Personally, not sure it deserves a drumroll...
[/ QUOTE ]
It doesn't deserve to exist - it should be killed with fire now. -
[ QUOTE ]
HaHa!!! That's brilliant
Which one are you Blaze? To the far left or far right?
[/ QUOTE ]
I think (my teammates won't like me if I get this wrong) that picture is, left to right
Dark Over Lord (Over Lord) Sonics/Dark
Gimpsta (Drone Killer) Sonics/Sonic
Real Atomic Cat (duh) Rad/Rad
h34l0rZ (Stage) Dark/Dark
Prospera (Idris) Storm/Elec
Ashpola (Thermight) Kin/Rad
Pointy Death (Me) TA/Archery
Over Lord deleted his sonics/dark though and made a new one. You don't want to know what it's called.
Here's an action screeny -
Be afraid. No seriously, totally [censored] afraid.

I would like to join if there is room for me, otherwise put me down for reserve. Lvl 48 Nin/Nin Stalker. I have lots of temp powers and will grab those specific ones soon.

Kuji-In Rin needs to be 3 slotted to be perma
[/ QUOTE ]
Two is enough, if you use green enhancements. With hasten you get occasional overlap of about 20+ seconds.
[/ QUOTE ]
I recently had this argument where I was on your side, and I think you should double check. You might be thinking of Practiced Brawler, where 2 is plenty. With 3 I barely get overlap (not using hasten). Since Hasten is only in the build at the end, he wont have it in Warburg or earlier. -

Ive been reading alot bout people talking about un-supressed travel. What exactly is meant by this and what, if any, benefits does it offer.
[/ QUOTE ]
Unsurpressed travel powers is travelling without using: Fly, Superspeed, Teleport or Superjump.
Examples:
- 3xJump in Combat Jumping and 3xJump in Hurdle
- 3xRun in Swift and 3xRun in Sprint (plus quickness/siphon speed if you're that AT)
The benefit is that you do not get a slowdown when you attack. You'll notice that when you hit something with a travel power on, you get a five second surpression (you will run/fly/jump very slowly). It was added in i5 mainly to stop blasters flying overhead, sniping and then zipping away.
Using CJ or Swift/Sprint means that you don't have this slowdownSwift and Sprint is not as fast as SS, but swift/sprint/quickness is when fully slotted. CJ+Hurdle is nearly as fast as Superjump and about ½ as high.

Hide only offers a decent defense when you're hidden, and even then only from AoE. So unless you're planning to move in a group a lot, you could just stick 1 or 2 endred in it and leave the def.
I can't see why you've taken invisibility, stealth and hide makes you invisible to most enemies (except maybe scrappers with FA and tactics in RV), and you can't attack with invisibility on.
I suggest squeeze a RecRed into AS. That way you can use it just a couple of seconds after going back into hide. Although you have put hasten in for RV, so it depends where you're planning to PvP the most.
I don't know if you're aiming for unsurpressed travel... if that's not really what you're bothered about, do you need so much slots devoted to swift and hurdle? If you do want unsurpressed travel, I suggest take a slot out of swift and put it in combat jumping for an extra Jump enh.
Otherwise it seems like a good build, you've taken all the core PvP powers and even fit in Acrobaticsyou should have fun even without my suggestions.

Hero Builder is wrong. All the controller sets single target holds are identical in everything except animation.
[/ QUOTE ]
This can't be true... you only have to takea couple of trollers through outbreak to see the difference. Try Earth and Mind, take both single target holds. Mind does much more dmg than Earth... -

if u want a good solo squishy go for a non regen stalker
[/ QUOTE ]
After I hit 22, my non-regen (Nin/Nin) Stalker was no longer a squishy... and after I hit 38 I can last longer than anyone on my team, PvE or PvP. Last month I was the only survivor in a teamplant and had to solo 3 psionic EBs because they wiped out the whole team including several brutes and Masterminds. I'm not trying to boast, just defending Stalkers. What they lack in HP, they make up for in some astounding DEF powers once they hit SOs. -

Maybe it's just me sucking, or is the Nin/Nin stalker -really- sucky at low level?
[/ QUOTE ]
Most Def sets are, I know I felt the pain on my EA Stalker and my SR Scrapper. Def really shines when you get multiple shields/SO's, nothing like beating on a mob and hardly being hit while your res based friend starts screaming for heals.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm talking damage-wise. I think my Brawl could do more damage than my special attacks. :|
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd say it's just you. Yes, regular Stalker damage is fairly low, but slot your attacks for DMG and use plenty of attacks from hide (automatic critical hits y'know)... plus you can't claim Assassin's Strike is low DMG -
Doesn't seem like a successful start with 2 people dropping out, but I will be there at 7pm to see if we can get one started. If you've said you could or will show, please be at Manticore at 7.

