As an FYI there are people I know who hated the idea of the first two Master badges so I'm sure they hate the addition of new ones too. Can't please everyone... *shrugs*
There will always be nah-sayers to everything that happens.
Heck, you could start giving away free food to the homeless and somebody somewhere will find a what to take umbrage with it.

The great part of Badges is, that they are optional.
If people don't like them, they don't have to get them.

I would love to listen and participate Nibz, you know that.
That pesky getting up in the early AM prohibits me from doing that.
Buuuuuuut... I might just be able to annoy..... erm... participate on your new Saturday Night Show.

    Hopefully, see you tomorrow night.

  9. I LOVE the Master of Statesman TF Badge, and Master of Lord Recluse TF Badge. And I'm very excited to hear about the Kahn, Barracuda and Imperious "Master of" Badges in I-16.
The Master badges really bring a major challenge to the game. And not just a "Hami Raid" style challenge that you have to get a few dozen people to do, and that can be griefed by any ol' who-ha. But, a challenge with you and 7 of your closest friends. A more "intimate" challenge.

I'm hoping in the next few issues, they will institute "Master of" Badges for ALL the TFs. And more than that, maybe some badges for getting all the Master Badges.
    Just brainstorming here......

    Suggestions -

Kahlan, you do know that you'll be the 2nd on my list to look up to get these Master Badges. The 1st being 'Boss Penguin', Ping.
Also, I gotta tell you that ITF we ran last weekend with you was epic fast! I'll run one of those with you anytime.

Oh, and Ping? Kahlan ran the ITF in 32 minutes, and several on the team agreed that was slow for him. Think the Pingus can do it in under 30 minutes? I'll Kin for it!

    /Agreed
Especially ITFs and LGTFs. I'll bet a dozen of each are formed each Weekend-day just from BMT.
As one of the sources of the off-topic chatter, I would like to say sorry if it annoys you. I try to keep it to a minimum in BMT. But, some people (and you know who you are) bait me. They say something that I just can't help but Zing them with. And the MTs.... Oh... They are priceless.... Except mine. Mine are just stupid.
  13. YES!
I think every TF/SF should have a Master Badge!
  14. I wish there was more call for stuff that DOESN'T have bacon in the ingredients. I'm not a vegetarian, but I do love vegetarian food. I have a Totally Meatless Lasagna that is usually a big hit. But, somehow I feel it would be ill received by this community.
    Savages.
  15. Well, aside from not taking Repel and Inertial Reduction at all, looks like I've been doing it right.
For those coming from Empathy Builds, use the same keybinds for Heal Other (You DO have Teammate keybinds for heals riiiiight?) for Speed Boost, and your friends will thank you.
I've found this useful, having 4 keybinds that say:
    Team: Fulcrum Shift in 3
    Team: Fulcrum Shift in 2
    Team: Fulcrum Shift in 1
    Team: FULCRUM SHIFT! (activates power)
Mostly you'll only need to use this on teams that aren't familiar with your play style (read: PuGs) and unless you are playing with complete dullards who can't learn, you should only have to use the countdown on the first handful of mobs. They'll pick up on how you roll after that. And once they know that, the countdown becomes annoying. So, yeah, it's a limited use bind, but it helps educate people on how to play with a good Kin, and that's good for a million reasons!
  16. DUDE!
That's a Frat House "Morning After" Cure!
I've seen that, or rather something similar at a local frat house.
I had to assist in making it, as it was my friends' turn to make breakfast, but was too hung-over to do it all himself. Here is how I remember making it.

2 Pounds Ground Beef, Fried & Drained
    2 Cans Hormel Chili
    7 Eggs, Scrambled
2 16 oz Ham Steaks, Grilled & Chopped
    16 Oz Shredded Hash Browns
2 Cups Dry Rice (Steam then Add)
    1 Small Jar Chopped Garlic
    1 Large Onion, Chopped
    20 Oz Taco Sauce
24 Oz Shredded Colby/Cheddar Cheese Mix
8 Oz of Mozzarella for Topping/Glue Tortillas
12 Flour Tortillas layer to wrap the Beast

    Pre-Heat Oven to 350 Degrees.
Get Lasagna Pan, spray with Pam, Put 4 Tortillas on bottom, slightly overlapping, put a little Mozzarella between each overlap, make 2 Tortilla "wings" by overlapping 4 Tortillas in the same manner you made your base, tuck them under the base and 'glue' them with some cheese. Now Layer your ingredients. The recommended method is to put half your Hash Browns down first, mix your Ground Beef, Ham, Onion, Garlic and Rice together, layer that next, mix half your Colby/Cheddar Cheese and the half Taco Sauce with the Scrambled Eggs, then layer that, Cover With 2 Cans of Chili, then add the remaining Hash Browns, and a handful of Colby/Cheddar Cheese, fold the 'wings' up to wrap it, pour the remaining Taco Sauce over the Tortillas and cover with Mozzarella then all remaining Colby/Cheddar Mix, and sprinkle with Cilantro, Oregano and Parsley on top. Bake in Oven at 350 Degrees for 45 Minutes.

It was actually pretty damned good.
  17. I just made a new VEAT "Knee High Crab Guy".
But, I can't commit to a Weekly Saturday Schedule.
I can barely keep my Wednesday Static schedule. Weekends are random and chaotic. I might need to swap an engine one week, and the next I'll have nothing to do except lay on the couch eating Oreos and catching up on all my TiVOed Shows.

I'd like to hear your teams "adventures" though. I like the concept, and It could be neat if one of your team would write a weekly "diary" or Journal entry telling the story of your missions.

Could inspire more Static Teaming, and more Role Playing.
    Both are great things!

    Thank you all...

    Well, Congratz.
More for hitting your goal than the actual amount of prestige. I mean, is there really any other use for it than rent and fancy stuff in the base? And you can only buy so much.

But, setting a goal to reach, as a team, is always a great thing. And hitting such a lofty goal is cause for celebration. You can't get that high of prestige without a full team effort. So, Major Congratz to you and your team.

I hope you all find more team goals to shoot for!
  23. I know I said I wouldn't join another static team, but I'm hoping to be able to "guest star" many weeks. I have a VEAT Widow/Fort and an Ice/Cold Corr that are sitting around 4-7 that I'll contribute to the team. And I've been tempted to make a Crab Spider after seeing what they can do.

OK, if all you're doing is farms, then maybe you don't need Transference. But, I've found Transference very helpful for one reason.
If an enemy doesn't have any end, they can't attack.
I have 3 End Mod IOs in my Transference, and on anything except EBs and higher, it drains them COMPLETELY of Endurance.

That's helpful! At least for me.

Now Inertial Reduction, that's a waste.
Go get your own travel power! Why am I wasting power slots on a Travel Power for other people? Your Travel Power is not my concern. I am not a Taxi Driver.
