A few weeks before I moved to FL a storm came through and a surge came though and destroyed a telephone, a cable modem, and my wireless router. Luckily my gaming PC wasn't damaged even though it was connected at the time to the modem and router.
My father has Vista installed on his and his wife's notebooks, and Vista is a strange bestie. -
How inf did it cost to buy all of those IO's? I find all of those guides to be interesting, but most of my characters are too poor to make use of them.
-
Nice. I also skipped Isolator due to Contaminated being scarce when I rolled my db/wp scrapper Red Heeler.

I've only read abut half of this thread, but the main issue that some have seems to be people gettting the other half of the game for free.
I can understand someone who just recently bought both sides of the game being a little upset, however I do not see why long term players are upset. This situationion is just like if you bought a new car back in 2005 and had to puy extra for a 6 disk CD changer as an option. Now the new 2007 models come with the 6 disk CD changer as standard equipment. The car manufacturer does not owe anything to the buyers of 2005 models, NCSfot really does not owe anything to long time players because of this new policy since you have already gotten 2 plus yreas of enjoyment out of COX and got 2 free months from buying both boxes. -
Happy birthday COV! Thanks Devs for giving us such a fun game!

All of this sounds great! Thanks Cryptic and NCSoft!

Very nice story! My favorite otter also got a mention.

Everytime I'm not home for the day, and can't get on the net, something major happens in the COX universe.
Everything on Paragonwiki about I10 looks great so far. I can't wait to hit test and try it out.
I know people are upset about villain EAT's being pushed back to next year, but I'd rather have them and their storyarcs be ready from the beginning. When the Kheld orininally came out there were only a few stroyarcs for them. By the time the rest of the arcs were ready, many people had already outleveled them and were upset. -
Gratz to all the winners, and a big gratz to my fellow Liberty server member ChaseArcanum.

I've seen them, unfortunately I don't have any pics of them. I do remember, though they were lvl 40 in a lvl 30 capped zone.
Go figure.
Edit: They were right next to the largest building outside the hero hosp

Nice, i'll have to double check there someday. -

Sirs,
What is Stateman and the Paragon Times thinking about?
Don't they realise they are endangering the lives of heroes by publishing this information? We should not be handing out information helpful to the enemy in our national papers!

Two separate Cryptic teams? Yeah ok. Whatever you say.
[/ QUOTE ]
I have fairly direct knowledge that this is in fact the case, as incredulous as you might be.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's at least two, given that I doubt a lot of people could be multitasking across CoH/V, MUO and the other projects Cryptic have on the burner right now. Apart from those at the highest level of management and those who might be working on basic systems like the proprietary Cryptic engine (and I say 'basic' as in 'base that other things are built on', not 'simple'), it simply wouldn't be feasible for people to be stretched across multiple projects on different programming platforms ie Xbox360.
So yeah, there are at least two separate teams within Cryptic, at the very least to avoid being sued by Microsoft.

I'm also sure NCsoft has a say in development issues as well, and would not be happy with sharing people from its project with another developer's project. -

Blood of the Black Stream then sure, those are probably pipe dreams

We might actually get a BotBS EAT someday. At leasts there's invention salavage for them, so all hope is not lost. -

Get over the villain EATs ... They're most likely (not for sure, but most likely), never going to be done. Posi said that they simply are more work than they're worth, and have been pushed each issue since I4.
[/ QUOTE ]
If we're talking Coralax Hybrids or Blood of the Black Stream then sure, those are probably pipe dreams. Villainside Nictus however, is just a port of certain Kheld sets and it could probably use the Warshade graphics. I'm gonna go and say it: this would be very EASY for them to do!
Yes, I have hidden knowledge about how easy it is to port existing sets.
Hehe... well, it seemed pretty easy when they ported Dark Melee and Armor to Stalkers. I expect it's "as simple" to do the same with Kheld sets.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, but the issue is not the sets themselves. Its the villain content that goes along with the kheld sets that would be complicated. To give the villains that khelds without content would cause an uproar, since that would be unfair since the heroes get all those kheld arcs.
Another problem is the same reason why we have yet to see lv 50 content in the game, there are so few lv 50's villains compared to the overall player base. Spending many resources on content that only a few would be able to access might not be a good idea. We might see high level content in I10, but since it most likely takes place in a coop zone you can justify that more people would be able to experience it.
The COH experience has also shown that many people do not like khelds, so people that has tried them out hero side might not be interested in them villain side.
When you fact all of this in, you can make a case as to why the devs are using limited resources on other parts of the game and not on villain khelds. -
[ QUOTE ]
If I10 is focused on Da Moon (new 35 - 45 content) , then I11 would have the new sets promised in the Retail Box, because they said they split out the box stuff into Issues 9 - 11.
[/ QUOTE ]
Even though the dev's previously stated the canceled box set was supposed to have new AT's/Sets, and that all the stuff from that box would be in the free contact of I9-I11, several things have changed.
Inventions were supposed to be part of I8, but were pushed back to I9. The big story part of I9 was apparently pushed back to I10. Position recentl stated, as the other posted said, that new sets/AT's are in limbo basically for several reasons.
New sets/AT's might not be exactly on the backburner, but they're close enough to stay warm. -
I'm surpised that this wasn't posted yet (at least I don't see it anywhere), but here is the new Warcry dev interview.
Thanks to Stonefoot from Liberty for finding this story. -
I made a alt named Zombie Cheerleader on Liberty. Her bio says she was murdered by a serial killer and her father had is Caribbean friend brinh her back to life with Voodoo.
edit: Where was that screenshot taken BlackLight? -
Rumor has it the Bob is returning, so I want to be first in line to file a restraining order.
