First off stop humping dogs, thats inhumane.
And to answer your question, try taking a bath and use soap that's normally what most people do, we've been doing that since prehistoric times.

So my earlier posting about deleting my Psi Dom was correct.
Hey at least the market will have some purples again. I have 2 Doms that will be stripped and deleted and purples will be sold. So keep your eye out for a flux in the market...lol
Castle is wise alright, he just saved me a lot of money for my second account. Thanks! -
Glad to see this will effect the AE, maybe, just maybe we can get people to run real ingame content with the new Super Sidekicking feature and the new difficulty system. And hopefully it will help the market some.
-
Afdter throwing off my AOEs and then finishing up with bosses with single target attacks, my AOEs are ready to go by the time I get to them, if not I lead off with Obliteration and then footstomp. Most times, I find myself not using Shield Charge.
Quote:You only have one additional AoE and like Smurphy said you're surely not using it every mob. For the most part, you should still be using Foot Stomp whenever it's up. It's your best AoE afterall. -
Issue 15 Map Pack Update!
Hey everyone, sorry for not updating you here on these forums, but with the forum migration and RL sidetracking me. I guess its better late than never
As most of you all know, we normally only update the map pack once a new zone comes out or if we find errors in our maps. But since Blondeshell has been taking the time to update our printout maps and spicing them up with some extra details for everyone, we figured why not do it to the map pack as well.
So I hope you enjoy and again, if you find any errors please let me know so I can make the corrections needed

Quote:I'm speaking from my in game experience, the difference is there on my SS/Fire who's a damage machine. The Force Feedback proc usually goes off every 2-3 Foot Stomps which brings the recharge down to 4.5 seconds and the Armaggedon always hits atleast a few every FS which is 107 extra fire damage.
If you just sit spamming Foot Stomp in big mobs, you'll see the difference.
That's just my point, once I engage a mob, its 3 AOEs and I'm off to the next group, I am never standing still spamming footstomp.
For your SS/Fire only has 1 AOE, unless you take the AOE from the Patron, so I can see you standing there spamming footstomp and benefiting from that. I on the otherhand won't.
But I will agree it would help providing that is your only AOE. -
Quote:With the amount of damage my brute puts out, I doubt I would even see a difference in 2 procs. With a full fury bar and rage, my 3 AOEs pretty much takes care of everythingIMO Foot Stomp deserves 6 slots. Having 2 procs in it is simply awesome (Armageddon and Force Feedback).
-
Quote:And for what reason?I suggest dropping the Damage (Superior) for anything else. A plain Endurance Reduction, Force Feedback: Recharge, another damage proc... anything else.
I don't see how anything else will help me, as I don't have any end problems and FS has been doing a great job for me. I'm just curious as to why you suggest removing it and putting something in its place? Besides, losing the 10% recharge isn't something I''m looking forward to losing
Yeah, the chance for fire will allow me to keep the 10% recharge, but will yield less damage, actually a lot less. -
Quote:While you're at it, please fix the character copy tool. It's not working again! The North American Training Room has been taken offline for an emergency maintenance.
We will be updating this thread once it is back up and running.
Many thanks for your patience with this matter.
Thanks -

Not sure if others are having issues, but instead of making a new thread I used this one. It seems the CCT is down again. I cvan log in just fine, select the server and characrter, but after submitting, nothing is being transfered to the test server.
I did this last night before I went to bed, figuring the que might be pretty big, but no luck this monring. I tried the transfer once again and after 2 hours, still nothing.
Please get this fixed asap, I have a few characters I would like to try some builds on and I can't do it...grrr
Thanks -
Quote:Beef Cake, nice animation on that banner... good thing I don't know how to make those, it would be on.
(insert 9 more intelligent things to talk about - here) and now my annoying signature...
Just a little fun with Image Ready, its actually simple. I made that banner a year ago, I've been using it on the vidiotmaps forums for a while now. -
I don't mind sig banners, as long as they are within reason when it comes to size. WHen they stretch out the forums and cause the forums to break, or are the size of a white notebook paper, then they need to be removed.
-
I still see the grey block around your image. So yeah, its still a issue for me. Besides your image, isn't transparent like most, at least your image takes up most of the area. For those who use transparent images, that do not take up the full square, it looks like crap.
-
Here is a build I use for my brute and I have no end problems, unless its a long drawn out fight, but that rarely happens. It is a costly build, but thats how I normally build my characters.
Also:
The empty slot in Health, I used the Panacea Proc
The empty slot in Tough, I used the Gladiator Armor +3% Defense proc
You could totally get by without using these 2 procs, I just went overboard and used them anyway, it really make a difference

