal you can't go wrong. On top of that some other experienced players on here seem to like your different and original approach, so you're in the clear dude
Have fun! -
Aaargggggh. He's right again!!!

...Also if a Stalker is confused they become perma-hidden and always hit Criticals, lovely.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh yes lovely indeed... Thumbs up to the mind and plant domis out there as well as the mind and ill trollers. Or ice trollers running AA (to decrease stealth) -
Well done! And thnx for letting us known. Could really use the heads up.
-
It's a great power. Annoying short duration though, but no need to spam it all the time on everyone. Just the squishies and on occasion a tank/scrap for the extra res.
Defs should absolutely take it, you are support toons primarily (even though kins lend themselves very well for an offending role) so being able to demezz your teammates -and to slighter extend buff res- is a must imo.
For trollers it would be lovely if you got it, but not a big hassle when not since the primary already offers so many other nice powers. -
Thats just a specific mobs. Nullifiers are infamously ruthless in their massive -res and toggle dropping. Brutes can keep the agro and can think properly selecting the right targets -provided they know what they are doing. Creepers don't, they are silly and attack indiscriminatly, loose agro. Thou they are good for opening to take alpha and diversion.
No doubt creepers are an absolutely awesome power. One of my personal favs of the game. And almost a reason to roll me yet another plant domi (and seeds!!)

You'll be eating mobs wholesale very quickly and can tank mob aggro better than any Brutes.

Nope, don't think so -
Take neutron bomb instead of the snipe. More AoE and not interruptable

Maybe i can make a Fire/Storm for O²Boost's mez protection. As far as i can see there isn't any mez protection provider (FF has good protection but who will protect Bubbler?) or a Mind/Empath.
Fire/storm totally rawks!
Pick one:
Ill/TA
Fire/Storm
Mind/Empath