Kuji-In Sha is a fantastic self heal. Charges fast with 3x RecRed and just beats a fully slotted Reconstruction. Personally I think it's the main reason to take Nin over SR. You need it
-
I think most ATs are boring when they first start due to waiting for something. Blasters wait for end. Tankers wait for attacks to charge.
Personally I hate all low lvl ATs, anything before about 16 bores me to tears. I don't think its fair to say a Stalker is any worse.
Personally I found my Stalker became really enjoyable at lvl 25 (respec'd in stamina, had SOs, etc) -
I've just realised I have it three slotted.
Hahaha. Hah.
I'll be over here if you need me :/ *walks into corner* -
[ QUOTE ]
You can't skip the first power of the set, and its either this or sting of the wasp which is worse.
[/ QUOTE ] Stalker attacks are primary, so yes you can.
[ QUOTE ]
I'm not sure this is a stalker thing, but your mileage may vary (whatever that means)
[/ QUOTE ]
Not when you have running the ranged and melee defenses shown slotted in the original poster's build. It's fact. You will hit def cap. It only lasts a few seconds though.
[ QUOTE ]
Hold.. stalker shouldnt need holds to kill its targets
[/ QUOTE ]
BU>AS target 1.
Hold target 2.
Placate/strong attack on target 3.
Finish off target 2 with 20% chance of crit.
And Chelsea... are you sure you need 3 RchRed in your mez resistance? With 2 in green the overlap is about 10-15 seconds. Dropping below green is only about a 5-10% change. Although tbh I never let my enhances drop below green -
OK here's some tips, I can't be bothered to write a full build. Some people have said the same things but I'm going to try and put it more... politely....
<ul type="square">[*]You NEED Build Up and Placate. They are core Stalker powers.[*]Stealth is a must have in a mainly PvP build, it doubles your hiding capacity protecting you from tactics' +perception[*]Since Enhancement Diversification (ED) there is no point in putting more than 3 of the same kind of enhancement in one power, as any after that become negligable. (Re: Stamina and Hasten)[*]You need more DMG in your attacks, they're weak enough as it is. 3 slot AS for DMG.[*]Gambler's Cut is skippable[*]Get Divine Avalanche in the build and at least 3x DEF and 1x ACC - you can hit DEF cap when it stacks twice[*]The DEF enhancement in CJ is a waste of space, use end rdx or jump[*]Blinding Powder stinks[*]Kuji-In Rin doesn't need all that DmgRes, 2 slot it for Rch and it will be perma[/list] -
I'll be there with Curiosity, unless I outlvl the TF by then, in which case I'll get my spines/DA to 30 and use him instead
-
Dear Jakey_K
Please do not refer to your awesome art as 'just' or 'doodle' - it only makes our scribbles seem even crapper than they are.
Thanks! -
Hey Phil, gratz on your first 50 on the dark side
And I don't mean Villains
*runs out of defiant board ducking* -
To be fair I think MMs needed a bit more protection. They have a lot of thinking and clicking to do in a short space of time and it makes it hard to keep track especially in PvP. In the RV event I found a slightly twisted pleasure in running up to one and 2-shotting them with Eagle's Claw and Crane Kick, then watching the entire set of henchmen fall over and feeling like I just brought down a small army
-
[ QUOTE ]
yeah but the thing is we knew it would never be the same dmg as a blasters snipe and 70% of a corr snipe is not that bad.
I'm close to lvl 43 and will be fully slotting mine so i'll let you guys know of the outcome.
Oh and it has been handy so far
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm not really saying it's a terrible power, once slotted. But... we're in the last 10 lvls of our alts, leading to the ultimate lvl, 50. These should be the best powers we get. Everyone looks forward to their lvl 32 primary and lvl 38 secondary, and they're nearly always as good as you hope -- not so for this Patron Power. -
[ QUOTE ]
lvl 42 just added 2 dmg 1 inter redux (1 acc 2 dmg 1 inter redux).. activation time is 7 seconds and its criting on crey for 154/154 with BU
[/ QUOTE ]
Compare that to another attack that supposedly deals Extreme DMG.
My Golden Dragonfly, at lvl 41, deals 227/227 Built Up - against a +2 freakshow minion.
In fact, my Soaring Dragon, which is only Superior DMG, does 126/126 (same mob) without build up, and it's only 4-slotted.
I think this sniper should be doing at least 150% the dmg it's doing at the moment.... -
Pre-6, your strongest attack works like AS anyway...
-
Well it also says its Extreme DMG.
Trust me, it's more like Minor DMG.
