Quote:If it's not possible they should make it possible. This team has trained me not to accept impossibility as an answer. We have proof that we can do the impossible, so what is one more time? Get cracking on it. These guys deserve a chance to play the game, and our communities deserve to be merged in the games, as they are here on the forums. I want to make some new in game friends!A few weeks ago I asked (for the 5th or 6th time) on the french board whether devs were willing to do something for us or not. Suggestions were server merge, server lists merge or account transfer. I got an answer from Avatea that exactly said "It's not on our agenda simply because it's not possible".
So yeah, that basically ruined most of my hopes about being able to play on a "real" server.
Now my question is what will NC do? Will they let the EU servers die slowly and painfully? (at least the non-UK ones) Or will they do something for their players?
I'd love to say myself "Ok, wait for GR, after that there will be a merge, and you'll be able to play one a server with 250 other players, it'll be fun!". But it seems that it won't happen anytime soon... I guess NC wants me to leave, and let things go... -
Quote:I'd side with whichever one would sanction the most bloodshed to win. Probably Recluse, by that metric, but I wouldn't rule Tyrant out.Since Mr Spectre there is using a very political tone, I'm guessing he'd side with whoever pays the most.
Damn it, is this thing still on? -
Both men are beset by judgemental fanatics who want to tear down the social order they have erected. Both men have need of my particular services. Both men have enemies who's precious blood will flow like rivers.
Actually, scratch that last bit. Oh, we're live? Well.... your network has an anti Imperialist agenda! -
Actually, loyal citizen, Nerva Archipelago in an international territory, and not technically within the dominion of Arachnos. Though we have many delegations there involved in various matters of state, it is not our territory, we are guests on Nerva. It is for this reason that the cowardly candy stripers often strike against us when they see a loyal Rogue Isles citizen on Nerva. But do not despair, the same technicality they hide behind can be your weapon against them, should you see a known terrorist among their number, you may consider yourself free to serve them a warrant for their crimes as well!

Quote:That's a slanderous and unproven claim that the United Nations has in no way legitimized despite all international investigations. The fact remains that without proof of these claims, both Longbow and Wyvern are engaged in criminal acts of war against the citizens of the Rogue Isles, who rely on Lord Recluse and his military structure to defend them from jack booted thugs like Miss "Liberty" (who's unwarranted assaults on our nation are too many to number) and Justin Sinclaire (who is currently wanted for acts of espionage against Aeon Corp and Arachnos). And even without the constant threat of these meddling candy stripers, the Rogue Isles are home to many threats that can be traced to have originated in Paragon City, including, but not limited to, The Circle of Thorns, The Freakshow, The Carnival of Shadows, The Malta Group, not to mention the invading Rikti, who threaten the security of all nations of the earth with their ongoing campaign of destruction, which has the ultimate goal of utterly destroying all the nations of the world, the United States and Rogue Isles included. A war we can scarce afford to ignore while squabbling over international politics as Longbow and Wyvern would have us do! Even if all their claims were true, which they certainly are not, these undeniable facts remain; firstly, Stephen Richter, better known to some as Lord Recluse and his military are protecting the innocent citizens of the Rogue Isles from a great number of threats that can ultimately be traced to Paragon City. Secondly, the Rogue Islands have contributed a massive influx of metahuman soldiers to the Vanguard efforts in the ongoing Rikti War, more than any other nation with the exception of the United States, and we can scarce afford to lose those valliant soldiers support by violating their homelands on a daily basis.Arachnos is an organization that supports and promotes violence and crime against Paragon City - it doesn't really matter that they call themselves the "governemnt" of the Rogue Isles or not
We the people of The Rogue Isles have a petition demanding that these illegal violations of our sovereignty desist, and that the criminal masterminds behind them be handed over to face trial for their warmongering in Grandville. If the global community will not support us in this matter of law, then we will have no choice but to seek these threats out on our own. -

Quote:That seems most likely. There'll probably have to be Resistance safe houses of some sort in each zone, because there'll need to be trainers and places to sell your stuff too.
There might be a main Resistance base, that's like the Vanguard one, with several signature Resistance NPCs in it, and then other smaller bases in the other zones. -
To be totally honest, I hope to have one major story update without having Nemesis smeared all over it. Please.

Thanks for that guys. It is the new keyboard, but again, I can do spacebar, up, and right all at the same time with no issue, but not spacebar, up, and left at once. Anyway to correct that, or do I need to look into slapping my old keyboard onto my new machine for the time being?

So, recentlty I got a new computer. And you know, it works great, for the most part. Runs the game beautifully. But there is this one odd thing that it can't do. Or isn't doing, anyway.
Now to start with, I've never gotten comfortable with using WASD to move. It just feels unnatural to me. So instead, I tend to move with the arrow keys. I understand that this is weird and I am okay with being weird.
Here's the issue though. When holding the up arrow and the spacebar at the same time, such as one might do when travelling via Super Jump, the left arrow doesn't respond when pressed. The right arrow does, but the left does not. So I have Super Jumping characters now, who can't jump to the left. To move left they must land, turn left, and then jump forward.
Which is weird and can't be right. Anyone have any idea what's up with that? And how I could fix it? -

Nothing new has been posted since Synapse mentioned it the first time. Sadly.
