I had some great responses to my last online contest and I decided to host a new one for the month of July. This contest is another theme; however any costume pieces will be allowed for this contest. The theme is technology and I want to see your best robots, cyborgs, androids, tech suits, etc... If it is a tech based character, I want to see it.


Rules

• Any costume pieces allowed
• You can submit up to 2 costumes per player.
• First place 300,000,000 Inf
• Second Place 200,000,000 Inf
• Third Place 100,000,000 Inf
• You can only take up one of the top three places. If you have two great costumes, you will get paid for the best one of the two.
• You will have creative freedom for your design.
• All submissions must be entered by July 29th at 12 pm EST.
• The winner will be announced no later than August 1st around 12 pm EST.
• All costumes must be posted on this thread and please do not submit in a PM

P.S. Action shots are allowed, but I still need a still shot.

We do not have any natural or tech control powers and I think this could help... This is just a suggestion.

Contest Results...

It was a hard contest to judge and I would like all that submitted pics. Every Picture was a a winner in my book; however, there has to be one that stood out above the rest. I actually got down to two finalist and I could not pick one winner over the other so I decided to pick both as winners and give each 500,000,000 which raised the payout to $1,000,000,000.

The winner for the Universal Costume Pieces is Aumakua. I like the tech/military look and I can see a team of these running through atlas protecting civilians.




And the second winner is OneWhoBinds for the use of purchased costume pieces. The blend of chain mail with tech is simple yet affective and a great choice.

Fire/Cold/Stone Mastery controller. You get Arctic Fog and Snow Storm (While active, the chill from this Snow Storm can dramatically Slow the attack and movement speed of the target and all nearby foes. The torrent winds of the Snow Storm are enough to bring down flying foes.) that can be used for air as well as water.

Kinetic Melee would work for a wind power...

Wind energy- is the kinetic energy of air in motion, also called wind.

Hello everyone! I am Big Soto and I am having an online costume contest. We are in the process of opening a new super group named C.A.S.T.L.E. on Virtue and we do not have a super group costume designed yet. This is where you guys/gals come in. I thought it would be a great idea to have a costume contest and see what everyone comes up with and I am buying the rights for the costume design for $500,000,000 influence. We will vote on our favorite costume design concept for the super group. Of course there will be some rules.

Rules

• All costume pieces must be available to all players.
• You must submit a male and female version of each costume.
• Each member can submit no more than two different costume designs.
• The first costume must fit the super group’s theme and must be free pieces.
• The second costume you can create anything you want. You can even use purchasable pieces. **edited**
• The super group chest symbol is the Rook.
• You will have creative freedom for your design even to include SG colors.
• We are very patriotic; however we are not against red, white and blue colors for a SG costume, but please, please do not feel that you are limited to those colors only.

Brief super group history
We were a group of human that was secretly funded by the government. We were established after the 2002 Rikti invasion. Recently the members of the council made a request to the government to allow the recruitment of super powered individuals and the request was denied. The council then decided to separated from the government and recruit any worthy member to help the fight against all evil doers that might hinder anyone’s life, liberty, and he pursuit of happiness.

Theme
We are modern knight’s costume with tech. Think of us as a mix of Medieval Knights and S.H.I.E.L.D. with advance Tech.

Now I am leaning toward assault as well. You can never go wrong with more damage.

It just seems what my characters needs to make him well rounded. I would like that I will not have to carry break free's. I am guessing 40% status protection is enough to protect from most mez power, or is it? I am planning on getting Core Embodiment, but I will not get any use from the +1 to mez powers just the +psi and status resist.


edit: Crap.. I just remembered that their is a difference between resist and protection.

I was just wondering if anyone is getting the Control Hybrid for the 40% Status Resist and the 75% chance for Psionic damage? My PB has great resist, self buffs and with IO's he has KB protection, but with Status Resist and a chance for damage might be what he needs to round him out in human form. Has anyone else thought of doing this or is it just me?

I have been using Macro's for my forms for my PB for over 5 years now and I have to say that I love the new power tray. Its one less macro I have to worry about in my trays. I did use the macro that changed my trays for me and it was very easy to use, but the new tray is easier. I just wish we can change the order of our powers in the tray.

Ant Man is coming in 2014. I wonder will he be in the next Avengers.
