  1. I know Sleet is epic, I'm just enjoying Leap attack for now. I am using snowstorm, and I'm considering dropping Leap attack.

I really enjoy the teleport effect and the looks. As a fire/earth, Teleporting into melee is nice. Besides, It's not like I can't burn through a spawn in moments anyway as it is, fun is certainly a reason to choose a power.
  2. Well, I'm glad they have decided a reasonable path to fixing this issue. If they had nerfed it completely I would have dropped bonfire for sleet. I wouldn't have been upset, just annoyed at respecing.

This looks good, though they really need to buff Iceslick now, it needs 16 targets and maybe a minor damage effect. I like the idea of Iceslick doing little chunks of damage each time someone falls down and hits their head.

The fact is, this IO shows that Bonfire with KB was mostly useless and will go back to being so once the change goes in. However, while I don't expect it to happen, this would be a good opportunity for the devs to correct a flawed power. If I were the powers team, I would remove the ability for the power to slot Universal damage, but I would also remove the KB from Bonfire and change it to a chance to KD. Give the critters a chance to survive, but not return the power to a useless state.

I guess the other reason I'm arguing isn't really about the power, but because this IO has just shown how completely useless and annoying Knockback is. I see so much joy now that we have some control over this pernicious effect. While I do understand that Bonfire is overperforming, I just hate to see a power nerfed into uselessness which is exactly what this power will be with KB.
Let me say first, that I've got the KB/KD proc slotted into Bonfire on my permadom Fire/Earth.

Bonfire with this is fun but yes, it's over powered. Is more overpowered than Seeds of Confusion?
Mmmmm. Yes. Though not by a whole lot. The real problem I see is that one IO shouldn't transform any power to such a degree.

I think EvilGeko's idea would work best. No have or have nots, and Bonfire would be decent all around. Make the power into a nice damaging field, with maybe a 30% tick to KD, and it would be very useful, but not a game breaking monster.
  4. The correct and adjusted proc rate better be available for viewing before IO slotting. I don't want to plug in and out procs because they've screwed with the system to the point where you need to do math on paper to figure your correct PPM.

This is a make or break issue for me.
  5. Time Manipulation...

Farsight gives base +10% to hit for Corrupters for 2 min, on a 4 min base recharge. Easy to get that permanently...

    +12.5 for Defenders

    Mecha-Wings

Thank you for the answer Arbiter Warrant.

I suppose I could suggest Jump Opening Mecha Wings as a separate option, it's not like it would take much code.

    Mecha-Wings

A small but annoying issue with the new Mecha wings.

They open up fine when you fly, but unlike all of the other wings, they don't open/unfold when you superleap. I usually get around by SJ with my characters and I enjoy the look of open wings when you jump.

I really like the new wings, it's kind of disappointing to see them sit there in passive when I jump a mile. I suspect this is a minor bug, I'd love to see it fixed
  8. Well, I guess I will find out when I get up in the morning.
  9. Oops!
I think they broke something important!
  10. Ditto for me.
The game did a small update, then complained about my game version after I tried to log in.
  11. While I don't think Scrappers need a buff, something unique would be cool.

How about a specific minor improvement to Scrapper crits?

Like a stacking effect that reduces the targets resistance or defense a small amount, perhaps 2 or 3 percent? Basically this would represent that the crit has struck a weakness and doing so, made the target slightly more vulnerable for further attacks.
  12. I was just going over my Crab's powers at City of Data when I saw something that surprised me.

According to them, Wolf SPider armor has a resist defense debuff effect of 30%

    Is this new?
I'm soft capped at 52% Defense vs ranged, I'd be thrilled to find out I could actually get some defense resist.

It also lists the power as having To hit debuff resistance and a nice chunk of Recharge resist.

Did I just not notice this or what?
  13. I haven't tried pvp on my ice/psy dominator, but if this goes live... Eww. He will be real pet bait.
  14. No problem. I just wanted to make sure the answer was on this thread for anyone else who was curious.
  15. Just to answer my own question, yes, the listed 2% is correct.
I don't know if that is "working as intended" or just a miscalculation, but that's the way the proc works for now.
  16. A quick question, does anyone know if the 2% number on the disorient procs is correct or a typo? I grabbed one for my frostbite area imob.

If it's really just 2% instead of 12% or 20% I can't see the reason anyone would bother.