Quote:Well for square avatars such as yours, it looks ok. But for transparent avatars, it makes them look like crap. There is still a setting that will eliminate the square background. My forums had the same thing, I just had to turn it off, this forum should have it too.The forums put avatars on top of another image. In the villain skin, it's a gray block. In the hero skin, it's a gray block with a transparent rectangle on the right side.
The villain skin's thing looks pretty good for square images (gray border around the image). The hero skin looks decent for avatars with irregular shapes (ie: not square/rectangle), giving the avatar a layered look. -
Quote:I'm currently using a png transparent file for my avatar, as you can see the block still exists. I've tried a few different formats and they are still showing the grey block behind your transparent avatar. I've used both IE7 and IE8, they both yield the same thing.Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried using a PNG file? They're much superior to GIFs in that it includes a full alpha channel, not just a transparency mask, plus it supports 32-bit color versus the indexed 256-color palette of a GIF. The only downside is that people with ancient versions of IE see transparency as a gray block, barring a javascript tweak.
It has nothing to do with the browser, but I know whatcha mean. Its a setting on the forums that is causing the grey block. Because in my avatar settigns, the image shows properly and looks great, but on the actual forums, its shadowed by the grey block (background)
Hopefully they can fix this, otherwise transparent avatars will look nasty as they do now -
Is there anyway we can get the BB coding tools enabled to help us with bold, text color in our posts and replies?
-
Well, I'm not sure if most of you remember the survey that was handed out a while ago, but on that survey, for those that don't remember, here is the short version of what was on the survey:
- 1.) New high level Space Station Zones (PVE, PVP, & Co-op)
- 2.) Characters that do not wish to change sides are rewarded by becoming exemplary heroes or villains, and earning rewards not available any other way
- 3.) Heroes and villains who go to the other side can also act as Double-Agents
- 4.) Character Creator 2.0 includes Powers Customization, allowing players to customize not only the character, but also the actual look of its powers
- 5.) Players undertake missions that define their character's morality and steer them in a more heroic or villainous direction
- 6.) By switching sides (going from good to bad or bad to good), players can access content "on the other side" (heroes can experience villain zones and content, and villains can experience hero zones and content)
- 7.) Completely new low-level player experience/zones for new characters in which new characters do not begin a hero or villain, rather become one or the other through early gameplay
- 8.) New Spy Archetype, Power Sets & Costumes
- 9.) Universal Enhancement Slots - at level 50, these enhance powers to the character, essentially bringing them to a hypothetical "Level 60" once they have earned all ten slots
From this list, we will be getting whats in the green text. #8 we know we will be getting 2 new Power Sets, so that's sorta true, just not the Spy Archetype.
What I would hope to see from thsi list is #9 I would love to get a few extra slots. This would allow us to slot a few extra end reducers in some of our powers that need it, extra run speed in sprint..etc..etc. -

(cries tears of joy)
Been using that feature on other forums and I can't begin to describe how much of a pain it was to quote multiple posters before compared to using this simple little feature.
And even though its a small thing, I like your personal page too. Who knows maybe we will see the City Vault with the new forums -
Quote:A vet of 3 years plus, I remember the days when most of the pvp zones were busy, now a days I find the odd bit of pvp going on in RV, and even then it just aint fun. Am I the only one that feels this way lol. I have enough lvl 50's that are pretty much fully IOed, but it hardly seems like it was worth it now.
I couldn't agree more. But honestly, pvp can be fun, providing you can find anyone in the zones to pvp. But yo're right, pvp isn't what it use to be. Its really died down on Pinnacle. At least we had people in the zones, now its a ghost town. I sat for 5 hours on my villain getting the badge for being in Siens Call for the accolade, and only 3 people showed up in that 5 hour time period.

Please get rid of the grey background behind the avatars. It eliminates the transparent images that we use. Other than that it will take some getting use to.
-
Just get rid of the nasty grey background behind the avatar and I will be happy.
