One of my great regrets is not being able to experience all the great stuff the devs had planned for us.

But fortunately, a lot of that content is available for us to play on the beta server!

Were you looking forward to the next SSA? Wanted to make a bio armor character or a new blaster with insta-snipe and martial secondary? YOU CAN STILL DO THAT!!

I think it would be fun to get a group of Justice regulars to log in to beta, make some new level 1s, buy a bunch of free XP boosters, and go to town running as much new content as possible. Who would be willing to join me in this last hurrah?

I know that 9:00 pm eastern during weekdays is prime time for most people, but what would be a good day to do this? If you are interested, please let me know what dates and times would be good for you and lets see if we can't get one or more teams of 8 to check it out.

I've had several interactions with GMs in game and by e-mail over the last few years and GM_Lloyd responded to several of them.

In fact, he responded to last petition I submitted, about a week ago, when I couldn't find the last NPC on a kill all. As always, he was helpful, polite, and funny. We even commiserated a bit on the announced sunset of the game. With some of the other GMs, I got the impression that they didn't know or love COH as much as I did. But GM_Lloyd always seemed very knowledgeable and a fan of the game.

I remember being a low level tanker in Perez, trying to get a few folks together to go hunt the Kraken, when a level 50 bubbler came by and said, "Wait here." He bubbled us and turned on Force Bubble and Dispersion Bubble, and ran around the zone for a few minutes pushing NPCs around. Then, he came back to where we were waiting and just stood there.

HUNDREDS of Hellions and Skulls came chasing after him. It seemed like a never ending stream. And as long as we stayed inside his bubbles nothing could touch us. I had to dance in and out since I was melee, but the others who had ranged attacks were having a field day.

Ahhh . . . . memories.

I'm thinking a ship raid might be the best way to get Alpha a lot of XP and have a large group of people helping him.

Do you have a preferred way you like to level? Or a favorite story arc, perhaps?

I don't think that I will ever pay a lifetime subscription for anything. Because I have no idea when I'm going to die and even less of a clue when the business is going to die.

Totally self centered response: I don't see me. There are a few people at the very beginning at the edges that are unseen and perhaps I was there or maybe I got stuck behind some tall person. I'll check again after you tighten the crowd.

I'm in for the earlier runs. I need all three of those Magi badges on Bionic, but can bring others as needed.

9:00 pm Pacific is a little too late for me. I wind down sometime between 11:00 and midnight eastern, which has me logging out as you are getting started.

That said, I am willing to help anyone get the hard badges and willing to bring whatever powersets are needed to get them.
