I don't think scrappers should get this. By the time they got round to changing all of the powers scrappers would have no use for, it would just be a weak SR clone.
If you want to play a ninjitsu character make a stalker! With the recent changes to stalkers they make more than viable 'scrappers' in large teams. -
This is my current build, which I'm fairly happy with and will probably not be changing any point soon. This is also purely a PvE build, built for accuracy, a bit of recharge and I also have 13.4% positional defence to all which helps survivability. I wouldn't bother slotting sentinal with damage, it does negligable damage and is unbuffable, the end drain in pvp is far more useful.

I'm respecced back into power now, and it's a lot better! For PvP too, power would be better, as a power boosted transferance is just cruel to the other players, and you dont want to have to stick around in melee range too much to use power sink! I also found voltaic sentinal a great power for pvp as its a contant end drain to the enemies, and I'm fairly sure it can see through hide to get rid of those pesky assassin strikes!, but since I'm now only playing PvE I dropped it.

I had exactly the same problem on my defender :P
I've tried both out extensively, and am currently on electric, but I plan to respec back to power next respec. They both work equally well, but I find that by the time both the short circuit and power sink animations have finished, most of the enemies have been killed by team mates, whereas running in while activating PBU while charging and opening with power sink is an excellent, quick, way of mitigation. You're also right about thunderstrike, I don't think I'd mind as much if it did large damage to all of the foes, but a huge knockback with minor damage to all but the main target upset me a bit. Shame, as the electric armour looks really cool on my character! -
I know you've already started, but I can imagine illusion/TA being pretty good for this, as TA's first power will set up containment for you (as well as providing some decent control), so you will be doing twice as much damage throughout most of the game!

I'm planning my first expedition into sets with my favourite character, and have come up with this build. I know I probably won't have enough inf for this build straight away, but as far as I can tell I'm not using any VERY expensive sets, except from the miracle and crushing impacts. I'm also trying not to compromise any of my powers just for the sets, but I had a lot of spare slots so have a lot of leeway. Any feedback would be appreciated!
P.s. I'm not sure how to set the slots to 50 as opposed to 53, sorry

I have a natural ill/TA controller on union, with the concept that he is a hypnotist who can trick other into his way of thinking, or even into thinking that they are being hurt (made him after I saw a professional hypnotist, I truely believe that may be possible after seeing him!). I know it's a bit of a stretch, but if you're looking for troller ideas it COULD work. I'm going away soon so won't be able to join in...but I just thought I'd put it forward as an idea if anybody else wanted to use it

On my Warshade, the # key no longer opens the menu for some reason. It still does on all my other characters, and I've tried unbinding it in case I'd overridden it with another command by accident, but to no avail. Like I said, a small problem but I was just wondering what is up.

My DB/regen is probably the easiest solo I've ever played, with debuffs and a whole load of knockdown in the combos,it's very much like playing the game with easy mode on

Sorry for making a fuss about such a minor detail, but I'd quite like to know what's going on. Ever since I've moved back home from university the patch downloader does not show any recent updates, instead saying 'cannot display this webpage' and several solutions. There is no actual problem with the game, and I can still click 'Next' or 'Verify all files' I'm just wondering if there's any way to sort it. My internet explorer also comes up with this and does not work at all, but I normally use firefox so this is not a problem. Any help would be appreciated!

I noticed this too in my enhancement screen, when I scroll over the pet powers it comes up with their enhanced accuracy but not damage, though I havn't played him in a while so don't know wether this is just an enhancement screen but or something more serious. All my slots are lvl30 common IOs, no sets. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've been playing my thugs/poison up to lvl 45, hearing that in later levels I am able to solo Avs and heroes, but from lvl40+ I have been trying, without any success to do this, and was wondering what was up. What tactics/powers do people use to solo these enemies? I have all the primary powers except pistols and dual wield, and all secondaries except paralytic poison, poison trap and antidote, with mace as my patron. I've also taken medicine aid other/self and slotted these rather than alkaloid, as I found alkaloid lacking in the heal department; Aid other is far better. Please help me!
