I have an alt account Im running with my level 50 on my main (baby alt is level 44). I had gotten a paper mission in Gville on my 50 I wanted to secure so I set the mission. Then logged out of my main account altogether. Was heading to the tailor in Cap about 4-5 mins later on my alt account toon and noticed that the mission for my level 50 was still up. On my alt account it reads
A new team task has been chosen.
[Virtue TFs 2010]Vice Virtuoso: Keyes forming in RWZ2 PST
[NPC] Bane Spider Commando: It's a looong way down, so be careful.
You received Mutation: Heightened Speed.
[NPC] Jewel: I'm telling you. If you think this place is ANYTHING like Paragon City, you're wrong.
Entering Devil's Coat Tails.
You have quit your team
Notice that nowhere in here does it show that my other account had logged out and that I had auto-'quit' team because the other team member wasnt in game
Even tho my main account had been logged out for over 4 minutes, my alt account toon had to 'quit team' in order for the mission to disappear. It was still available for him to run back to and enter until I quit.
One other thing.. when I did manually 'quit team' the team window did not show me on a team but still had the click option to quit team showing.
This basically leaves anyone open to complete someone elses mission if it is up and the mission owner has to log or loses internet or gets DCd
Chalk another one up to the team interface issue I guess.. not sure...
I hadnt seem this specific issue brought up before, so thought I would toss it out there -
Quote:As much as I hate to take a quote from GG,it's a way more dynamic and lore-focused way of introducing players to the Hero/Villain battle that's at the heart of the game.
I wholeheartedly agree with her here
Quote:So, to be clear here...
I can make villain ATs (all of them) as a hero without ever having to touch Praetoria or villain side again?

Quote:Check em all out...I can still login, but it sounds like I lost my character
I have emailed support to see if they can transfer but if they can't, could you recommend a fun character setup for a beginner? I was a Blaster before that I was enjoying but I know nothing about it and am happy to try anything
Thanks

Couple of things.. if you UPGRADED from trial to monthly then your toon should be on whatever server you created it on. If you just downloaded the game with no upgrade you will have to start over as it is considered a 'new' account, not an upgrade of your trial one.
Check the server you created your toon on and he should be there IF you upgraded and didnt start a new account. Otherwise, you are out of luck.
There is no such thing as a training server. Odds are you just picked the top server on the list and jumped on in.
and lastly... welcome to the game ! -

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Warlord_of_the_Air
The Warlord of the Air is a 1971 British alternate history science fiction novel written by Michael Moorcock. It concerns the adventures of Oswald Bastable, an Edwardian-era soldier stationed in India, and his adventures in an alternate universe wherein the First World War never happened. It is part of Moorcock's 'A Nomad of the Time Streams' trilogy and, in both its use of technology extrapolated from the Edwardian era (such as airships) and a cod-Victorian / Edwardian era writing style, is generally considered a precursor to steampunk fiction.[1] The novel was first published by Ace Books as part of their Ace Science Fiction Specials series.
