  1. Will be there with Blaze.
  2. vBulletin and Invision are my favourites, although phpbb can be customised to be really nice, plus it's free.
  3. Your drawing is really fantastic you draw how I wish I could. I would definitely ask you to do one or more of my toons but I don't want to backlog you or anything =)
  4. I wanted to bring Blaze but that looks like your 4 blaster slots filled already

    Covert Ops

What a shockingly misleading thread title
  6. Someone tried something similar a few weeks ago.

As you can see, it wasn't so successful Unfortunately I don't have enough to get my next batch of SOs so I don't have a lot to spare for ya.
  7. With the current bug, can't you get it just by entering any Paragon Forest map?
  8. Thanks =) based on these replies and my tests I decided to go with Acrobatics

You DIDN'T take Danger Sense? Why, that means no Ranged or AoE Def, you must get your [censored] handed to you. Definately get Danger Sense, if you really don't want extra Def though, get Acrobatics, I constantly find myself dead due to knockback.

I solo on vicious most of the time and I manage to get my enemies close enough that they mostly stick to melee attacks, that saves me some end, an extra toggle and I figured it would give me room for one more power... the way I look at it, since I like my current build, I am going to want my lvl 38 power, 3/4 of my patron powers and that leaves me with just one power at 35 and one at 49....
  10. Can someone tell me how effective these powers are? I solo a lot, and stick to PvE 95% of the time.

I tested both the powers and my first impressions were:

Smoke Flash - doesn't put you in hide like placate, slow animation time, looks rubbish, terrible recharge, good for escaping as long as the mob is in tight around you.

Blinding Powder - confuse works nicely although needs slotting, -acc doesn't last too long, sleep never hit anything, terrible recharge again.

Am I pretty close? I only used each for a couple of mins on the test server so I don't know how good they are for specific situations or when well slotted.

If both suck, what would you suggest taking at lvl 35? The only other things I haven't taken are Danger Sense and Caltrops, both of which I respec'd out at 25. I was also thinking of Acrobatics but that's so dull

    Any help would be appreciated!
  11. Well... I didn't even see this thread until after friday 5pm. You're really best off picking a date 5 days or a week away, and a time that more people will have finished work. Fridays aren't the best choice either as those crazy people with social lives tend to take those nights to quench them.
  12. Max... Combustion? Yuck. Even using (wasting) your next three slots giving it extra dmg doesn't make it worth it. I hated that power.
  13. I would bring my main but atm, it looks like I would raise the lvl too high for most team members?
  14. You'll be lucky not many villains have that much infamy to spare, and those that do probably pass it on to their lower level toons. Infamy seems somewhat hard to come by with the abundance of PuGs in villains. Besides starting from scratch like you did with your first ever hero is kinda fun
  15. When I started my Stalker, I took Danger Sense. Bad idea. I spent most of my time taking melee hits so the range defense was a waste of time and endurance. I respec'd it out at 25, at which point I took Ninja Reflexes instead, and also brought in Stamina.

With Stamina 3 slotted and Ninja Reflexes slotted with 3 def and 1 end rdx, I really notice the difference. I can have it running almost permanently alongside hide without draining end much. Also combining it with Divine Avalanche makes me completely unhittable.

Since I mostly solo, I wouldn't take Danger Sense back in unless I decide to PvP a bit more - at which point I would imagine it helps a lot against blasters.

Assuming you have Stamina in, it could just be a case of reslotting, and considering how much you really need danger sense.
  16. Everyone congratulate Jiaozy on getting his Warshade to 50! Gratz buddy, great teaming with you

    That's 3 lvl 50s, and still a n00b. Shocking.

  17. I hate to be picky, but isn't the place just called "Pocket D"?

    Claws changes

I find that all scrapper's (melee) cone attacks take a bit of practice before you can hit 2 or 3 foes.
  19. As stated above me, Consume and Build Up are the must have powers. You'll want Build up for your nuke and (assuming elec/ has aim?) combining it with aim will give you a 166% damage bonus for 10 seconds.

    Altogether I took:

    Ring of Fire (mandatory)
    Fire Sword
    Build Up
    Fire Sword Circle
    Consume

I agree that FSC has an annoying post-hit animation (like all sword circles) - but I gave it 5 slots because I love it - the damage surprised me

Hot feet is... not very good for a blaster unless you blap a lot or like PvP. Blazing Aura is useless unless you're fire/fire/fire and decide to become a tanker at lvl 50 Blaster's Burn has changed from its description and no longer has the break free effect (or so I've heard?)

Overall the thing I ended up liking about /fire is that I didn't want or need much from it. Which left me to take two travel powers, the fitness pool and recall friend.

Here's a tactic I love that works well with scrappers too. If your most powerful attacks are short range, ready them at a distance then use superspeed or superjump to go flying past your target, once you're within range the power will go off, but your momentum should keep you going and get you out of range again straight away

    [/ QUOTE ]
Only issue with this is its very, very easy to overshoot and aggro another group.

Well... only if you're a moron (not aimed at you!)

  22. I will help, sign up my Blaster. I haven't tried since I was on a team of newbies who failed and gave up within 5 minutes at lvl 15 so I don't know anything about it. But I'll be there if it goes ahead.

Brought my recall friend in too late so it won't be in this TF - and I don't have any respecs to bring it into place so I'll only be offering my blasting I'm afraid
