As for the OP's suggestion, I'd even be happy with oversized hands to completely hide the existing model as with demon overlords and greater devoureds. (Not that those hands are hiding anything, but perhaps as an option to get around the current animation issue.)

It's a REALLY bad justification. It makes just as much sense to be able to shoot talons out of your fingers as it does to launch the claws on the back of your hands. -

But does that mean they are actually functionally identical? I don't think so. You mentioned earlier the higher base HP brutes get. It makes a considerable and measurable difference on the mitigation front, causing all the secondaries to perform better for brutes than they do scrappers. Is that balanced against the higher(?) damage output of scrappers? I dunno, probably, maybe... -
Where "arbitrary" here means March 6th which is the release date for the third in a very successful space franchise as others have mentioned. A purely coincidental occurrence, of course.

Another data point: Made 975 million inf (minus market fee) on the hecatomb and ragnarok purples that dropped for me today. Sold em for 1 inf each.

Sounds like it's better to stick in aoes. Stuck mine in followup and the only time I peg 100% is against really hard targets.
Seriously tempted to go back to my max recharge build so that I can chain fu/focus/slash instead of fu/focus/slash/swipe... but that's a tough call. I like all the extra HP I have now.
edit: However, I haven't buffed my set yet; still sitting with all the base values. -

But beyond that, honestly? I never want to see solo-ONLY content. I'd much prefer to be able to start (and fail) everything by myself than EVER force anyone to solo that doesn't wish to do so. -
