As for soloing, yeah, you can solo most of the game. Scrappers and Brutes are the easiest solo Archetypes, they're durable and good at dealing damage. Any Archetype can solo, mind you, they're just the easiest.

Mac was my first and only brand of computer for about 10 years. I gave it several chances to catch up in terms of its compatibility issues with... everything. I tried...

But, I couldn't wait any longer. My life became 20,000 times easier with a PC, and I could finally install CoH on my machine (pre-Mac release, of course). I feel your pain, I really do, but that's Mac for you.

That aside, I really don't think the devs are responsible for creating an offline character creation tool, especially not when Mid's already exists. I wouldn't know where to begin making Mid's work on a Mac, though.

One of the contacts, possibly David Wincott, points out that there is no recovering from a 'Dyne addiction. Once you're hooked, you're hooked for life. Also, Kermit is much more coherent than any Troll.

Why not skip the middleman and have an option to pay base rent right at the Base Portal. Rent's due? Click the nearest portal and take care of it!

I'll take anything that makes paying base rent more convenient, I'm running four one-player SGs over here!

I remember I toggled on the sonic disruption field on a tanker, and the tanker was angry because the disruption field could knockback mobs. Also, somebody thinks that putting a kb protection into forcefield dispersion bubble can give the whole team kb protection. When I asked him, he told me that it would also work in other pbaoe defense toggle/click as well. The third incident was really a long time ago, a tanker herded a lot of mobs but mobs were peeling off him, I used nightfall from dark blast to do some aoe, and the tanker said that the power had a fear component which made mobs fleeing.

I wish the one about Karma: Knockback Protection in Dispersion Bubble were true. I would never have remade my Bots/Bubbles Mastermind as Bots/Traps. Do putting any of those global effects into PBAoE buffs make them affect everyone in the buff area?

That was Positron, who said, quote, "I wouldn't wish that system on anybody" when asked if players would be able to put cutscenes in Arcitect missions.

Personally, I hate cutscenes with a burning passion that defies reason. Nothing's worse than when you're just cooking along, fighting and killing and just having a great time, and then you get too close to the mission boss and WHAM!! Drop what you're doing and watch this cutscene! You have no chance to survive -I mean, no choice but to watch! No matter how many times you've seen it before! It's like running into a brick wall that wasn't there half a second ago, and I hate it.

I can't support cutscenes for Arcitect until players have a way to disable cutscenes. Since whole teams see them when someone triggers them, I suggest that the mission owner's setting determines whether cutscenes are seen with teams.

I hate fighting Sea Witch with a Mastermind. She's got this wacky idea that Masterminds shouldn't have a clue where their pets are, or what said pets are doing. This clashes quite strongly with my preference for being able to see my freakin' minions.

If I were to team with you, which I very rarely PuG, You wouldn't hear anything from me about needing Inspirations, unless I needed one to convert to an awaken, or something similar. Even then, I probably wouldn't ask for one. I'd just take my Stamina-less character to the hospital. I would probably get agrivated that you (the metephorical team in general, not you specifically) keeps killing the anchor for my debuffs.

Ever since the devs put Darkest Night into Ghost Widow's Patron Pool for Brutes, I've been having this problem solo. My habit, as a player with an anchored debuff, is to put it on the toughest enemy in a spawn, because that's what needs debuffing the most. My habit, when playing Brutes, is to kill the toughest enemy first, because that's just the way I've been playing this character for almost fifty levels.

So I'll pound some Boss into next week, and suddenly say to myself, "dang it! I just waxed my own debuff anchor! Again!"

The best powers are the ones that make you re-think your play style.

On the main subject, I don't know that I'd be terribly interested in adding courtroom drama-related activities to CHV. For starters, what about those crazy heroes who prefer to straight-up kill bad dudes? I'm pretty sure you can't take a dead man to court in most states. I guess if the whole thing was optional, that'd be all right.

I'll never understand Sephiroth fan-girls. Why do chicks like dudes who look like chicks?

Anyway, I'm not really one for name-campery, and despite my fondness for firearms, I actually haven't thought up a good concept for a Dual Pistols character yet. I may end up re-making one or two of my current characters, though. I guess I need to know more about the power set before I can really get creative or something.

Demon Summoning doesn't appeal to me. Which is really weird, because it honestly should. Demons are cool. Maybe I need to know more about that set too. Or maybe I really wanted the devs to come out with a coven of witches as a Mastermind primary. C'mon, guys!
